MAJOR Knicks Trade Incoming - HUGE Knicks trade Update...
Oct 15, 2026
A major New York Knicks trade is incoming,
as the Knicks have clearly seen a player who
they will be adding to the team, but it does cost a trade,
and now we even have a destination
for Pacôme Dadié, who has been on the outs for the Knicks,
so the Knicks not only can
bring in James Wiseman,
which is just feeling more and more inevitable that they are going
to do, regardless if they're able to get rid of Dadié
or not, so they can add a second
player Wiseman is player number one on this team 100%
who they are going to add to that 14th roster
spot however the Knicks they have specifically Leon Rose
their president has long been in love
with the idea of having Bruce Brown on this team Brown
is now on the team but the Knicks need a
roster spot for him
and they will be making a move to do just that in the form of moving on
Pacôme Dadié and now we even have a team ready
to trade for him just like we have a channel that
you should be ready to subscribe to because,
guys, 66% of viewers' watches are not yet
subscribed.
It's completely free.
We got videos every single day
on the New York Knicks and YouTube Shorts.
We're giving you so much content
for your one-stop shop for Knicks news.
And right now, the news is that we've heard all
this talk about a Pacôme Dadié trade.
The Knicks wanted to add two veterans,
and if they trade Pacôme Dadié's contract away, they
can afford to make two veteran minimum signings.
And now, we just got the biggest update we have gotten on Dadié.
And guys, here's the thing right now when we look at Pacôme
His trade will help the Knicks keep Bruce Brown,
and especially now that the Knicks have
a spot for Dadié to be traded to,
this really does make it as real as it's ever gotten.
It was mentioned by James Edwards
that it's possible the Knicks keep both the center
and Bruce Brown if they're able to pull off
a trade between now and the start of the season
for Dadié.
Dadié currently, he is towards the bottom
of the amount of money the Knicks make,
but still makes more than some key guys who are in the rotation.
Guys like Mohamed Diouara, Jordan Clarkson, Andre Drummond, Tyler Cole,
all guys who are ahead of Dadié on the depth chart.
And Dadié, he's going to get $5.37 million next year,
which is on a team option, one the Knicks would never accept.
But still, that $3 million that he's making, freeing that up,
it means the Knicks can also sign Bruce Brown.
And we have a team for that in the Memphis Grizzlies
because of a trade that they made around the trade deadline
that set the Knicks up perfectly for this
It also sets the Knicks up for continued success.
They have the fourth-best chance to win the NBA championship this year,
having a 10% chance on Calci to do so.
And thank you to Calci for sponsoring today's video, guys.
On Calci, you're trading directly against other users,
not the house like traditional sportsbooks.
You're buying yes or no contracts

going back-to-back, being the first thing
to do so since the Golden State Warriors.
And guys, if you do trade $25 on it,
you can get a max payout of $261,
and I mentioned $25 because if you are interested in trying out
Calci, click the link in our description

ci. Use promo code DIGESTNBA so you can get $55
when you trade your first $25. It's a great
deal for you. It helps the channel out a ton,
and a great deal for the Knicks. It is moving on from
Pacôme Dadié. Now, I was a Pacôme Dadié fan, and I still am.
I'm obviously going to root for Pacôme,
and he always will hold a special place in my heart.
He was on this championship team.
he I mean he's loved by his teammates
as well you can tell Mikal Bridges wearing the Dadié jersey
but overall he makes too much money
and the Knicks they want to move on so they can sign two veteran
minimum deals right now
as we could see they're 3.3 million dollars away from the second apron
that is enough to sign a veteran minimum contract
for around three million dollars however when they
get rid of Pacôme's three million
then all of a sudden you got 6.3 million the Knicks can afford
two of those deals and it really does change how
the Knicks get to really work things out which is
such a big deal for them especially just
when we look at after the move it would be 6.3 mil
it just works well and the Memphis Grizzlies they're
the team that would afford this
why because they have a 29.8 million dollar trade exception
from trading away Jaren Jackson Jr. to
the Utah Jazz. Because they made that move,
now they can afford Pacome Doty Eight in the Knicks. Now,
they would not get value for him.
It's been made very clear that Pacome Doty Eight does not have
value. But if the Knicks trade a second-round pick,
they'd effectively be trading a second-rounder
and Pacome for a man who helped the Denver Nuggets win
the 2023 NBA Finals and has consistently been
a good player. I mean, overall, Bruce Brown is still very, very good.
