What's up guys, welcome back to another video. In today's video, we're gonna be working on the Supra.
This is more in the future. So I already know what's kind of going on and before we actually get into this video
I do want to mention something that I'm not too proud of but at the same time you got to do what you got to
do. We got an inspection report when we bought this house about some trees in the front yard that could possibly cause damage to the
foundation of our home and then while we actually had the tree people come out
they actually found out a couple more things about some other trees in our front yard.
So we actually are gonna be cutting some trees in this video. I'm not supporting tree cutting. I'm absolutely against it
but we got to do what we got to do and at the same time
we'll free up some space in the front yard for some car stuff.
So it's not a complete tragic thing, but at the same time cutting a tree is never a good thing.
Our backyard is full of trees and we're gonna be keeping every single one of them.
I live again in the Sacramento area and over here like we truly embrace trees. Again, we love trees. Don't cut them down.
They supply us with oxygen. I mean God bless them.
But I'm gonna go ahead and go outside real quick and show you guys why exactly we had to cut these bad boys down.
I know this is a super video, but this is more of a disclaimer right before.
So I'm gonna go ahead and show you guys everything that's going on in our front yard.
It's pretty much the finished results. You guys are gonna see what happened throughout the entire video, what happened by front yard.
But let me go ahead and just show you guys what's going on exactly.
So as you guys can see my front yard has never seen so much sunlight. It is what it is.
I mean, I kind of like the shade. I'm not gonna lie. This is a lot of sunlight.
We still have two big trees right there and then these ones are shared with our neighbors right over here.
So as you guys know, we had a tree right there.
We had a tree right here and we had two trees right over there.
You guys are gonna see exactly what happened throughout this video.
But again, these trees had to get cut down because the inspector told us that it's growing underneath the foundation of our home.
So we have to get rid of the roots and we have to get rid of the trees so it doesn't affect our home direct.
Plus that one's super close to our house is actually dropping a lot of things onto the roof.
Even that one is honestly dropping things to the roof and honestly this one is dropping things onto our roof.
This one right over here, I don't know if you guys can tell, we pretty much got rid of some of the roots that were already growing out of here.
But this one was actually going underneath our concrete and it was cracking our concrete, like our driveway completely.
So even if we try to refix this, it's gonna keep cracking over and over because of this tree.
And if we wanted to extend our driveway, we couldn't because this tree would just end up cracking our driveway again.
That's primarily the reason unfortunately that one had to go.
Those two make sense as well. This one really makes sense.
This one, honestly, I didn't really want to cut it. It was right here.
Honestly, it's a good distance away from the house and it's a good distance away from our driveway.
But this one, while the tree people were out here, they were looking at the tree and they were like,
hey, the roots are actually growing above the surface.
And this one, for some reason, is not going deep into the ground.
That being said, over time, if a tree doesn't grow deep into the ground and it just keeps growing on the foundation,
eventually it's not gonna be able to support its weight and it's gonna end up falling.
It could fall on this way, it could fall down this way, or it could even fall down on the house.
So again, these trees unfortunately had to go. I'm not proud of it. I'm not happy about it.
But at the same time, to look at the bright side of it,
now we have a bunch of space in our front yard to actually add some concrete eventually, eventually.
And we still need to actually pull these roots out and stuff like that to be able to do that.
But do not worry, we're keeping these two amazing trees right over there.
All the ones in our backyard, that beautiful one back here.
Again, Sacramento is all about trees.
And all those other trees in our front yard, we're gonna be keeping them.
They look absolutely stunning. And again, God bless for these.
I'm putting this disclaimer in the front of the video,
mainly because, honestly, if somebody else was cutting down trees, I'm like, bro, what are you doing?
Like, especially now, it is not a good time.
We called out the inspectors.
They told us that those two trees had to get cut down.
And then these ones, I mean, they just found issues once they got here.
And they were telling me, hey, I mean, you're gonna have to, you're gonna have to, you know, sort it out eventually.
So do you want to just do it now while we're here?
Or you can always call us back later, but it's gonna cost more.
So I was like, you know what, let's just get it all sorted now.
It really sucks, but this is what they recommended.
And I just went right off of that.
But without further ado, let's go ahead and hop into the video.
