🌈 Crochet Rainbow Lobster Tutorial - Fun & Colorful Sea Creature 🦞✨

Hi friends, welcome to my channel. Today I'm gonna show you how to crochet these lobsters. For these two I used single color and for these two I used rainbow color combination and pastel color combination. Obviously they both are the same pattern, I just used different color combinations. You can use your own color combos and make yours. So now let's get started. I'm gonna use this brand milk cotton with 2.5 mm crochet hook for the whole project. To start I'm gonna use this coral color. You can use red, orange or any color you want. So first we're gonna make a magic ring. After making magic ring, make 6 single crochet into that magic ring. I'm gonna mark the first stitch with stitch marker. After making 6 single crochet, pull the yarn through to close it. Now we're finished round 1. We're gonna start round 2. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch and mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 2 we're gonna make 6 increase. So I'm gonna make another 1 single crochet at the same stitch. So this is 1 increase. Physically increase means making 2 stitches in 1. So I'm gonna make another increase at the next stitch. Now we've got 2 increase. We're gonna repeat like this until the end. Now we're finished round 2. We're gonna start round 3. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 3 we're gonna make 1 single crochet and 1 increase 6 times. I've made 1 single crochet. So I'm gonna make increase at the next stitch. So this is 1 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 5 more times. So at the next stitch make 1 single crochet and increase at the next stitch. Now we've got 2 sets. We're gonna repeat like this until the end. And now we're finished round 3. We're gonna start round 4. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 4 we're gonna make 18 single crochet. I'm making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. Now I finished round 4. We're gonna start round 5. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 5 we're gonna make 2 sc and 1 inc 6 times. So I'm gonna make 2 sc first. So after making 2 sc we're gonna make inc at the next stitch. So this is 2 sc and 1 inc 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 5 more times. Now we've got 2 sets. We're gonna repeat like this until the end. Now we've finished round 5. We're gonna start round 6. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 sc at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So from round 6 to round 12 we're gonna make 24 sc in each round by making 1 sc in each stitch of each round. So now I'm at the last stitch of round 12. So before making the last stitch I'm gonna stop for a while and attach the eyes. So we're gonna attach the eyes between round 5 and round 6 with 6 stitches apart. I'm gonna use this 4mm safety eyes. We're gonna attach the other eye too. So now we've finished attaching both eyes. Make sure the eyes are in the middle. Now let's continue. So there is 1 stitch left in round 12. So at the last stitch of round 12 I'm gonna change color. So if you're using single color you don't need to do that. Just continue crocheting normally. But here I wanna change color. So I'm gonna pick up the orange color and pull through the yarn. And that completes round 12. Now we're gonna start round 13. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 sc at the first stitch. Bring along the yarn tails on the hook. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 13 we're gonna make 1 sc and 1 decrease 8 times. I've made 1 sc so I'm gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So to make decrease we're gonna insert the hook into front loop only of next 2 stitches. Like this. And then pull through the yarn. We're gonna bring along the yarn tail on the hook. Pull the yarn through both loops. And pull through another 2 loops. So this is 1 sc and 1 decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 7 more times. I'm gonna leave the yarn tails here and cut the coral yarn. And then we're gonna continue. So at the next stitch I'm gonna make 1 sc. And then make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So basically decrease means making 2 stitches into 1. And now we've got 2 sets. We're gonna repeat like this until the end. So now I'm at the last stitch. It is the decrease. So here we're gonna switch the color to yellow. So I'm gonna pick up the yellow yarn and pull through the yarn. And that completes round 13. Now we're gonna start round 14. I'm gonna remove the stitch marker. So in round 14 we're gonna crochet in back loop only for the whole round. So we're gonna insert the hook into back loop only like this. Like this for the whole round. So I'm gonna make 1 sc at the first stitch. Insert the hook