Chastain Park Fall Arts Festival wraps up in Atlanta

Let's head out to Chastain Park, where a fall arts festival is underway. It's the last day that you can participate in this event, and you can enjoy food, art, and craft as well. Our Caitlin Pratt joins us live now to talk more about this and what's happening out there today. Hey, Caitlin, thanks for joining us. Yes. Hi, Jasmine. Yes, I'm in one of the little pockets where dozens of artists are situated here in Chastain Park. Maybe you can hear the jazz behind me. Just really a great mood to start your Sunday. I head on out here, take a look around, bring the family. Everyone's invited, including your furry friends as well. Let me flip the camera. You can see some of the artwork we're talking about here, starting with this beautiful glassware, glassworks here. You can see just so many options. Maybe you need to do some holiday shopping. Maybe you just want to get something fun for yourself, something for everybody here. And 185 vendors in all, skincare you see right here, in addition to art, gold-plated charms, little stuffies for your littlest family member. This is wrapping up a two-day outdoor event Featuring... Nearly 200 artists, painters, photographers, sculptors, jewelry makers, visitors can watch artists' demos, try some hands-on art activities, enjoy live entertainment, food, drinks, spotlighting both local and Georgia artists alongside talent from across the country. Take a listen to what the organizer had to say about being able even to bring your pet. Absolutely, this is what this is about. This is about family. This is about community. It's about bringing the community and the artists together, bringing pets to come out here and spend the afternoon. All we ask is that they're leashed and tagged. There's a range of artists here, and it's a little something for everybody, right? That's one of the things that we pride ourselves most on, is that we really have something for everybody. If you want something small, if you want something large, we have something for everybody. And there's just a plethora of things to choose from. Leather, pottery, paintings, fiber, everything you can think of. And just from all different types of crafts. And what a venue, too. Always a special place. In one of those pooches I was talking about here, starting to really pick up as far as the crowds go, people wrapping up maybe church, heading this way, bringing the entire family, including, once again, their leash pets as well. This is going to be happening until 5 o'clock this afternoon, and let me pan up. It's just such a gorgeous day. Blue skies up above, perfect temperature. Get out and about, just really a treat for your eyes. And maybe you'll find something that you'll want to add to your family, a pop of color, something just to put on the wall, maybe just to give someone. This is the arts festival here at Chastain Park.
