Riley Laychuk's Manitoba forecast for Friday, Nov. 6, 2026
Nov 6, 2026
All right. Here's a look at your forecast on weekend Eve.
I don't know if that makes sense,
but we'll run with it here as we get through your Friday afternoon.
A pretty general sun cloud mix across the province.
Sunnier skies through southern Manitoba,
but you'll notice things a bit breezy as we get through the afternoon.
A south wind, particularly through the Red River Valley,
gusting up to 40 through the afternoon.
That will do a couple of things.
First off, it'll be a bit breezy,
but it will also help to pull in some much warmer air
as we head toward the weekend.
Northern Manitoba stuck in the cloud cover.
I do think we'll carve out some clearing
as we get through the afternoon,
but things remaining on the cloudy side
in Northern Manitoba,
there's a bit of a front that will drape south
as we get into Saturday,
and this will likely bring a few early morning showers
to places like Lynn Lake, Flin Flon,
maybe into Thompson,
but otherwise Southern Manitoba into the weekend,
a pretty general sun cloud mix
with the possibility through Central Manitoba
A few showers here and there as well.
Southern Manitoba staying on the sunny side through the weekend here.
So as we head through the afternoon, 8 degrees in Winnipeg,
where we do see some more sunshine earlier in the day.
10s and 11s into southwestern Manitoba.
But that breeze will be quite strong at times,
gusting up to 40 through the afternoon.
7s through the Pothlen Flon
as we carve out some sunshine into the afternoon.
And 4s for both Gillom and into Thompson.
Your weekend looking like this, 13 for Saturday, mainly sunny skies.
11 mainly sunny as we head through the day on Sunday
and things staying well above seasonal for this time of the year
to start the week and things cooling down slightly as we get
to the middle of the week, but lots of sunshine sticking around.
