Hello all you freedom-loving people.
James Comey was charged again over
an alleged leak of national defense information
hours after a judge ruled his daughter was unlawfully fired.
Flavio Bolsonaro is reportedly heading
for the U.S. after missing a deadline to turn in his passport.
And finally, perhaps the strangest of all,
we have alien bodies and egg-shaped craft
and silent black triangles are flying over secret military sites.
Okay, let's get into it.
Former FBI Director James Comey has
been charged for a third time.
The DOJ has alleged that he leaked a sensitive national
security document to the New York Times in October of 2016.
The allegation concerns a New York Times story
that was related to a secret court order
that required Yahoo to scan emails for messages
that were potentially linked to a foreign terrorist organization.
The story cited two government officials
who spoke on the condition of anonymity about the order
from a judge on the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court,
the FISA Court, that Yahoo was barred from publicly disclosing.
Federal prosecutors filed a two-count criminal information document
in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
The document alleges
that Comey communicated national defense information and he conspired
with others to unlawfully disclose it.
Prosecutors allege that Comey directed FBI employees to
contact the reporter in order
to correct information in an earlier Reuters report
and that the effort resulted in the unauthorized disclosure
of national defense information that
have appeared in the New York Times,
but Comey denied any wrongdoing in an Instagram post
yesterday. He called the latest action
an appalling abuse of the Department of Justice.
Comey said, nothing's changed with me.
I'm still innocent. I'm not afraid of these people and I
still believe in the independent federal judiciary.
The allegations were made public in court records
on October 26th and Comey's lawyers immediately moved
to dismiss the criminal indictment that
was filed by the Justice Department.
They argued that the filing was legally invalid and it came
after the legal time limit had passed.
Charges brought under the Espionage Act generally must
be filed within 10 years of the date that the alleged conduct occurred.
But the prosecutors
filed the charges under seal on October 5th,
which is exactly 10 years after the New York
Times story was published.
Even so, Comey's lawyers moved to dismiss the case and to unseal
the proceedings. The Justice Department said
that it had filed a criminal information to extend the
statute of limitations for charges in the case.
Also, a department spokesperson said filing a
criminal information to toll the statute
of limitations is a widely recognized practice
in federal court and has been approved
by multiple circuit courts of appeals. This is an ongoing
criminal investigation and we will not comment further.
District Judge Trevor McFadden held an
emergency closed door hearing on October 9th.
He granted the request to unseal the case but he has
not ruled on Comey's motion to dismiss.
The allegation was previously investigated by
prosecutor John Durham according to a recent court filing
of Comey's attorneys Durham wrote
a classified memo in December of 2018 recommending
no criminal charges against anyone in connection
with the disclosure in January of 2019
the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia
opened a second investigation of the same manner under
the code name Tropical Vortex but that
investigation was closed without any charges filed in February of 2020.
And two other criminal
cases involving Comey are currently pending in federal court.
In September of 2025, Comey was
indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of lying to Congress
and obstructing congressional
proceedings. Comey pled not guilty, and two months later,
a district judge in Virginia dismissed the
case, ruling that the prosecutor
who brought it had not been lawfully appointed. The government
filed an appeal though and the court of appeals
for the Fourth Circuit heard arguments from both
sides last month but has not issued a ruling yet Comey
is also facing a separate criminal case
in North Carolina where he was indicted in April
of this year on charges that he allegedly
threatened President Trump the incident stems
from a photo that he posted on Instagram showing
seashells arranged to spell out 8647.
86 means to eliminate or to get rid of someone.
In certain contexts, the term is used as a euphemism for murder.
And the number 47 is
interpreted as being a reference to President Trump,
since he is the 47th president of the
United States. But Comey denied any wrongdoing,
saying that he did not know what the numbers meant.
and he also asked a North Carolina court to dismiss
the lawsuit he argued that this case is a prime
example of retaliatory and selective prosecution
but the DOJ has denied that the charges against
Comey are politically motivated
and the new charges against Comey were unsealed just hours
after a federal judge in New York ruled
that the Trump administration had unlawfully fired
Comey's daughter Maureen Comey.
