
How to make MOCHI (Japanese rice cake/Daifuku-mochi) 〜大福もち〜 | easy Japanese home cooking recipe

Today I'll be making Mochi (in Japan, it's called Daifuku-mochi) with strawberries, a typical Japanese sweets. It is very delicious and actually not very difficult, it can be made under 30 min. Please try for yourself!!
Ingredients for Mochi (8 pieces)
Mochiko/Glutinous rice flower (sweet rice flour) 100 g
Sugar 40 g
Water 140 ml
Anko (red bean paste) 20-40 g*
Strawberries (optional) 8
*depending on whether to use strawberries or other fruits.
