Turning toward discomfort with compassion. Welcome to the final exploration with Aversion. We have been meeting discomfort in many forms: Tension in the body, irritation in the mind, moments of judgment, resistance, and pushing away.

Today, we bring it all home—into the heart because aversion isn’t just a reaction. It’s often a form of pain signaling to you that something inside feels overwhelmed, unprotected, or unheard.

What would happen if, just for a moment, you didn’t try to get rid of it?
What if you turned toward the resistance with compassion?

Not to indulge it or to fuel it but to see it clearly.

You could ask: What does this part of me need?
Can I hold this moment with a little warmth?

We’re not trying to force love or fix anything. We’re just creating space for even the uncomfortable to belong.

If discomfort is present in the form of tightness, doubt, or fatigue—see if you can soften your attitude toward it.

Don't try to fix it, just try to soften. You are allowed to be here, just as you are.
I hope this was helpful,
Leia
