HOUSE TOUR! | Our First Home Together

Here we are. Alright welcome back to another video. Today we are welcoming you into our home. The house tour video. One of the most requested videos of all time. Yeah so this video is coming at the perfect time because we actually moved into our house a year ago from last week. So this is like an anniversary video for us I guess. And we just wanted to put a little disclaimer on this that this is not us showing off our material possessions like things that we have. This is just to open up more to you and show you more about our lives. Yeah this video a big part of it is you getting to know us as a family and so we thought what better way than to welcome you into our home and show you where we live. So be sure to subscribe to see all those cool videos. But let's get started. Alright welcome to the Eisenman residence. I just realized I'm actually matching our house. So this is our first house. This is the first house we built together and it was really fun just being able to pick out everything we wanted on the inside and everything. So this is the entry. I feel like I'm on a TV Cribs or something. So we're kind of winging this. I don't really know what to what I'm supposed to say but I'm gonna try to keep it interesting. This is our newest addition to our house. This is Oakland's playroom and I thought these doors were a genius idea. These are Dutch doors so you can shut the bottom half and leave the top half open so that when he's playing in here it's kind of like a gate we can shut him in and then this blocks off all the colorfulness from not matching the rest of our house. This room was fun to do. It's so new that it's obviously not done yet but it was fun because of all the color. I'm kind of scared of color in our regular life which you'll see as you walk through our house. So it was fun to have some fun with it. This is our entryway. This is perfect. It took us the longest I think to find something for this spot but I Keep on going to the living room. This is where the magic happens where we make all of our videos sitting right here and where we also watch our TV shows. What do we talk about? This is Nathaniel's beanbag chair but it turned into being mine. I got it for him as a gift. I did not want him to have this thing but let me tell you if you are a breastfeeding mom you need a beanbag. This thing has been my lifesaver and this is like my spot. I had told my mom that I really wanted to collect antique mirrors so I could collage them like this and she took it upon herself to make it her mission to find them for me. So this is them and I also collect glass bottles which you will see everywhere. That's our wedding picture and little oak on the wall which you can't even tell that's him anymore because he does not look like that now. Mr. Blondie. This is Oakland's hot ride matches our house and he is obsessed with this thing. Aren't you? You love it. This is our kitchen. We spend a lot of time right here. If you can't notice we like white. When we were picking out the stuff for our house they're like what color countertops? White. What color cabinets? White. What color do you want the walls? White. I think they were making fun of us but we like it. It's bright and pretty. This is our farm sink. If you don't have one you might should consider getting one. This is where we bathe Oakland. It's nice because it's so big and Nathaniel installed this nice faucet all by himself. This table was one of our very first wedding gifts. Also my parents. I think out of everything in our house this might be the thing that we've gotten the most compliments on when people come over. Alright come into my office where I spend most of my days. So here we have Wedflix headquarters. Look at the sign. Sutton got that sign created for me for my birthday right? Our anniversary and I think it's pretty sweet. But this is our office. This is where we do all of our editing. Not only editing for wedding videos but editing for YouTube. This is my desk and this is Sutton's desk. We have matching desks and we spend a lot of time in this room. Oh yeah check out Sutton's camera collection. I thought this was pretty sweet. We got Polaroids. Obviously we don't use these cameras for video but it looks pretty sweet. One really cool thing I like is this is a water dispenser right here that we have a company that delivers fresh spring water. A spring that is out of North Georgia Mountains. For less than two dollars a day we get this delivered to us. We get hot and cold water and tap spring water. That's one thing you'll learn about me or us that we're really we like to be healthy. What better way to be healthy than to drink the purest water possible. So we go from the kitchen to in here that's the garage and we got this made so that we could. Nathaniel keeps his workout stuff in this bench so look at all that stuff. So it's nice to have something to hide it and something that's pretty. Standing from this angle looking right here I feel like our house is so plain. We've lived here for a year and I feel like we're still not done decorating it and it might take a couple years before I feel like it's finished. My sister described our house in one word and she chose simple and I like that word. I like simple things. This is our guest bathroom and it's where all the guests that we have stay. Which is sarcasm because we rarely have anyone in the bedroom. Which has no light. That's something we need to do still and don't be fooled into thinking our house is always as clean. It's not. We straightened up before we made this video. Alright now we're going down the hallway. So this is our room. Also still incomplete but it's getting there. We got this comforter when we first got married from Nathaniel's parents and still use it. Pretty much everything you see almost everything you see is from TJ Maxx in case anyone wants to know. These doors are something that I think is like a really cool thing of our house and when we move whoever lives in this house probably gonna hate us because I want to take a lot of things with us and this is one of them. I love these doors. We had these made by my sister's father-in-law and me and Nathaniel had to go to this place that had just wood everywhere and we picked out each piece of wood that goes on this door and he put it together for us and so that leads into our bathroom. This is the master bathroom and we got our shower white subway tiled and then hanging on each side of the sink these are our wedding vows and we say these to each other every year on our anniversary. Alright coming to the room I'm most proud of. Here we got absolutely nothing but gymnastic rings just like I like it. I created this little gadget here to hold these rings. I hope that one day this room turns into like a playroom of some sort for Oakland to hang on and become a gymnast master. This is baby Oak's room but it's still not finished I don't know if we'll ever finish it but it's it's close close enough. Now it's time for him to go to sleep because he is not hanging with us. We chose the wrong day to change his schedule and then he's like 45 minutes past his nap right now so he's not too happy but you're about to be. We're doing the moms on call so he sleeps in here by himself with his blackout curtains and his white noise. Okay hope you enjoyed that house tour video.