into back loop only. Bring along the yarn tails on the hook. So this is the first stitch. I'm gonna mark it with stitch marker. So in round 14 we're gonna make 16 sc by making 1 sc in each stitch of the round. And don't forget to crochet in back loop only for the whole round. After 3 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tails here and cut the orange yarn. And then continue the round. Now we've finished round 14. So after round 14 I'm gonna stop for a while and stuff the hat. I'm gonna remove the stitch marker. After stuffing the hat let's continue the next round which is round 15. So I'm gonna make 1 sc at the first stitch. So in round 15 and round 16 we're just gonna have to make 16 sc in each round. Now I'm at the last stitch of round 16. Here we're gonna change the color to green. So I'm gonna pull through the green yarn. And that completes round 16. Now we're gonna start round 17. I'm gonna remove the stitch marker. So in round 17 we're gonna crochet in back loop only like we did in round 14. So I'm gonna make 1 sc at the first stitch by inserting the hook into back loop only. Bring along the yarn tails on the hook. So this is the first stitch. We're gonna make 16 sc in this round by making 1 sc in each stitch. And insert the hook into back loop only for the whole round. After 3 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tails here and cut the yellow yarn. Now we've finished round 17. We're gonna start round 18. So in round 18 we're gonna make 6 sc and 1 decrease 2 times. So I'm gonna make 6 sc first. After making 6 sc we're gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So this is 6 sc and 1 decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat one more time. Now we've finished round 18. We're gonna start round 19. So in round 19 we're gonna make 14 sc by making 1 sc in each stitch of the round. And now we're at the last stitch of round 19. Here we're gonna change the color to light blue. So I'm gonna pull through the yarn. And we're gonna start round 20. In round 20 we're gonna make 14 sc by crocheting in back loop only for the whole round. Bring along the yarn tails on the hook. After 3 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tails here and cut the green yarn. Now we've finished round 20. We're gonna start round 21. So in round 21 we're gonna make 5 sc and 1 decrease 2 times. So I'm gonna make 5 sc first. After making 5 sc we're gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So this is 5 sc and 1 decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 1 more time. Now we've finished round 21. After round 21 I'm gonna stop for a while and step a little bit into the body. After stepping let's continue next round which is round 22. So in round 22 we're just gonna have to make 12 sc by making 1 sc in each stitch of the round. Now we're at the last stitch of round 22. Here we're gonna change the color to aqua blue I think. So now we're gonna start round 23. So in round 23 we're gonna crochet in back loop only for the whole round. And make 12 sc by making 1 sc in each stitch of the round. After 3 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tails here and cut the light blue yarn. Now we've finished round 23. We're gonna start round 24. So in round 24 we're gonna make 4 sc and 1 decrease 2 times. So I'm gonna make 4 sc. After making 4 sc we're gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So this is 4 sc and 1 decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 1 more time. Now we've finished round 24. We're gonna start round 25. So in round 25 and round 26 we're just gonna have to make 10 sc in each round by making 1 sc in each stitch of each round. Now we've finished round 26. After round 26 we're gonna stop for a while and stuff the body. After stuffing we're gonna close the body. So to close it we're gonna fold it like this. And then we're gonna insert the hook into 1st stitch and 2nd to last stitch here. We're gonna skip the last stitch. I'm gonna show you. So insert the hook into 1st stitch here. And then skip the last stitch and insert the hook into 2nd to last stitch. We're gonna skip this last stitch. So after that pull through the yarn and make sc. We're gonna continue like this. Insert the hook into 2nd stitch and 3rd to last stitch and make sc. Then 3rd stitch and 4th to last stitch and make sc. Then 4th stitch and 5th to last stitch and make sc. So at the 4th stitch we're gonna change the color to bubble. So I'm gonna pull through the bubble yarn. Now we're gonna make the tail with bubble yarn. So to make the tail we're gonna make 3 chains. After that we're gonna make 2 triple crochet together. So turn the work. And to make triple crochet we're gonna wrap the yarn twice around the hook. And then insert the hook into 4th single crochet stitch. Bring