Nikki Edwards, Yahoo Sports.
You had three buffs with over 100 yards and a touchdown.
How did you and Coach Marin really want to capitalize on offense today?
We didn't capitalize on offense.
We only scored 52 points.
It should have been a lot more productivity and
a lot more expectation of that productivity.
We didn't get it done what we wanted to get done.
It's no way that we're satisfied with the outcome.
We're not.
That's just where we are right now.
Coach LeRivero, BuffStampede.com.
How you doing, my man?
Doing great, thank you.
I just want to ask, not being satisfied with that outcome,
what do you think you can improve on from this?
Special teams, offense, defense, a little bit of everything.
I think everybody chipped in on some of the nonsense.
And when we're trying to kick a field a little late and
the guy's not over there in a good conversation,
not even running on a darn field, that bothers me.
And the multiple penalties on special teams bothers me.
And we gotta do a better job, even the last run.
I mean, the kid just had a great run, and we get a call back.
You know how, come on, man, it's hard to even look the kid in the eye,
cuz he's been busting his butt at practice, getting his opportunity.
He finally got his opportunity, he hit it like he was supposed to, and
he outlasted the guy, scored a touchdown, and he gets a call back.
Cuz someone wants to hold on a particular play,
because they're getting their feet where they need to be to do the job.
Coach, is that a lack of focus you saw after you guys kinda got to 35?
Yeah, it is, it's a lack of, I've been there before.
You know, like when you've been somewhere before, you know how to act.
But if you hadn't been there before, you start going crazy.
And then we gotta do a better job, as coaches, starting with me,
to really prepare these guys for a task.
We gotta do a better job.
