Tofu in Makhani Curry Recipe!!

The makhani curry is perhaps one of the most fabled and loved dishes from Indian cuisine. This curry is deeply colored and flavorful with all goodness of cashews and coconut milk. Veganism is about rich flavoured dishes with goodness of veggies and creaminess of cashews.

This delicious Tofu Curry is ready in just 20 minutes with few ingredients! It's a flavorful curry sauce, full of nutrition and flavours.

How can you make tofu taste good?
Tofu tastes best when marinated, but not just with oil. Tofu has a lot of water in it even after you press it. To make tofu flavourful in any of your recipe - marinate it with spices, liquids like lemon, vinegor, soy sauce or sauces of your chioce and recipe you are going to use tofu in.

Tofu is a good source of protein, magnesium, copper, zinc and vitamin B1 and it is the only soya product worth eating.

This gravy is exactly similar to the one typically used for shahi paneer, with the exception, of course, that there is no butter or cream used in this curry recipe here.

This Tofu Curry goes well with steamed rice, chappaties or paranthas. Also, you can replace tofu with meat substitutes, paneer and vegetables like mushrooms or eggplant/brinjal. Since tofu has healthy fats which is full of good plant based protein, so why not to use tofu here.