You may remember in July of 2025 Maureen Comey was abruptly fired
by the DOJ. Maureen is a former federal prosecutor
in her almost 10 years of service in the U.S.
Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
She had worked on several high-profile
cases including the prosecution of Sean Diddy Combs,
former Senator Bob Menendez and Jeffrey
Epstein and his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell.
Comey sued in September of 2025, two months after
being fired, alleging that her firing without cause,
without advance notice, and without an
opportunity to contest it was unlawful and unconstitutional.
The suit says defendants
did not identify any cause or provide Ms. Comey any due process
for her removal. She simply received
an email with an attachment stating that she
was being terminated pursuant to Article 2 of the
United States Constitution and the laws of the United States.
According to the suit, then interim
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton came
to see Comey shortly after she learned of her firing. When asked why
she was being terminated, Clayton said,
all I can say is it came from Washington. I can't tell you
anything else. The Justice Department later said
in a court filing that she was removed at the
direction of then Attorney General Pam Bondi.
Judge Jesse M. Furman of the District Court for
the Southern District of New York ruled yesterday
that Maureen Comey was unlawfully terminated.
Furman found that the firing of Ms. Comey violated
the Constitution's separation of powers
and her Fifth Amendment due process and statutory rights.
Justice officials said, though, that the termination
which was authorized by the Attorney General at the time
was legal under the Civil Service Reform Act.
That act says in part that assistant U.S. attorneys
are subject to removal by the Attorney General.
The government also told the court that laws
that limit the firing of such prosecutors
unconstitutionally intrude on the president's power vested
by Article 2. Furman rejected that
position, though. He said that the law authorizes
the attorney general to remove assistant U.S.
attorneys, but Congress also allows removals only
for such cause as will promote the efficiency of
the service. He further wrote that the government's assertion
that it can fire career prosecutors at
will would unsettle the very equilibrium established
by this nation's constitutional
system. The judge granted Comey back pay,
effective from the date of her termination
through December 20, 2025, when she began a new job.
A spokesperson for the Justice Department
said that it disagrees with this decision
and will appeal in due course. Comey's lawyers commented
saying this hard-earned victory belongs to Ms. Comey,
to all civil servants, and to all fighting
for the rule of law. Today,
Brazilian Senator Flavio Bolsonaro reportedly left Brazil for the
United States. According to the Brazilian news website Metrópoles,
allies say that he was expected
to land in Florida this afternoon
and he was planning to request political asylum. The outlet
also reported that the Trump administration has been informed.
Allies told the newspaper
Flóra de Espírito that the escape plan was organized
and enabled by a lawyer who was
close to the Bolsonaro family.
And CNN Brazil reported that he fled in the early hours of this
morning with his wife and two daughters.
Those reports followed a day of conflicting claims
about where he was. The Argentine outlet InfoBay reported
that he went to Argentina last night
where he was expected to board a private jet
to the U.S. but the plane did not take off. However,
his campaign manager
and close ally Senator Rogério Moreno refuted that report and Argentine
authorities also denied that Bolsonaro entered the country.
Bolsonaro has not been seen since
yesterday and he also missed an 11 a.m deadline
to surrender his passport to the federal police
the supreme court justice reportedly canceled
that passport just minutes after Lula was declared the
winner that ruling is tied to a case where police
are investigating Bolsonaro's alleged involvement
in a money laundering scheme involving betting companies
but Bolsonaro has held Italian
citizenship since 2023, and he reportedly has an Italian passport.
Recently, his brother,
former Congressman Eduardo Bolsonaro,
who is in self-imposed exile in the U.S., said that Flavio
should leave Brazil if he lost.
His father, former President Jair Bolsonaro, remains under
house arrest in Brazil.
In response to the reports of Bolsonaro's leave, lawmakers from Lula's
Workers Party asked the Supreme Court to order Bolsonaro's arrest
and to place his name on
Interpol's red notice list.