along the yarn tails on the hook. And pull through the yarn. And pull the yarn through first 2 loops. Pull through another 2 loops. When you get 2 loops on the hook we're gonna make another 1 triple crochet. Just like that at the same stitch. Pull the yarn through first 2 loops. Pull through another 2 loops. And when you get 3 loops on the hook pull the yarn through all 3 loops. So this is 2 triple crochet together. After that make 3 chains. And make slip stitch at the next stitch. We're gonna repeat like this 2 more times. So I'm gonna make 3 chains. And we're gonna make 2 triple crochet together at the same stitch. And then make 3 chains again and slip stitch at the next stitch. We're gonna repeat 1 more time. Make slip stitch at the last stitch. And then cut the yarn. We're also gonna cut the hidden yarn tails. After that attach the yarn tail with needle. After attaching the needle insert it into the same stitch that we made slip stitch. And then hide the remaining yarn too. And now we've finished the body piece of the lobster. Now we're gonna make the shells like layers and with their respective colors. So for the first one I'm gonna use orange yarn. And we're gonna insert the hook into the loops that we did in round 14. So this is the first loop. I'm gonna insert the hook into the first loop and pull through the yarn. And then make chain 1. And starting from the same loop that we made chain 1 we're gonna start round 1. So I'm gonna make single crochet at the same loop. Bring along the yarn tail on the hook. So this is the first stitch. In round 1 we're gonna make 7 single crochet and 1 increase 2 times. So I'm gonna make 7 single crochet first by inserting the hook into each loop. And make 1 single crochet into each loop. After 4 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tail here and continue. After making 7 single crochet we're gonna make increase at the next loop. So this is 7 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat 1 more time. Now we've finished 7 single crochet and 1 increase 2 times. I'm gonna cut the hidden yarn tail. After that we're gonna insert the hook into first single crochet stitch which is here. And make slip stitch. And then make chain 1. Now we've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2. So we're gonna start round 2 from the same stitch that we made slip stitch. So I'm gonna make single crochet at that stitch. So in round 2 we're just gonna have to make 18 single crochet by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. Now we've finished round 2. After round 2 cut the yarn. And then attach the yarn tail with needle. Now we're gonna hide the yarn tail. To do that we're gonna insert the needle into the first single crochet stitch. We're gonna skip slip stitch and chain 1. Insert the hook into first single crochet stitch. And then insert the needle into the middle of the last stitch like this. And then pull the yarn gently. And hide the remaining yarn tail. Now we've finished the first orange shell. So now we're gonna make the second shell. So the second shell is the same with the orange shell. We're gonna insert the hook into the first loop here. And then we're gonna use yellow yarn. So pull through the yarn. And make chain 1. So starting from the same loop with chain 1 we're gonna start round 1. So in round 1 like we did in the first one we're gonna make 7 single crochet and 1 increase 2 times. So I'm gonna make 7 single crochet first. After 4 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tail here and continue. After making 7 single crochet make increase at the next loop. So we're gonna repeat like this one more time. Now we've finished round 1. I'm gonna cut the hidden yarn tail. And then we're gonna make slip stitch with the first stitch. Then make chain 1. Now we've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2 from the same stitch that we made slip stitch. So in round 2 we're just gonna have to make 18 single crochet by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. After making 18 single crochet cut the yarn. And we're gonna hide the yarn tail like we did in the first shell. So I'm gonna show you again after hiding the yarn tail. And now I've finished the yellow shell. So I'm gonna make the green one. Insert the hook into the first loop. And then pull through the green yarn. Then make chain 1. So starting from the same loop that we made chain 1 we're gonna start round 1. So I'm gonna make single crochet at that loop. So in round 1 we're gonna make 6 single crochet and 1 increase 2 times. So I'm gonna make 6 single crochet first. After 4 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tail here and continue. After making 6 single crochet make increase at the next loop. So this is 6 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat 1 