I mean, he put up eight
points per game last year he played in 82 games as well
which is always good to see just just how
good he really has been and he's still
a good defender I mean the Knicks like him he's been
playing well in preseason as well
which certainly has been a nice boost and overall you do have to
like what we're seeing out of Brown so far
because he really is someone who he plays good defense he
can guard a point guard a shooting guard
a small forward some power forwards even and also he just
does everything well like he's just one of those guys
who does everything you want to see out of
him I mean overall eight points
per game last year four rebounds two assists played 24 minutes of
action in Denver and shot 38.5 percent from three
also is getting an offensive rebound per game
he's very much of that Josh Hart mold
and the Knicks they like guys like that because Brown's
just a winner he's also making an absurd face in this photo
which is funny but um overall he's the
type of guy that just helps a team win games
that's what he does he is a winner he doesn't
play one position he just plays whatever you need him to play
and he'll get the job done the Knicks
they wouldn't use Brown in a big role that's the thing
but they would use Brown the way that they
just don't use Dottie, so it's obviously a win
for a team that wants people to have 15 deep
one thing that happened with the Knicks in 2024 back
when Tibbs was coaching when they lost in
the conference finals to the Indiana Pacers one
of the things the Knicks were very clear about is
they did not trust their full roster they did
not trust guys on the back end to really step in and
play a big role they wanted
to do that and they added more veteran help to do exactly that instead
of having Cameron Payne they had Jordan Clarkson they just brought
in more talent as well overall
they had more guys they could trust they trusted 12 13 guys
on the roster and they used a lot of
different matchups even in the playoffs
so we know this team absolutely wants to have as much
versatility and as much useful players as possible
so they can also rest their starters a good amount
so those guys who were they're all coming off
a short offseason winning the NBA finals I mean
outside of like Drummond and Bruce Brown both
of them were in the playoffs Drummond obviously the
Knicks beat in the playoffs
but like you know the Knicks played until mid-June and most teams don't
it's only the Knicks and the Spurs that did
so it's one of those situations where right now you
want guys like Jalen Brunson McHale OG Josh Cat
you want them all getting ample amounts of rest
I don't want to see and this is wishful thinking
and it won't happen I don't want to see any of
them averaging over 30 minutes per game for the first month
and a half of the season and they're
going to and Casey Smith the Knicks head
of the Knicks medical guy he's going to work this out
well Casey Smith is absolutely incredible
at his job it's why the Knicks medical staff did win the
award for the best training staff in basketball this year
and we saw it knock on wood but they
were healthy and frankly is one of the reasons why they won
the one thing that I will never deny
is that like everyone else the Knicks did have some luck involved
with winning the championship
they were healthy I mean you could count
on one hand how many seasons Mitchell Robinson has played
over 65 games in so the Knicks they got really lucky with Mitch
and they got really lucky with
everyone else too and it just it worked out even
when they did deal with injuries it was never
really in the playoffs where they got hindered obviously Javy
was hurt he was playing through and
it's Jalen Brunson he's one of the most miraculous players
in NBA history but it is one of these
situations where right now having a guy in Brown
while also getting your third string big man
amidst whoever they do add on a two-way contract
for that center spot because they will add someone
they will have four big men Cat doesn't have
to play every game if he's a little banged up
Andre Drummond doesn't have to play every game
if he's a little banged up Drummond again knock
on wood has been pretty healthy throughout his career
but overall it really does work out for
the Knicks I mean they would give up a young wing
and his development but he hasn't developed a ton
and yeah they would lose a few second rounders probably one
or two and maybe Dottie does become
a useful contributor but the Grizzlies are a team
that can afford to try that out they're not
contending they're not even necessarily good
and they're in a western conference where they're not
going to make the playoffs they could use Dottie
the Knicks they're trying to repeat as NBA
champions like they're not going
to try out become Dottie a ton meanwhile Bruce Brown
they could use because they know he's successful
he's an experienced bench option the potential help
across multiple roles he's played point guard
with the Knicks he's played small part he's only
played in a few games and another choice
when injuries hit especially if Josh Hart misses any
time you plug Bruce Brown into the Josh Hart role
and it's the closest you're going to get
to Josh Hart 100, so guys I do want to ask you
though is this worth moving because Brown in
the center who they'll add will definitely be meaningful depth
and the cost of picks is
certainly reasonable but to kind of be like
no I don't want to do that but it's second rounders
the Knicks and Leon Rose they circumvent second round picks all
the time out of thin air so
I'm not concerned about this I actually think
this is a move the Knicks should make they should
contact Memphis, offer Dottie
a and a second-round pick for nothing in return
like the cheapest cash considerations or something the Knicks love
which is the way they would do is some random draft and stash guy
who is never going to come to the NBA,
which the Knicks are obsessed with doing.
One of the Knicks draft and stash players
is an assistant coach on the Spurs
who's 40 years old.
Why do they have him?
I don't know.
It's definitely a salary cap thing.
and frankly, I think I'm good with the salary cap
I'm not Brock Aller good, so I don't know what he's cooking up
but guys this is a move the Knicks should make
I'm curious what you think about it let me know
