JUST MY LUCK Trying NEW Subway Ultimate Festive Sub

How's everyone doing out there? I hope you're all absolutely spot on. Now as you can see I'm in my car we're off to Subway to do their Christmas baguette. Ultimate Christmas baguette feast or something like that. I reviewed it last year so I'm going to do it this year because it might have changed and the price might be different so let's go to Subway. Did I say ultimate festive baguette? It's a sub, we've got a Subway not a baguette. You know what I mean. So we're here on the left hand side you can see Subway just need to get that up now. I've got it. So I've got it there was more confusion with the till situation. I'm exactly the same place as I was yesterday when I did Burger King because Burger King's just there and Subway's there. Problem with the tills again I had to wait well we all had to wait about 10 minutes something to do with the the till not working. So that's yeah two reviews two days and both the same problems. So I've got it. So I'll get my receipt out now. I did it last year. The price last year was £5.79 just for the sub. I do notice this is new. It's gravy mayonnaise. I got that as well. And the grand total came to £6.39. Yeah, £79, £89, £99. So yeah, it's probably the same price and you pay 50 pence for the mayonnaise. My maths is terrible by the way so when I when I seen him doing it I thought these are getting smaller that is not six inch if that's six inch I've got a whopper oh that was yesterday wasn't it so I've got some gravy mayonnaise for dunking or you can have it on your your subway if you want got my table yeah I'll show you the size of this now easy tiger this is a family show oh and if you like the videos please um give us a subscribe it's free i do appreciate it and a thumbs up i can't ask for any more than that i do thank you nearly lost my breath then right so yeah this is what you get what 5.79 yeah that'll be right then 5.79 probably the same price as last time you can obviously choose which sub you want i've gone for the um stuffing uh with it being christmas a festive forget festive forget yeah i might i might forget it after i've had it that's for sure I've gone for a stuffing topped one, there it is, so I said, he said, what do you want on it? I said, well, what does it come with? It's festive, isn't it? Put what it's supposed to come with, so he put, is it chicken in there? I think it is chicken, or is it turkey? I'll have to do my research. Oh, well, that's a good pitch. . . You get bacon, it's that sort of very thin stuff, cranberry sauce, . . . . . he put cheese in there as well, and stuffing, so yeah. . . . . . . . Not last year, but the year before, . . I did a, it was called a Brie melt. . . . That was very, very confusing, that was. . . So, I'll get a thumbnail, and there's my sauce. . . . . . And I got my own serviettes as well. . . So, my tray is coming in handy with this one, it really is. . So, I got this tray off Amazon. It was cheap as chips. I think it was only about six quid or something like that. But it does the job. Yeah, I wouldn't trust it with a drink. I've had a few comments about it. Yeah, I wouldn't trust it with a drink, but it does the job for this. So, let's see what this is like. I'll open my mayonnaise as well. There it is. Gravy mayonnaise. I've actually reviewed, I think it was Hellman's gravy mayonnaise in the past. Right, I'll get into this. Seagull's just landed on my bonnet. Yeah, what's that red stuff called? Just had it then. It's gone. It's gone. It's very, very sort of very sweet. Oh, what's it called? What's it called? I've just put it on. It's not six inch that though. That is definitely not a six inch. I've seen him cutting it and I thought, I thought, oh, I'm going to get the big half for you. and you know there's a seven inch and then there's a five inch i've got the five inch here definitely sounds so wrong doesn't it it does it sounds so wrong yeah this is a family show so what's it that cranberry sauce that cranberry sauce it's very very sweet very very yeah i don't like it don't like that not so overpowering with stuffing this time it's exactly the same as it was last year exactly i did watch that video back that was a better bite um You're getting the crumb of the top. It's very messy though. It's going everywhere. I'm glad I've got a tray but it's still going down my top. Yeah it's very crumbly. I've got some stuffing there. Not too overpowering. I do like stuffing and the sweetness from the cranberry sauce. I'm quite sure that is chicken there. It's quite moist actually but it's there it is. There's the chicken. Could be turkey. I've not had a Subway since I don't think last year. Yeah and if it is If it is turkey then it's not very dry because normally turkey's dead dry isn't it. It's not too bad that actually, it's quite moist. That was a better bite. I'll show you this, I'll show you this seagull now. Say hello, say hello seagull to the YouTube world. Hello everyone out there. He said that with his beak closed. Right so let's try this, let's try this. He's probably looking at me and go go what a gannet you are, bum bum. Let's try this gravy Quite a pungent flavour, that. What the hell is this, eh? It's got very vinegary. Not picking any sort of gravy taste really, it's just very very vinegary. It is yeah, it's creamy and vinegary. Oh not my cup of tea that. No. It's plenty, you've got plenty of slippage juice in there with obviously you know that sort of cranberry sauce. It's not too dry. Stuffing could dry it out couldn't it. One more for the road, I'll finish that. It's funny because on the picture inside you get the gravy comes in a pot about that big it looks like it and it's got Subway written around the side. And I said, oh, I'll have a pot of that. And then I seen him squirting it into that. And I thought, that's not advertised as that, is it? You know, 50 pence. It's like quarter of the size as the pot that's advertised. So that's not right, is it? Let's be honest. Yeah, there's a few in. There's about three people sat down. And there was two people in front of me. Um, the chicken. It's all right. It's all right. There's quite a lot in there, actually. He must have just thought, I've cut this a bit wrong, haven't I? I'll just give him loads of the chicken or turkey. Yeah, probably chicken. Anyway, let's see, what would I mark this? It's alright, it's alright. It seemed a bit tastier than last year. I think last year they put far too much stuffing in there. And the sauce, whether they've changed the sauce, it was still very sweet. But it squirted it out of one of them plastic things. Never looks good, does it? It never looks good when it comes out of them. Yeah. But it does taste a little bit better. The cheese is lost, completely lost. And the crumb is very crummy, very crumbly, crumbly crumb. So I'm going to give it, I'm going to be generous. I'm going to give it a six out of ten, a six out of ten. And I probably wouldn't choose it again. That's just my opinion. We're all different.