more time like this. After making 2 sets I'm gonna cut the hidden yarn tail. And then make slip stitch with the first stitch. Then make chain 1. Now I've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2 from the same stitch that we made slip stitch. So in round 2 we're just gonna have to make 16 single crochet by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. After making 16 single crochet cut the yarn. And then hide the yarn tail like we did in the orange shell. After that we're gonna make the last one. So insert the hook into the first loop of the light blue yarn. And then pull through the yarn. Then make chain 1. And starting from the same loop with chain 1 we're gonna make 5 single crochet and 1 increase 2 times. So I'm gonna make 5 single crochet first. After 4 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tail here and continue. After making 5 single crochet make increase at the next loop. We're gonna repeat like this 1 more time. After that I'm gonna cut the hidden yarn tail. And then make slip stitch with the first stitch. Then make chain 1. Now we've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2. So starting from the same stitch that we made chain 1. We're gonna make 14 single crochet by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. Now we've finished round 2 so after that cut the yarn. And then hide the yarn tail like we did in previous shells. So this is what it looks like after finishing all the shells. Now we're gonna make the claws. For that I'm gonna use this the same color with the head. The claw has 2 parts. The small one and big one. So we're gonna start with the big one. First we're gonna make a magic ring. After making magic ring make 6 single crochet into the magic ring. I'm gonna mark the first stitch with stitch marker. After making 6 single crochet pull the yarn tail to close it. Now we've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 2 we're gonna make 1 single crochet and 1 increase 3 times. I've made 1 single crochet so I'm gonna make increase at the next stitch. So this is 1 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 2 more times. Now we've finished round 2 we're gonna start round 3. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 3 we're gonna make 2 single crochet and 1 increase 3 times. So I'm gonna make 2 single crochet first. After making 2 single crochet make increase at the next stitch. So this is 2 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 2 more times. Now we've finished round 3. After round 3 cut the yarn. I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and set it aside. Now we're gonna make the small piece of the cloth. First we're gonna make a magic ring. After making magic ring make 6 single crochet into that magic ring. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. After making 6 single crochet pull the yarn through to close it. Now we've finished round 1 we're gonna start round 2. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 2 we're gonna make 1 single crochet and 1 increase 3 times. I've made 1 single crochet so I'm gonna make increase at the next stitch. So this is 1 single crochet and 1 increase 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 2 more times. Now we've finished round 2. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch to start round 3. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So in round 3 we're just gonna have to make 9 single crochet by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of the round. And now we've finished round 3. After round 3 we're gonna connect the small piece with the big piece. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and pick up the big piece of the cloth. And then insert the hook into the first stitch of the big one. So this is the first stitch. So I'm gonna insert the hook here. Bring along the yarn tail on the hook and make single crochet. And this is the first stitch of round 4 so I'm gonna mark it with stitch marker. Now we're gonna make 12 single crochet on big piece because the big piece has 12 single crochet and 9 single crochet on small piece. We're just gonna have to make 1 single crochet in each stitch. After 4 stitches I'm gonna leave the yarn tail here and continue. There will be 12 single crochet in total on big piece. After making 12 single crochet on big piece now we're gonna make 9 single crochet on small piece. Insert the hook into the first stitch of small piece. And we're gonna start from here. Make 1 single crochet in each stitch. And there will be a total of 9 single crochet. After making 9 single crochet on small piece we've finished round 4 so I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch to start round 5. