"Sacred Love" - Falun Dafa Inspired Music

The lyrics in ”Sacred Love" speaks of the Creator’s boundless love for humanity and His profound compassion, which seeks to offer salvation to all sentient beings.

In the illusion of our existence on Earth, we are often blind to the true nature of reality. Life here can be seen as a trial each person must endure, with the purpose of, through adversities, refine one’s heart and cultivate a purer, truer, and more elevated character, in order to return to one’s original, true being.

Writing this piece I was inspired by several of the latest lectures, given by the founder of Falun Dafa Mr. Li Hongzhi, in particular one called ”Why Save Sentient Beings” which can be read here: https://en.minghui.org/html/articles/2023/4/18/208122.html


The ”Sacred Love" composition follows an ABCA’ structure, where each section presents a new theme, and the final section reprises the opening material with slight variation. 


My sincere appreciation goes to Barry Fitzgerald, whose heartfelt singing brought life and depth to the essence of the song.

I also warmly thank Yi Zhang for her thoughtful and poetic translation of the lyrics into Chinese, which beautifully preserves the spirit.
