This makes the Atlanta Hawks unstoppable. Of course, tonight they take on the Indiana Pacers in their third preseason game. And Dyson Daniels is really looking to make an extreme jump this season, upcoming season. And this will make the Atlanta Hawks unstoppable. He is already an extremely good defender, a really, really good defender for the Atlanta Hawks. But one thing that he is definitely going to be tested on tonight, of course, is his shooting and Dyson Daniels. I feel once he gets that together, once that comes together, I do believe that he will be a force to be reckoned with. Just to be completely honest, he's already come up. Dyson Daniels is facing a shooting test, and I do believe that I think he's going to step up. Of course, Dyson Daniels is an effective player, period, of course. defensively he definitely does his job uh and the Atlanta Hawks are able to use him against other teams number one player or their number one offensive option of course it feels great uh as a you know as a fan to know that okay we got somebody that we can throw at him if we're playing against um the Thunder we've got Dyson Daniels going up against SGA we already have it set up We already know. Now, in all honesty, you know, these last, what, I think just so far throughout this preseason, actually the last game, of course, last game the Hawks took on the San Antonio Spurs. They got the win versus the San Antonio Spurs. That was really good. But Daniels, of course, he gave us 13 points, 11 rebounds in that win. So, of course, that was really good. But the shooting was still in question. He only went one for seven for three, and that's really a crossover. all games in the preseason, okay, so the last two games of the preseason, he's only hit about one for seven, so of course, tonight versus Indiana, I think this will be a good opportunity for him to prove that, now, of course, this will be interesting, given what Indiana might plan on doing, okay, this is interesting, given what Indiana might plan on doing to Dyson Daniels, whether, and I don't even think they're going to specifically zero in on Dyson Daniels offensively, but I do find it interesting as to how teams plan on guarding him and in all honesty Dyson Daniels is much more than just his shot I think he's very creative offensively I just feel like I don't know last year just didn't seem right because the year prior uh I've seen Dyson Daniels hit open threes slash to the bucket things of that sort so of course I I've seen different now you can see it here with Dyson Daniels strength of course um uh yeah two steals per game you know what I mean he's average he's still averaging two steals uh I think he averages unfortunately 18 percent from the three so that's definitely not good um and of course you can see even in his shot selection or whatnot uh three I think he's up by 3.3 um uh what three percent assist to turnover ratio I gotta I gotta get down on that but uh as you guys can see even with his shot uh charts you can see the where Dyson Daniels struggle it is his shooting now granted near the basket again he does a lot of cutting he does a lot of moving so he definitely can uh still get to the basket and make some shots aggression is the key aggression still matters in this in this case I do believe aggression you know still matters in this case because Dyson Daniels is effective when he makes this happen and this of course come from Antoine Willis again Daniels should be commended for his aggression and I do agree that because his aggression is the reason why you might have situations where a team member may be able to get the breakout steal and and flush it for two points you know unattested down you know down on the other side he's the reason why uh someone's bet some team's best player uh is forced into a a no-win situation they have to force up an ugly shot he is the reason and so I think his aggression definitely still matters and I do also believe that that can translate into the offense of course Dyson Daniels definitely has to do uh his just do in order to um make that happen he's got to get better on the offensive end he's definitely got to get better shooting again um yeah again we've got uh the pacers tonight after the pacers i think what October 12th we have uh the Thunder Mavericks and i think the 21st is the opening game or the first game of the season taking on the Orlando Magic so we definitely want to make sure that uh we keep it yeah we keep it locked here at Hawks Digest because we'll definitely keep you guys informed uh when it comes to Dyson Daniels and you know the Hawks and things of that such now uh how much space does Indiana give Dyson Daniels because again i pointed out earlier i'm intrigued to see what happens with Indiana how do they plan on playing him and again this is just the preseason so i don't expect there to be full-on dress rehearsal um type defense or this is what we're going to do and this is indicative of what's going to be happening for the rest of the season no but again i'm interested to see for one what does uh the Pacers tonight intend on doing with Dyson Daniels but at the same time what is Dyson Daniels going to do to uh take advantage of whatever it is that they give him i mean they might put their uh their big man on him is he gonna shoot past him uh is Dyson Daniels gonna move without the ball effectively you know does Dyson Daniels take uh clean catch and shoots you know is he gonna take those chances uh does he move without the ball again again I just said that how does he move without the ball I think can definitely point us to what his offensive production can be um now again he adds more value than just his jumper I can say that but it definitely does help if he you know gets that together again I think Dyson Daniels adds value with you know without it but at the same time It definitely can help when he is on, when he's able to make those shots, when he's able to do those things. Now, Dyson Daniels, his history versus Indiana, again, he averages about five points more against Indiana. And I think he averages about one less assist. But all in all, I think that's pretty good. Sixteen points versus Indiana, five assists. But again, this is the preseason. So I don't expect for him to be doing too much per se, because, again, this is only, you know, the third preseason game of the season so far. I do feel as though this is definitely an opportunity to see where he is. Dyson Daniels, if he can effectively get better, if he can effectively get better, if he can get his shot. because 18% from the field is just really not good. But, of course, 18% from the three, and this is a league where teams can live off of a three-pointer. I think getting Dyson Daniels together when it comes to the three-pointer definitely will make things a lot better for the Atlanta Hawks just in general. I think they can definitely get things going in a positive way. You can definitely help out a lot of your teammates on the offensive end. Now, tonight, I would assume C.J. McCollum is back in the lineup. But, of course, this is what we're looking at, you know, putting our main five guys out. And, again, I want to say that this is Indiana's as well. So, again, this is still the dress rehearsal. This is still the preseason. But also, too, I just want to point out that all these cool new gadgets, man, And make sure that y'all stay tuned because this is so much we're going to be putting out to you guys. But sticking to just the moment right here, sticking to tonight, sticking to Dyson Daniels. Tonight, I do expect for the Atlanta Hawks to start pressing more, start putting their guys out more, getting some things going. uh but all in all i think in the grand scheme of things if Dyson Daniels can effectively improve his shot uh and also be a little more aggressive with shooting you know catch and shoot situations uh again i do not find there to be an issue with him finishing around the basket Dyson Daniels is a bit of a slasher he will cut to the basket if need be in order to make some type of offensive production but i think around the three is definitely something he needs to effectively change i think his shot needs to open up and once he does that the Atlanta Hawks can find themselves in a really really good position because uh of course the Eastern Conference is definitely uh going to be stacked this year the Eastern Conference is definitely going to be stacked this year make sure that you guys uh keep it locked here at Hawks Digest we keep you guys completely informed and up to date with the Atlanta Hawks.