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. So from round 5 to round 8 we're just gonna have to make 21 single crochet in each round by making 1 single crochet in each stitch of each round. Now we've finished round 8. So after round 8 I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch to start round 9. So in round 9 we're gonna make 1 single crochet, 1 decrease, 2 single crochet, 1 decrease 3 times. So I've made 1 single crochet so I'm gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. After making decrease we're gonna make 2 single crochet at the next 2 stitches. And then make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So now we've finished 1 single crochet, decrease, 2 single crochet, decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 2 more times. Now we've finished round 9. After round 9 we're gonna stop for a while and stuff the cloth. I'm gonna remove the stitch marker. After stuffing let's continue next round which is round 10. So in round 10 we're gonna make 1 single crochet and 1 decrease 5 times. So I'm gonna make 1 single crochet at the first stitch and mark it with stitch marker. After that we're gonna make decrease at the next 2 stitches. So this is 1 single crochet and 1 decrease 1 time. We're gonna repeat like this 4 more times. Now we've finished round 10. We're gonna start round 11. So in round 11 we're gonna make 5 decrease. I'm gonna make decrease at the first 2 stitches. Mark the first stitch with stitch marker. And we're gonna make 4 more decrease. Now we've finished round 11. So I'm gonna remove the stitch marker and make 1 single crochet at the first stitch to start round 12. So from round 12 to round 14 we're just gonna have to make 5 single crochet in each round. By making 1 single crochet in each stitch of each round. Now I've finished round 12. We're gonna repeat round 13 and round 14 the same with round 12. So this is what it looks like after round 14. Now we're gonna close the claw with 2 single crochet. So we're gonna skip the last stitch here. And insert the hook into first stitch and second to last stitch like we did in the deal. And then pull through the yarn and make single crochet. And then insert the hook into second stitch and third to last stitch and make single crochet. After that make chain 1. Leave a little bit long tail for sewing and cut. We're gonna make 2 of them. Now we're gonna make the whisker. I'm gonna use the same color with the head and make slip knot. After making slip knot make 11 chains. After making 11 chains starting from the second chain from the hook. We're gonna make 10 slip stitches by making 1 slip stitch in each chain. After making 10 slip stitches cut the yarn. We're gonna make 2 of them. Now we're gonna sew the whisker between round 3 and round 4 with 5 stitches apart. I'm gonna attach the yarn tail with needle. We're gonna place it like this. The cuff will be facing downward. Leave the yarn tail like this and attach the other yarn tail with needle. Sew with 1 stitch apart. And then double tie the 2 yarn tails and cut. We're gonna sew the other one the same. Now I finished sewing both. Now we're gonna sew the gloves. So we're gonna sew them at round 6 and round 7 with 3 stitches apart from the eye. So attach the yarn tail of the claw with needle. And we're gonna sew it. We're gonna place the small part of the claw inside and big part will be outside. And we're gonna sew it like this. Leave the yarn tail like that and we're gonna sew the other claw. Now we're finished sewing both claws. Now we're gonna make the legs. For that, I'm gonna show you with this orange color. There will be 6 legs in total. For 6 legs, I'm gonna use 6 different colors according to the shell. So here I'm gonna show you with the orange yarn. First, we're gonna make slip knot. After that, make 9 chains. After making 9 chains, starting from the second chain from the hook, make 8 slip stitches by making 1 slip stitch in each chain. And then cut the yarn. I'm gonna make 6 in 6 different colors. Now I finished making all 6 legs with 6 different colors and I'm gonna sew them. We're gonna sew the legs starting from 1 stitch apart from the claw. So I'm gonna start from here. I'm gonna sew the orange leg first. Leave the yarn tail like this and attach the other yarn tail with needle. And then insert the needle with 1 stitch apart. And then double tie the 2 yarn tails and cut. Now we're finished the first one. We're gonna sew the second leg with 1 stitch apart from the first one. I'm gonna attach the yarn tail with needle. After that, I'm gonna sew the third one. I'm gonna use green one. Attach it with needle and sew it with 1 stitch apart from the second leg. Now we're finished the 3 legs for this side. We're gonna sew the same for this side with the remaining 3 legs. Now I finished sewing all the legs and this is what it looks like. So now we're finished the lobster.