So much got done with the Supra, and we also wanted our first drive.
So without further ado, let's hop into the video.
Yes, I'm talking about adding a new vehicle to my insurance.
Yes, you guys heard it.
We're adding this Supra to our insurance.
We're gonna be driving it down to the frame guy for him to actually diagnose the damage.
This has been long awaited.
I've been trying to get this car down to him for so, so, so long.
We finally removed the side skirt.
Nothing should be dangling.
We moved up the sensor and everything.
We got the seatbelts in the car.
We got the airbags fixed.
So now it's at least drivable.
It's safe.
Our seatbelt works.
Everything is good.
And now that we got it on the insurance and we have a one-day moving permit, we can drive it down there.
And we can see what the frame guy thinks about the damage.
You can honestly say, hey, I want you to come back in two weeks, bring a quarter panel, bring a door, bring a side skirt.
They can say like, hey, just come back in two weeks and just bring me a door and a side skirt, which would be absolutely amazing.
Because we already got both those things ordered.
The side skirt did come in.
We're still waiting on the door.
But hey, imagine, imagine, guys, if he says we don't need a new quarter panel.
I'm not a professional.
But honestly, me looking at it as well, I'm thinking there is a chance that we may not need a new quarter panel just because it's not buckled.
It's just a little bent.
Anywhoosles, if we need one, we need one.
I guess we'll find out in a little bit.
Let's head down to our frame guy.
This is our first drive on public roads.
Guys, it rained overnight and I feel a little bit of rain right now.
Hopefully it stops raining because we don't even have a proper door or a window that goes up on that side.
So before we actually hit the freeway, we do have a TPMS light for that rear wheel.
Obviously, that's the wheel with the side of the accident.
I don't think that's some coincidence.
But for some reason, the tire looks perfectly fine.
So let's head down to a gas station and just inflate that tire.
Because the car actually says we're at a low PSI, that leads me to believe that my sensor is not bad.
It just means that probably the tire just needs some air.
Guys, we are actually driving down our street.
I only took it down a block in the back.
That's all I've done, I swear, this entire time.
I hear a little bit of some sound coming through the...
To be expected.
It's driving, guys.
And these are some of the stickiest tires ever.
I was on my side.
Luck was on my side on this car.
New side skirt.
And I have this new, too.
So I have all the parts.
I just wonder if I need a new quarter panel or not.
Yeah, this is good.
There's another one that goes here to here.
Yeah.
Uh, I try, uh, let's see, here, uh...
Bando? Yeah, that's fine.
Yeah.
I try this pitching and the...
And this, too?
Oh, you want me to take that off?
So...
I try inside here.
All right, guys, so I just finished talking with my frame guy.
He told me that he might be able to tackle this next week,
which is a really, really, really good thing.
You guys know with the E92,
it took us three weeks to make an appointment,
possibly even a month to make an appointment on that car.
This car looks like we can get it next week,
which is a huge, huge, huge plus.
And also, he said possibly, possibly,
he's going to try to fix it first.
He said there's a good chance it is fixable
and they can just straight up fix it.
So he's like, let's try that first.
Worst comes to worst,
I'll let you know if we need to order a quarter panel,
which I was on.
Honestly, I'm just happy he's trying.
That being said, too, guys,
we have no lights for any of the suspension or any...
Literally, the car would have no lights
if I just plug in that sensor again,
but I'm just trying to play it safe
and I'm not going to plug in that sensor just again,
just in case anything vibrates over here
and then deploys all the airbags.
Yeah, guys, this car.
Oh my God, I'm so proud of it.
I'm so happy.
This is insane.
And this is the next day, guys.
I decided, you know what?
We should start taking this car apart.
We're literally a week away
from taking it down to the frame shop.
At this point, as of the time
you guys are watching this video,
we are so close to taking it down to the frame shop.
So I went down to Home Depot to get some new tools
because I couldn't get the Supra door handle off
because I needed some kind of thing
for the door handle, whatever.
I want the original door handle
because the paint's amazing on it.
So I went down to Home Depot.
We got a couple of things.
I got this jug for the oil change
just because it'll be easier to put all the oil in that
and then just take that down to AutoZone.
