Ottawa Rapid hopeful ahead of must-win game Saturday

Yeah, we feel good. We have nothing to lose. We just need to go out there and show so much energy and so much grit to win. The Ottawa Rapid getting some of their final touches in before the second leg of their semifinals. They're taking on AFC Toronto Saturday on home turf in a do-or-die game. I think the biggest thing is that we know it's just back in our control now. I think it'll be a huge advantage to have us back home. We love the fans here. We love playing in front of TD. So I think it'll just be up to us now to put the goals in the back of the net. They fell to Toronto 4-2 in the first game last weekend. And in these playoffs, every goal counts. The Rapids need more than just a win on Saturday to move on. They need to win by at least two goals to have a chance at advancing to next week's final. The Rapids head coach Katrina Petersen says they gave Toronto's top players too much space and time. But the team didn't dwell on the loss. They got right back to work, eyes set on Saturday's match. Well, we're in good spirits. We know we have a difficult task. We're at half-time, if we call it that. We're down 2-0. It was very important for us to get that last goal that we got in Toronto. And now it's for us to go out and be It's going to be... We have a great opportunity here at home. We were in kind of the same position last year. We were so close, and this year we're going to take the last little bit and make it our final. Emma Weller, CBC News, Ottawa.