Then today, President Trump approved allowing Flavio Bolsonaro to enter
the U.S. State Department official says
defeated Brazilian presidential candidate
Flavio Bolsonaro and his family will be granted U.S. visas.
Bolsonaro lost to incumbent Brazilian
President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva
in a hotly contested race last weekend that
bucked a trend of conservative electoral results in Latin America.
Bolsonaro had been under
investigation for corruption,
money laundering and tax evasion in Brazil. He was ordered to
surrender his passport after the election.
We're told he's left the country, but his current
whereabouts are unclear.
Meanwhile, Lula's reelection sent Brazil's market to their
sharpest losses in years yesterday,
reversing recent bets that the right would rise to power.
Brazil's currency, the real,
tumbled more than 11% against the dollar in early trading,
while the benchmark Bovespa index closed down 13.9%,
which was its largest daily drop since
March of 2020. Then,
trading was halted for 30 minutes after the index fell 10%,
percent triggering the market circuit breakers
and even though the sell-off was paused today
the markets have won back only a small part
of these losses with real trading at around 5.31
per dollar also the Bovespa opened higher
but it couldn't hold on and by early afternoon it was
even down slightly from yesterday's close
but Lula's government downplayed the turmoil as a
temporary repositioning by investors,
and they pledged to maintain fiscal responsibility.
Investors are now watching whether
his administration can deliver a credible
fiscal adjustment while preserving social spending and investment.
They are also watching
to see who he picks for key economic posts,
including finance minister. Last Tuesday,
federal law enforcement raided several
adult daycare centers in New York City,
and this led to the discovery of another case of illegal check cashing
and it revealed the
relationship between adult daycare center operators and cash flow.
Shu Fang Cheng of New York was
arrested yesterday on charges
of providing illegal check cashing services. According to court
documents, Cheng was an owner
of a New York convenience store that provided unlicensed
check cashing services to at least three individuals,
including an adult daycare center
owner and an undercover law enforcement agent.
Cheng directed that checks be deposited in
business bank accounts that were held by various companies
and controlled by others,
and she provided cash to her customers for a 2 to 3 percent fee.
From March of 2025 through July
2026 Cheng allegedly participated
in providing over 1.1 million dollars in cash to her customers
in an interview with Epoch Times
and an adult daycare center operator who wished to remain
anonymous analyzed the logic behind underground financial services
and the role that cash plays
in the adult daycare centers operations
the operator cited a hypothetical scenario to
encourage seniors to check in at the adult daycare centers
and to enable the center to
bill the government for more per-person subsidies,
some unscrupulous operators distribute cash to the
elderly. For example,
the government gives the adult daycare center $1,000 per month for each
senior that attends,
and then the adult daycare center provides $500 in cash to each elderly
person. If cash were distributed to 100 elderly people each month,
it would require approximately
$50,000 per month in cash.
Adult daycare centers report on the care that they provide to the
elderly, and the government then transfers funds to them.
Although these centers have money in
their accounts, they cannot withdraw large sums
of cash directly to distribute it to the elderly.
therefore they need a way to quickly convert checks
into cash this is when underground check
cashing channels such as the convenience store owner now come
in handy first the adult daycare
center writes a check in its own name
and gives it to the store owner in the second step the
convenience store owner does not deposit
the check directly into the store's account instead
he or she deposits it into a bank account of a trading company
or wholesaler with whom he or she
has a close relationship. Then they withdraw the cash,
deduct a two to three percent processing fee
and return the cash to the adult daycare center.
The third step is the adult daycare center takes
the cash to distribute to the elderly
while balancing the books with fictitious purchases
such as stationary chairs and recreational supplies.
Through this elaborate scheme,
public funds originally intended for senior welfare
were transformed into cash kickbacks
that could be distributed privately.
Under the guise of cashing underground checks and fake purchases,
these funds were used to attract more seniors to act as frontmen
and to claim additional government benefits.
In April, the DOJ established
a dedicated fraud division to fully investigate
and prosecute fraud schemes that are targeting the American public.
