Preparing for FALL🍂 Fall Shopping, Baking, haul & updates!🧡

Good morning, afternoon, whatever, whatever time it is. We're pretending it's fall. It's like 85 degrees outside but it's September. It is fall and so we're gonna go do some fall adventures today. I don't have my kids this weekend. I usually just like don't even know what to do with myself when I don't have them so I'm gonna go take myself out. We're gonna go to a couple stores. I know on the agenda Bath and Body Works because there's a couple things I want and they have a sale going and Target. I have not been in there since they've put out fall. We're gonna go check that out. I don't know if I necessarily need anything. I do know I'll probably end up with some snackaroos. I want to bake some things. We're gonna check out the baking section. Probably like some cinnamon rolls or something like that. I die over the Pillsbury pumpkin cinnamon rolls. Oh my gosh, I'm unwell and I shouldn't eat them because they have gluen in them. There's a hack that I want to do with the cinnamon rolls. I will probably make them in this video. That's on the list of things to do because we're gonna do all kinds of fall things today. Maybe I'll wait till Sunday to make those because my kids, I'll want them to be home when I make them. But what else? What else? What else? What else are we gonna do? I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine. We're gonna go just adventure shop, look at some cute decor and other things and then I don't know. We'll see where this day takes us and I might have to add just depending on what transpires, I might have to add a couple days into this vlog because I just like I don't know how to vlog anymore guys. I don't know. Like what do I do? What do I share? It's just so boring. My life is so boring and I'm like there's no way I should be documenting this because it's like what the heck. But at the same time, those basic vlogs I love when other people do them. I'm like I love just like following your life adventures. So that's what we're gonna do today. Come along for the journey. We're gonna go do some fall things. I have a candle going right now. This is so shaky. Sorry, this table is not very stable. That smell, man. It's the leaves candle from Bath and Body Works. I just end up getting like 20 of them every fall. So they last all year long. That is like my go-to smell. I'm obsessed. Probably for 15 years that candle has been lit every single day of my life. So I'm never sick of it. I love it. Anytime people come over they're like what does that smell? It's so good. Look how cute these clips are. Did I show you guys these already? I got like a pack of them. I will link them just because they're so freaking cute and it came with like a bunch of them. Clips are so expensive. I went to go buy one clip at Ulta and it was 13 bucks. I was like no way am I gonna spend $13 on one clip. Especially with the way that I treat clips. Like I lose them all the time or break them. I got a pack of I think five or six of them for less than that. So Amazon baby. That's where it's at. Oh let's see. While I'm doing this it's like what else what else can I catch you guys up on? I have been doing my own nails. Have I shared that? The last like five times um I've done my own nails. I used to do nails for a living. Did you guys know that? But when I did nails I did acrylic so gel is like not something I'm good at by any means. But I do have- I just got myself some gel stuff. I can link that below too. I got the lamp. I got the polishes. I got the building gel, top coat, base coat, all the things you know. And every few weeks I just switch it up. It's been nice because it's been free you know. Oh my gosh what is going on? I am not- Listen okay. I cannot talk and do mascara apparently. My eyelashes have never looked worse in their life. I don't know what to do. Come on now. Why are you so clumpy? Okay everybody be quiet. Hold on. No one talk to me. Question for you. What are some fall traditions? Like what are some things that you do with your family or you do for yourself? Like is there anything that you do once September hits? Or maybe you're an October girl. Maybe you wait till then. But like how do you like kick off the season? I always just start with- I go straight to decorating. Like September 1st my kids know. Out come the bins and everything's decorated. But I love hearing other people's traditions. If you do anything fun, I'd love to hear it in the comments. So let me know. All right that's pretty much it. Like I basically do no eyeshadow. I do like one. This is the eyeshadow I've been using. This like middle one. It's very light. I do like one swipe and then I just do my real eyelashes. Crimp them. This is the mascara I've been using. The- What is this? The L'Oreal Extensionist. Is that what this is? Whatever this silver thing is. I look horrible today so don't judge today's mascara. Yeah I better do my lips though because that will finish the ensemble. I look crazy right now. Let's go. I gotta go take the Ruby Sue out to go potty. I don't think that I have talked with you guys about this at all but I want to share because it's kind of funny. I got the keys to this house on June 25th and when I got here the lawn was atrocious. I don't know if I've mentioned this in a previous vlog or not but I'm telling you there was not one shred of green grass. It was completely dead. I'm pretty sure the house was sitting here for a few months vacant and there's no sprinkler system here so it just was not getting watered. Temperatures have been three digits all summer long. The lawn looked awful. The only green that was in the grass were the weeds. That's the only thing that was green. Everything else was just crispy white dead. My arm gets tired holding this out so I had to set you down. So I get the keys and I start watering just like with a hose so I'm like I don't know what else to do. My brother came and set up like a timer so I have like a little sprinkler that would