And I decided with the extra water,
I mean, I could have drank it,
but honestly, to give it to the trees, why not?
So anyway, we filled it up with oil
and then we got our new tools from Harbor Freight
that I finally picked up.
And I'm like, okay, let me try these new tools
from Harbor Freight.
Guys, I went all the way down to Harbor Freight,
bought a whole bunch of other stuff
just so I can actually remove this door handle.
It turns out I had this tool the entire time.
I completely forgot I had this tool.
I bought these tools.
I actually need these regardless.
I've always found myself that I need these.
That's why I decided to go ahead and go get them
because every single time I work on a door,
I need the Allen keys.
But this time, apparently, it's the star one.
So anywhoosles, didn't come in handy.
Turns out we have the tool.
At least, thank the Lord, we have the tool.
Let's go ahead and just get this thing out
for those of you guys who are also wondering, it's a T15.
This is probably a good time for me to mention,
if you guys need anything from eBay
that you guys see in the videos,
my eBay store is gonna be linked down below.
I'm gonna be starting to put things on eBay.
You guys can follow me on my eBay page
and any parts that you guys see
that I have extra on my cars that I'm selling,
they're on eBay, and you guys can even submit offers
saying you guys are followers of mine,
and I'll give you guys discounts.
Guys, I cannot believe that this glass is still intact.
Hopefully we can get this glass out of here
and reuse it on our new door, fully intact.
That would be so ideal.
♪ Yes, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again ♪
So yeah, from here on out, guys,
I am using my phone to record,
and I broke my fifth or sixth G7X Mark II.
They just break super easily.
I mean, they drop, and as soon as they drop,
they're just done.
They don't handle more than one drop.
As soon as you drop it accidentally,
I accidentally sneezed,
and I guess I flinched or something,
knocked down the camera.
It is what it is.
So we had to order a new camera.
I was like, you know what?
Instead of buying another G7X,
I want to pretty much raise the quality of my videos.
So I went ahead and picked up another Sony instead of Canon
and one with a removable lens,
so if anything happens and I drop it
and the lens breaks,
we can just remove the lens and replace it.
G7X has an internal lens, and you cannot replace it.
So anywho, we are just taking off
the finishing touches on this car.
We got the door off the car.
We're taking off the gas cap.
Let's vacuum out all the stuff
that I pretty much grinded off the door.
This part's pretty satisfying,
so I'm gonna let you guys watch that real quick.
And at this point, guys, we're just gonna move the seat
and probably just start working
on getting the other side as well.
Again, we need to get this thing ready for the frame shop,
so I'm just gonna do everything that it takes
to get this thing ready,
because, I mean, enough is enough.
We need to get this thing down at the frame shop.
Guys, I just dropped about a G on a new camera,
but we're still waiting on that new camera to get here,
so in the meantime, sorry for the poor quality on my phone,
especially this front-facing camera.
It's pretty bad.
But our door just got delivered
to our local shipping carrier,
so let's go ahead and go cop it.
All right, guys, so we just pulled up.
I've never actually been to a place like this.
This ain't a FedEx.
This isn't a USPS or UPS or anything.
This is called Expo whatever,
so I ordered a door online,
and they told me they won't deliver it to my house,
so I found this place, and they delivered it to this place,
so picking up our super door today,
which I'm super excited about,
and I have no idea if this is a complete door
or a non-complete door.
I'm gonna throw up some pictures right now,
but that's all that I got.
I just saw the front of the door.
It had the door handle.
It had that side piece that we needed,
and I figured, hey, I figured we got everything else,
but imagine, guys, that this is a complete door.
We would have so much extra parts
that we could make so much good money off of,
because super parts right now
are going for some hefty money.
But anyu, we do need to slide this door over
to make some room for the new door.