New York is facing intense pressure from the federal government to
crack down on alleged Medicaid fraud involving adult daycare centers.
Currently, there are approximately 400 licensed
adult daycare centers in New York State
that are providing social activities,
personal care, and nutritional services
to about 45,000 seniors statewide.
The state government's annual budget
for this program amounts to approximately $500 million.
In the face of increasingly stringent scrutiny,
federal officials are closely monitoring whether certain organizations
are allegedly reporting false services
that were never actually provided.
Miminaw, as the administrator of the Centers for Medicare
and Medicaid Services,
recently requested that New York State submit
a corrective action plan within 30 days,
clearly outlining how it will strengthen oversight of services provided
and strictly hold them accountable for improper billing.
Government officials in the US
and the UK have recently released new details on unidentified
objects. Let's start with the latest batch
of declassified UFO files from the Trump administration.
This is the seventh batch that has been released so far.
It's also the smallest batch with only
28 files added and this brings the government's UAP archive
to 478 files. Among those files
are reports of mysterious black triangles
that were spotted over secret U.S. military sites.
Those objects were seen
on at least three separate occasions over the past year,
and they were reportedly reaching speeds
of up to 1,800 miles per hour without leaving
any vapor trails behind.
In an FBI report, observers noted that the objects covered about
1.5 miles in just three seconds
which is how that 1800 mile per hour figure was reached. The
triangles made no sound and they showed no exhaust
and on thermal scans they gave off a consistent
heat signature across the entire object.
That matters because an airplane or drone would
normally show a stronger heat signature around certain spots like
the engine. So where have
these objects shown up.
They have appeared over top secret sites where the government tests new
technology and the sightings have sparked national security concerns.
This is because of the advanced
technology that the objects appear to use
and because of the location that they were sighted
over. But officials have ruled out the possibility
that the objects were American technology.
According to the files, there is skepticism
that they belong to a foreign power. This is because
no known country has those advanced technical capabilities.
One of the most detailed descriptions
came from a memorandum that was prepared
by the All Domain Anomaly Resolution Office, or AERO,
at the Department of War.
The memo documented AERO's debriefing of two federal special agents
regarding sightings at a sensitive national security site
in the western United States
over two days in 2026.
The memo also included a corroborating statement from a third official
who was stationed at a separate observation post,
and it was that third official who first picked
up the object on long-range thermal equipment
as the object crossed a ridgeline. He then radioed
the other two agents. They described a matte black triangle
with an estimated wingspan of 13 to 15
feet and with a thickness of only about one to two feet.
The craft rose straight up for about
10 seconds and it climbed two to three hundred feet above
the ridgeline without tilting or
wobbling. Then it reportedly stopped instantly
and it hovered in place for about 20 seconds
and from that hover it shifted directly
into high speed horizontal flight. The craft then banked
and it dropped into a canyon in just two to three seconds,
moving at speeds similar to a fighter jet.
But the memo does note that no instrumented speed measurement
was taken at the time.
And when it comes to its appearance,
the memo described a smooth, seamless surface
with no visible engine openings, no air intakes,
and no control surfaces or cockpit.
And these agents were not inexperienced observers.
both have extensive experience with unmanned aerial systems
and they noted that even a
conventional drone at that distance would have been clearly audible
but the craft reportedly
stayed completely silent the next morning a ground survey
of the canyon found no wreckage no ground
scarring and no vegetation damage Arrow said
that the incident warrants further investigation
because the object's reported shape
and movement closely matches other incidents in the Western
United States region but Arrow stressed
that the file reached no conclusions about the object's
nature or origin and that the witness descriptions reflect
their own interpretations now if black
triangles weren't strange enough the files
also head to Utah near the famous Skinwalker Ranch
The 512-acre Skinwalker Ranch was featured
on a popular History Channel reality show.
The ranch is famously said to be a hotspot for UFO sightings,
animal mutilations, and unexplained paranormal phenomena.
In Navajo culture, a Skinwalker is a harmful,
malevolent witch that can disguise itself as an animal.
