Some good stuff in terms of weather conditions.
We've got sunshine on the way.
Temperatures are gonna be warming up,
but not too hot, or at least not yet.
And we've got, yes, gearing up
for a pretty fantastic weekend.
Outside of the Santa Ana winds, though,
that's gonna blow in.
Those vulnerable interior valleys
and through and below Canyon Pass,
they're gonna be dealing with elevated winds.
And with the stronger winds offshore,
it's actually gonna help, again, increase the heat.
So we'll go 80s.
And there may be a few communities this weekend
It could even top into the 90s.
And unfortunately, with the offshore trend,
it's gonna elevate our fire risk as well.
To the coast, we do have, at least beginning tomorrow,
coastal flood advisory for areas
of Orange County and San Diego.
It'll stay in place through Tuesday.
We're gonna be dealing with a new moon,
so we have the El Nino impact.
In conjunction with the Astronomical Gravitational Pull,
it's gonna increase tides to possibly even above seven feet.
Some things to put on the weather list there.
Temperatures for downtown LA, 79 degrees today,
three degrees above what's normal for this time of year.
Sunrise at 6:16 and sunset,
4, 5, 6, 4, 56 p.m. this evening.
And slightly warmer, we've got a transitional period.
Area of high pressure eventually will build in,
and we will be picking up, again, the offshore trend.
Right now, winds are coming out of the northwest,
but eventually we'll turn northeasterly,
and we'll push out to the southwest.
We've got that coastal flood advisory, as I mentioned,
with elevated surf anticipated tomorrow through Tuesday.
And unfortunately, this does incorporate communities
of Newport Beach into Dana Point.
San Clemente, Oceanside all the way into San Diego
and that unfortunately stays in place getting tomorrow through
the weekend and into Tuesday.
Breaking down the seven day forecast, 78 degrees for the coast.
So really lovely in terms of temperature wise
and approaching Veterans Day.
We've got a really beautiful afternoon on tap.
We are watching the possibility of a storm system sometime
after Veterans Day, but some of the moisture could seep
into the early early afternoon. So we'll see.
We'll see if that pans out.
For right now, I'll give it just a 20% chance.
And if we don't see it, we'll get temperatures
about 82 degrees with just a little cloud cover.
But look at the numbers.
We're gonna be reaching 86 degrees for downtown L.A.
for this weekend, 82 for valleys,
eventually climbing into the upper 80s
for both Saturday and Sunday.
Gotta watch those winds again.
Mountain communities at 55 degrees with sunshine.
Veterans Day looks good for now.
High deserts at 71 degrees and temperatures for...
Palm Springs, if that's where you're heading,
you're looking at 82 degrees and holding pretty steady
through the rest of the weekend.