Electric hiphop music
so now we're back into the inside of the house we got the side skirts off there
we got the billy pants off there we got the door off in there and the side skirt
so pretty much we have everything we need off the car to get it to the frame
shop at this point I don't think I can drive it like that so I'm probably end
up getting it towed to the frame shop on Tuesday hopefully there's no rain
because otherwise we have to bag up the whole car which is gonna suck I'm gonna
take the door there we're gonna take the new side skirt over there and hopefully
everything will get situated and hopefully we don't have to replace the
entire quarter panel because the frame guy told me it looks like it's just the
outer skin it doesn't look like it went in that deep which fingers crossed but
that's the case guys we just scored but also that being said I also forgot I
needed to order a side skirt bracket so that's what this is right here we have
to order it towards the entire piece from front to back but only like a
hundred bucks and I say only mainly because again super parts are so crazy
expensive like I paid for that door $1,200 he had it up for $1,500 the
acceptable offer for $1,200 and everyone else that was around $1,200 to $1,500 was
the bare-bone shell it turns out that our door is complete other than the door
card and it turns out that this one has a keyless entry as well so it's
absolutely perfect I thought I could replace the entire harness it looks like
as long as the sound system is the same on that door as well we might not even
have to do anything other than slapping a door panel on there and getting it painted
which I'm so hyped about that is I'm just hoping that this is complete as
well because we are missing the clips on ours worse comes to worse we have to
go down to Toyota and spend the Toyota tax time because they're taxing like
BMWs now it's crazy yeah this is the main reason we bought the parts right
here looks like it looks like it does come with the actual comfort access
system and it's missing all the clips it is what it is I guess the body shop guys
should have some clips at least test fit this yeah I'm super happy we got this
an extra comfort access module right there these go for about 30 bucks I'm
literally counting every penny at this point there's a little of a budget on
the Supra I bid six grand over budget hoping that it was gonna be a sport
thankfully so far so good and also not to mention it came with the front piece
our front piece is perfectly fine but we got an extra one just for the heck of it
so something else you guys are noticing in this video we are getting our front
yard worked on I'm trying to build our dream front yard maybe because this
house for some reason came with like a 2,000 square footage front yard which
is crazy and I want to use up this space but the trees are getting in the
way and actually two of the trees are growing underneath the foundation of the
home so that's honestly the main reason I want to get the trees cut maybe because
the inspector said I should get those trees cut I'll show you guys those in a
minute I should probably try to throw in a clip right now
but yeah those trees need to get cut because if it goes underneath the
foundation of the home it's gonna start affecting the home itself and that is
obviously gonna be a huge issue in terms of cost and everything so I decided I
want to cut those trees down but also I noticed that there were two trees in the
way to actually getting my car and trailer once we eventually get a trailer
to the backyard and unfortunately those do have to get cut as well and one of
those other two trees are leaving like a lot of tree sap and stuff on the roof
which is actually damaging the roof as well we've got like four or five trees
in the backyard I live in Sacramento trees are everywhere and I'm keeping the
two main trees over there and I'm keeping the two trees over here and I'm
keeping like my four or five trees in the backyard so don't think I'm like a
tree hater or anything like that I'm literally just getting rid of the ones
that are affecting the home because obviously the home costs are very
expensive I cannot afford to replace an entire roof right now other things we've
also done to the house I don't know if you guys can tell is tints this is the
middle of the day and I ended up tinting my front windshield on my house
this was done by RC restyling they actually came out to my house and
actually got this done they also do it for you guys as well so for those of you guys who don't like curtains and
blinds I went with double fives over here single five up there single five over here I think it looks really really really good
if anything I might actually de-tint these two side windows just a little bit more
but I mean other than that honestly I'm really really really happy with this I don't actually have to do
blinds or anything like that especially considering that my cat loves to ruin
the blinds hey baby you know if you guys want to see some home improvements to my
house I'm basically doing little upgrades here and there like I said to
build my dream front yard if you guys want me to keep you guys posted like I
did with today's video the new tints getting the whole front yard redone let
me know down below cuz the ultimate goal is to eventually get some concrete up
there get some bushes some privacy butches and just make this thing look
absolutely insane I can draw it up for you guys to show you guys the vision for
the front yard and maybe you guys can actually give me some tips and ideas for
what we should do for the front yard I didn't think I was gonna do the trees
