Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe speaker shares their seven-year journey of creating over 420 videos, emphasizing that consistency stems from a simple system rather than expensive gear or perfect scripts. After overcoming fear and burnout caused by overcomplicating the process, the speaker introduces \"Creator Momentum,\" a program designed to help struggling creators build a sustainable posting habit.
I've made over 420 plus videos over the past seven years,
and there's one thing I wish
I understood earlier.
It was never about the camera or the script that kept me posting.
I've always made one video a week,
but there were times where a video would take me even
longer, and I was completely overwhelmed with that.
But what kept me going was much simpler.
So in this video, I want to show you what changed
and something I've built because of
it.
A lot of my friends are creators too.
And to be honest, I hear the same story. You start posting,
you're all in, and then you disappear for a few weeks.
You come back, you post two or three videos
and then disappear again. Maybe you're waiting
for a better camera to start. Maybe you have a
full-time job or a family and you just don't find time to make videos.
Or you stay busy with things
that feel like progress,
like watching tutorials online or refreshing your stats instead of
Making the next video.
And to be honest.
I've done these things myself.
It actually took me a year to start my channel.
And the reason for that is because I was afraid
of what other people would think of me.
So just my family, my friends, and also
You, the viewer.
So one day I made a decision.
I would make one video per week, no matter what.
And to make sure I didn't back out,
I made a dedicated video about that,
which was called, I'm starting a YouTube channel.
And I also told everyone about it.
Now, the funny thing is that hardly anyone saw it.
But by making this video, it made me accountable.
And back then I used to script every single word during
my night shifts as a nurse.
You know what? Let's sit over here.
Well, yeah, the channel grew and so did also the pressure.
And every video became less fun to make.
And I also stopped taking the weekends off.
And as the pressure grew, I also overcomplicated my setup.
And yeah, I got overwhelmed
and I've put way too much time into every video.
So what changed for me is not having a better script
or you know buying a new camera. Instead
of writing everything out, I would just use a few bullet points.
I also made my setup way simpler
like right now just using a pocket camera
and I would focus on one video at a time.
Throughout those years of making content and posting it online,
one thing that I've learned
is that motivation comes and goes
but having a simple system is what keeps you going.
Now, going live and teaching live has always intimidated me,
but it's been in the back of
my head for the whole time.
And same with YouTube, where I waited a year to start.
And these days, my rule is simple.
If that voice inside me says that this is the thing I need to do,
then I'll do it. And over the years,
I've met some amazing creators that
are now long-lasting friends and you know
so many of them would love to create videos and share
their story with the world
but they just simply don't have a process to do this in a sustainable
way and if they asked i would give them tips
but there was nothing that really kept them accountable
so my mission is simple i want to help creators
who are stuck get unstuck with a simple system and
that's why i've built Creator Momentum, Creator Momentum
is for those who've posted before but
But can't keep it up.
Next to a job or a family, you roughly know what you want to make,
but you just keep starting,
stopping and overthinking it.
This is not another gear or studio course. It's about building a
system and actually posting regularly.
So I'm back home again because it's gotten really cold.
Creator Momentum is a four week program with one simple goal.
Create four videos in four weeks,
one video every week.
And on the last week you have your next four video planned.
So week one is idea so that you always know what to make next.
Week two is a simple workflow where you go from idea to posted video.
Week three is confidence on camera,
talking only from a few bullet points instead of a full script.
And finally, week four is consistency
so that you keep going after the program ends.
Every Tuesday, there is a live workshop and every Thursday,
a live Q&A so you can bring whatever you're stuck on.
Also, every call is recorded
and each week you share one video inside the group.
And I give you one piece of feedback.
on every video. And it doesn't matter what platform you use,
any format works. Now I'm
keeping this group small so that by week two,
I'll also know your names and what you're working on.
This is going to be the founding round,