just hit the front lawn while I wasn't there because I didn't move in for another month. I had the key but I was like I'm not here to just like water every day. You know what I mean? Anyway I had a neighbor come over and she was like you know this lawn has just been like so awful like it's been so hard for anybody that's lived here to upkeep. I would just not even like just wait till next year. Don't even worry about it. I was like girl I don't know if you know what you just did to me because now that you're like there's no hope for your lawn. I was like yes there is. Now I have to prove a point. My lawn turning green has been my number one goal and I swear it's mainly because my neighbor was like it's it's impossible that lawn cannot turn green. I was like yeah watch it's gonna be green. I'm gonna show you guys what my lawn looks like right now. Let's go. I'm trying to get the same angle so just remember this is what it looked like before. I mean it's definitely not perfect but for sure looking better than what it was. I'm at Beans and Brews. This is my order. It's complicated listen. Can I do a iced vanilla chai? What size? A small. Okay I'll have your total for you at the window. Thank you. You too. No exaggeration this is pumpkin. I feel like I stuck a straw in a pumpkin and just like sucked its guts out. That's what it tastes like. When it comes to these shop with me videos I think I already mentioned how awkward I feel in stores doing this but if I'm showing you something it means it caught my attention so like I think these things are cute. You know I will try to have as many things linked below just because I know if I'm showing you something and you like it you probably want to see a link. So just check the description below and I will again link as many things as I can. This stop wasn't on the agenda. We have this little store called Entertainment Mart. It's the only store that feels like Blockbuster because they have a whole section of movies. There's also a bookstore on the other side but I love going in here. Just again it's giving Blockbuster 1990s and I love it. Okay we're gonna show a couple things that we got. First we gotta start with the pajamas because this is a pajama shirt. Okay I'm not just rocking cartoons on my shirt. This is pajamas and I just picked these up at Walmart. So what I didn't show you was my trip to Walmart. I go there a lot and I didn't record anything this time but I did in my last video but anyway starting with the pajama set because are you kidding me? I don't know if I've ever had a Halloween print. I cannot think of a time that I've had Halloween pajamas. This is the first for me. I definitely get Christmas jammies but like are you kidding? This is just so freaking cute. So bottoms I got an extra small. I'm going to show you guys how these fit. The top they only had large extra large triple XL so this doesn't come in a set so you have to buy them separately but I actually went with the what size was this? This is the size 11 12 but I love how it's like the boxy t-shirt look you know? I think it's so cute. Also the softest stretchiest pajamas I've ever had. So yeah go get yourself a pair. I'm going to show you a bunch of other kinds that they had available because this is not just the only one. They had a bunch and they're so freaking cute. This is a ghost tray because the amount of snacks that I make at night time for my kids like when we watch a movie at night. I thought this was just so cute and it was just a couple bucks. I'm going to use this a lot. That's because you know I was actually thinking I'll probably wait till October to decorate for Halloween but why not? I'm actually just going to do it now. I'll do it in a different video. I don't got time for this today. Speaking of Halloween decor look how freaking cute. You know my love for vintage Halloween. Anything that's like vintage vibes is up my alley. This is the pumpkin cat blow mold. I've actually had my eyeballs on this for a couple years and I have a ghost one and I think I'm going to put these two suckers in the living room but just stay tuned for the next video where I actually I actually decorate. Just so cute. I gotta show you guys this is like the cutest little jack-o'-lantern. I have a white one too but I like this terracotta color and they're made out of it's like paper mache. They feel so cool. Oh it says and it says it's brown. Does that look brown to you? Does it look brown? Terracotta if I had to guess. Oh oh oh okay no I had to. I literally had to and I feel like this was a little pricey for let's unplug it. Let's get it going. Oh my hello. It's the cutest little ghost I've ever seen in my whole entire life. I was debating between the white one and the black one. Black probably would have looked better. I don't even know where this is gonna go. I just was like I have to get it. Every time I walk past it I'm like I want it. I don't know why I want it but I want it so I got it and then I had to get myself a little orange bath bomb because I'm gonna take a bath tonight and I thought I couldn't find a cute pumpkin one. It's citrus scent but it's got Halloween vibes because it's orange. So my mom texted me today and was like have you seen the leaves candle at Walmart and I said no and she said it smells just like it. Maybe maybe I have. Maybe dude I have the worst memory. Okay let me just be straight up with you guys. If I've ever talked about this in a previous video, a leaves candle from Walmart, I just have forgotten. This is new news to me. Smells just like the leaves. My mom says it burns like it. Four bucks. Can't beat that so I got that which is funny because you know I just picked up one from Bath and Body Works when I went there. I'll show you the things I got. When I smell this by itself it smells so good. When I compare it to this leaves it's like a hundred times stronger. So they're, I mean you're getting your money's worth with the Bath and Body Works one but still this is a good comparison. What