anytime soon but somebody hit me up recently and he was willing to do it for
way way way cheaper than everywhere else I was getting quotes on people were
quoting me upwards of $3,000 just to cut down four trees which I was like you
know what I know it takes a lot of time but $3,000 on to just cut something and
just remove it rather than like I'm not upgrading my home I'm just like literally
cutting down trees for $3,000 it's insane but these guys let's just say
hooked it up for a way better price I'm super happy with that and that's why
we're getting it done right now but yeah on a different note by the way guys
thank you guys so much Oz ended up reaching out to us because you guys
ended up commenting and blowing up their Instagram he reached out to us and they
sent us out a steering wheel and it's already here like the steering wheels
already here so hopefully gonna be doing a video on that in the upcoming future
um as you guys know I'm trying to be like 30-minute jam-packed videos and in
this video is mostly in particular for the Supra so I'm trying to make sure
that this content everything is mostly related to the Supra I am just I'm
trying new things on the channel I'm trying to see what things you guys
enjoy more so if you guys like more of a jam-packed Supra video than a more of a
jam-packed 328 video at least everything in that video is revolved around what
the thumbnail and title system but as of right now we need to get some things
done on the 328 it needs tires it needs an oil change I haven't an oil change
since I got it the previous owner told me it needs an oil change so we're gonna
go ahead and get the car in the garage just at least do an oil change on it and
possibly go out try to seek some tires for that bad boy and at this point guys
I put everything we need in the trunk for the frame guy I'll put moments for
the extra screws the gas cap the pretty much the the side skirt brackets the
side skirt of the door gonna put it in the trunk of the truck because then we
told the super there anyway so we're gonna have it all with us but yeah now
that we got that all situated I guess it's time to just do the the oil change
for the 328 and guys we are at the end of the video this is nor again in the
future I didn't film an intro or outro because again my camera broke so it is
what it is but I mean hey guys the Supra is ready to be taken down to the shop so
hopefully that should be the next video in terms of the Supra should be getting
repaired I'm happy to have everything came off super super super easy I'm
happy when I look underneath the belly pan and everything on this side nothing
was buckled in terms of the frame honestly it looks like just the skin got
damaged and the skin can easily get fixed that's not a big deal if you guys
are excited to see this Supra come together make sure to smash that like
button and also thank goodness you probably had a chance to do an oil
change on the e92 honestly that thing needed an oil change for God knows how
long I just topped it off with oil the other day it really needed an oil change
so I'm just happy we got that done and I cannot wait to show you guys the new
modifications we have for this 328 we got a bunch of Alcatar goodies as you
guys know we want the BMW M performance shifter that was full of Alcatar now
actually got some e-boots brake knobs and a steering wheel all in Alcatar it's
gonna look super super super sick video coming up on that but without further
ado guys let me know if you guys do like these kind of videos where it's kind of
like a shorter video it's not a lot of 10-minute videos because I don't have to
talk as much you guys can pretty much see what's going on throughout the
entire week so the entire week worth of car stuff I put it all together in one
video and I drop it like once a week maybe twice a week and it's probably
around the 30-minute mark let me know if this is stuff you guys like I'm gonna
go ahead and do this a couple more times again which trying to see how the
algorithm works on YouTube trying to see how you guys actually favor my videos
you guys prefer the daily uploads you guys prefer that every other day you
guys would prefer that once a week I'm just trying new things and it's always
helped to try new things I know a lot of you guys been hitting me up on Instagram
which I love you guys so much a lot of you guys been hitting me up on Instagram
like nor dude you used to upload every single day now I don't even know what to
watch and I'm like I know I know I honestly it pains me as well obviously
I'm not getting paid if I don't upload I want to upload guys but at the same
time just trying some new things we're trying to see what works for us and I'm
just trying to see what can grow us as a channel you know that's the most
important thing ever but without further ado guys we are gonna be doing some home
renovations as well so let me know down below if you guys want to support the
home renovations should I actually start posting out some drawings should you
guys be sending me some pictures and should I be showing you guys the process
of our front yard getting built possibly even the backyard this is gonna be over
time it's gonna be a probably a one-year project maybe even a two-year project
mainly because I don't know if you guys know but concrete costs a lot just these
two driveways right here alone in concrete would cost about $16,000 $16,000
for two you know it's crazy yeah let me know if you guys want me to keep you
guys posted on that kind of stuff without further ado I love y'all so much
remember to stay healthy and I'll see you on the next one. Peace out!