Among the documents in the 60-page report that is titled
Utah Ranch Investigation
which details accounts of alleged skinwalkers in the area. A local Utah
task force was first formed to look into residents reports
of unusual creatures around a property
near Fort Duchesne which is close to the Skinwalker Ranch.
Because the region was already known for
alleged paranormal activity,
a Pentagon program brought in a private contractor. That contractor
Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies carried out
the government-funded investigation in March
and April of 2010 in Utah's Uinta Basin.
Investigators interviewed more than 25 eyewitnesses.
They included multiple local police officers,
the director of the local fish and wildlife office,
11 Native Americans, and 15 members of the Mormon church.
All of them described first-hand
encounters with a skinwalker.
Witnesses described the creature as standing upright with black and
gray fur. One reported creature was estimated to be about six feet tall
and roughly 250 pounds
with a head like a German shepherd's but with a more human-like nose.
People on the property also
described a black shadowy figure as well
as dog-like creatures that were running on two legs,
little people, prehistoric birds, and a maggot about eight feet long.
But the most concrete
evidence came from one resident
who said that his dogs chased a skinwalker through a barbed wire
fence. He said that the creature moved as fast as a shooting star
and that it repeatedly ran into
the fence and let out unnatural howls.
Then nearby coyotes began howling back. So that fence
left investigators with something that they could actually test.
They recovered hair samples that
were caught on the barbs and they sent them for DNA testing.
But the hair matched the DNA of a
domestic dog living on the property
and other samples matched raccoon DNA. So in the end,
the report provided no confirmation that skinwalkers exist.
And the Pentagon said that
they cannot make a definitive determination
on what the witnesses actually saw. And the recent
UFO files also included an eyewitness account
of the suspected 1947 Roswell crash that described
alien bodies and an egg-shaped craft.
The account came from a 2002 affidavit that was believed to
have been provided by Walt Haught,
the former public information officer at Roswell Air Base.
Haught said that in July of 1947,
officials passed around wreckage from a nearby ranch,
including paper-thin
but extremely strong material that no one could identify.
He also said that he was taken to a heavily guarded hangar,
where he saw an egg-shaped metallic object with no windows,
no wings, and no landing gear.
According to Haught,
he also saw a couple of bodies under a canvas tarp with larger than
normal heads that were about the size of a 10-year-old child.
He said that he was convinced
that he had seen a craft and its crew that were from outer space.
But at the time,
the military explained the wreckage as a weather balloon.
Roswell researcher Paul Simonis,
who is a Roswell UFO tour operator and researcher,
said that none of this is new and that people
have been debating it for decades, according to Simonis.
The affidavit was first published in 2007
after Hott's death, and it has since appeared
in at least three books on the Roswell incident.
Now, let's discuss the close call over England,
where a British airway passenger jet came within
yards of colliding with an unidentified object at 5,800 feet.
Recently, a report from the UK
Airprox board revealed that the incident happened on June 24th,
shortly after the Boeing 777 took
off from London's Heathrow Airport for New York.
There were 256 passengers on board. The plane was
climbing towards 6,000 feet
when the pilot said that a shiny silver object passed in the opposite
direction. The pilot said that the object was moving very fast
and it came very close to the
right wing passing within 50 feet above the plane.
The pilot then contacted air traffic control and
reported that a drone had just flown over the right wing
but when the controller asked about
its size the pilot said that it was about as big as four toasters.
Then the plane continued to New
York and the UK Airprox board launched an official investigation.
Then the board said
that based on the reported altitude and description,
they were unable to determine
what the object actually was.
The board found that luck had played a major part in the outcome
or that a definite risk of collision had existed.
In response, a British Airways spokesperson said
that the airline takes these matters extremely seriously.
He added that their pilots report
such incidents so authorities can investigate
and take appropriate action. And this was not
an isolated case. In June,
a pilot flying an Airbus into Heathrow Airport reportedly ducked
when his plane almost came in within yards of a dark,
unidentified object. In February,
a pilot with Britain's Royal Air Force,
was reportedly shocked when an unidentified
object flew past during fueling.