else? Okay this is a smell I've never smelled from Bath and Body Works Autumn Drive. I wouldn't like it as a candle but it's really good with soap, lotion, body wash. Like this would be, this is so good. In fact this was the only one that they had in store. They were sold out of like this hand soap. So good and I love the color. Target. I got what I came for is what I did. Cinnamon rolls. I told you this is what I was gonna be making tonight and mark my words I will. And I'll show you guys a fun little hack. It'll actually be the first time I do it so hopefully it turns out. I know you already saw her. I'm babysitting Ellie for a couple days huh? Are you my little bestie? You're Ruby's best friend huh? You guys are such, oh they're just attached at the hip. The cutest little puppies. Hi look how many dogs are here. Oh jeez there's no one here. Chill girl, chill. You guys want to go and walk? Yeah? That's what we need to do. I have been doing a walk challenge on Instagram. I've kind of talked about it a little bit but just trying to get 10,000 steps every day for the month of September. Consistency with my Apple Watch has been a thing for me. I think I'm on day five close to 590 of being consistent not missing one single day and only because I was the most inconsistent person that I knew and one day I woke up and said no I don't want to be inconsistent anymore. I'm going to be the most consistent person I know and I just want that to be an encouragement to you. If you are someone that's like me or that was like me you can change that. You just have to wake up and make the decision. It's another day. My kids are home so we're gonna make the Pillsbury cinnamon rolls. Why can't I not use my brain right now? Is this is this a pan? I got a glass pan. Hold on. Where's my brain? It's not firing today. Okay when I move to a new house there's nothing more annoying than figuring out the oven. Do you agree? Because I have burnt or like undercooked every single thing in this oven. I finally got it down. Let's get this open and this is the little hack that I learned. I hate these things. They scare me. Just waiting for it to explode. Keep the sauce in there. Here they are. We're gonna leave them just like this and then one's gonna go right here. Did you hear that? That was very loud. If this is a fail I'm gonna show it to you anyway and then I'm gonna tell you what not to do if I mess this up. Are you done eating? Done. Thank you for bringing your plate. All right let's hide the cords. Can you not even see that? Okay so we're gonna keep the frostings. We got two sets but we're gonna do something else with this as well. I have never done the trick with the heavy whipping cream which I know I'm probably the last to do this. This is part of the trick and then I'm going to um also make some more cream that goes on the top. So what we're gonna do is basically douse this in heavy whipping cream which is so weird to me. Like what? Is that too much? Did I do too much? I think that's too much. I think I gotta scoop some of that out. Okay I poured about half that back. Okay. Do you know what it's gonna look like? No. Do you know what they're gonna look like? These. You know how yummy those are? Do those look good? Yeah. So here's the extra frosting that I'm making. I'm gonna have the recipe right here so you can screenshot. This frosting just tastes so good on cinnamon rolls and then I'm actually going to add a little bit of just one of the containers and this was just an idea I had at the very end. I'm like ah it might taste good like mixing some of the pumpkin icing into this icing and it's such a subtle pumpkin flavor. I knew my kids weren't gonna like it if it was like very in your face pumpkin. So this just made it very subtle and oh my gosh these were the best freaking cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Now listen I put way too much cream. You just need like a little drizzle. So pretend I didn't do that. That was mistake number one. Mistake number two is I totally made this wrong. Oh my gosh I was not looking at the recipe I was trying to copy when I did this. My youngest was using my phone at the time. These were not cooked at all on the inside. I ended up peeling them all off and putting them on a cookie sheet and then baking them for like eight to nine minutes and then they tasted great. So these are unintentional but twice baked cinnamon rolls. I even baked them with the frosting on it because I made a mistake by frosting them before they were done. Anyway they tasted delicious. So don't follow anything that I did in here. Okay just cook them like regular cinnamon rolls. Please if you're using the cream just like barely put any in there. Do not put the whole flipping thing of heavy cream in. But yeah the frosting hack made it really good and then if you just cook them like you're supposed to the first time you're gonna love them. It's on Disney Simon? Oh okay I wasn't sure. Every night I sit down with my two older kids. Are you guys wanting to be in the vlog or no? Yes. I love vlogs. Vlogs. Okay what series are we watching right now? Goosebumps. We always watch something like some sort of series we just finished. Hold on. We went through every single Marvel show there's ever been. Movie, TV show. Then we went through Star Wars. Every single Star Wars movie, Star Wars series. And now that it's Halloween time, we're going through spooky stuff. Well this isn't Goosebumps. Actually we've gotten kind of scared a few times. Like jump scare right? Yeah with the weird person. It's a little jump scary. Ross. Oh and Ross is in it. I'll never know his name. What's his real name? Ross off of Friends. He's the main character. Ross Geller. Ross Geller. I actually have to search that right now. So we've we've also watched all of the Friends seasons. So we just you know we're we're like television connoisseurs. What episode are we on tonight? Uh episode six. Yep okay episode six The Girl Next Door. It's a little spooky. Just warning you.
