How's everyone doing out there? I hope you're all spot on.
Now this is a recommendation so I do thank you for it and I've got it.
I've been shopping to Tesco, come and have a look what I got.
And here it is, Tesco finest succulent
and savoury four pork sausages with bone marrow,
British pork and beef, that's good isn't it.
Hand selected cuts of British pork
with Aberdeen Angus beef and bone marrow,
blended with cracked green peppercorns and a touch of sage and thyme.
Outdoor bred, butcher style, British pork. Gluten free,
got a little traffic light system for one sausage, use by 31st.
So the price, yeah,
they were £4.50 or on a club card £3.50.
Yeah, so let's take a closer look at this pig.
All hail the pig, Al Murray, cracking, cracking bloke.
Right, so what we've got here,
we've got a little pull here to open, fully recyclable.
Got some spiel on there.
Look, let's go around.
So we've got more spiel.
Made with British outdoor bred pork and Aberdeen Angus beef.
Hand trimmed by our expert butchers.
Seasoned with savoury sage and thyme.
And cracked green peppercorns to enhance
the rich and succulent flavour.
Right, so let's go around the back.
440 grams with a GB stamp.
More spiel at the top.
Four pork sausages with beef.
Beef bone marrow and green peppercorns.
There's the ingredients, allergens are in bold,
pork is 63%, beef is 18%, beef bone marrow is 1%.
A few reviews back, well I'm going a few months back now,
I did review some bone marrow,
I think I might have got it from Tesco actually,
I won't spoil you with that one if you've not seen it.
So there's the nutrition, storage information,
we've covered the allergens haven't we, so if you do it in the grill,
do it in the oven or you can air fry it, it's up to you, it really is.
For best results, grill. Remove all packaging.
For best results, do not prick sausage skin.
Cut links before cooking. We'll have a look at them in a minute.
Not suitable for the microwave cooking.
Not suitable for cooking from frozen.
All appliances vary. Vary? Vary!
Caution! Do not overfill the air fryer.
Air fryer? Air fryer. Got my glasses on as well.
Crikey! Always wash hands,
surfaces and utensils after contact with raw meat.
Right, I might have covered everything.
If I do miss anything out, I'll put it in the description of the video.
So let's get these open and see what we've got.
We've got a tab system. I won't forget it. Sometimes I do actually.
I do forget the tab systems that they've got them on.
Yeah, I know. Brain like a sieve, eh?
So let's do that. That's working.
Working.
There it comes in. More tab systems going on here.
So let's have a look at this.
So they are vac-packed, aren't they?
Yeah, quite thick actually. I'll get a knife.
I've got a knife. That's not a knife.
Oh, you always are the best, aren't you?
Oh no, I've pricked my sausage. I've been too...
Oh, I've gone in like... Oh, I've pricked it.
Never mind. There you go, look.
They're all linked, look, together.
All sausages are linked. So I'll get some...
I'm smelling them spices quite strongly, I'll get some scissors
and I'll sort of unlink them and then we'll get them in the air fryer.
I was going to say like a bull in a china shop,
we'll unlink them like that and we'll get them in the air fryer.
So mine are going in here on the grill setting, so they're done,
they've split themselves look, I didn't need to,
well you don't pierce them anyway, that one's stayed intact.
I think that might, that might have.
Yeah, they've all split apart from, apart from that one.
And three have.
And that's what's in left behind.
Look, yeah, they are smelling very good.
I will say that.
So where's my tongs?
I'll tell you what, I'll just use this.
So this is the one that hasn't split.
It's going to split now because I'm going to cut it in half.
I'm going to cut it lengthways.
We'll have a look at it inside.
See what you think.
Oh, it's smelling lovely.
You can smell them spices.
That's what you get inside.
Look, there you can see the spices.
Yeah and the peppercorns. I do like a peppery sausage.
Cumberland pretty peppery. They're my
favourites. I do like Lincolnshire though as well
and Lincolnshire tend to have more sort of
spices and herbs in them. All right I think what we'll
do we'll just chop this up like that into
sort of bite-sized portions and filled
into natural casings it says and we'll try these.
We'll go over to my table and we'll try them.
So as always, I thank you for watching and if I could be a pain
and kindly to maybe consider subscribing to the channel
and give the video a thumbs up, I can't ask for any more than that.
And if you've got a local butcher's,
please do look after them if you've got them and if they're
in sort of driving distance for you, please support them.
These are available in our supermarkets and that's where I review them.
Aberdeen Angus beef.
I tell you what, I'm not going to be able to go,
oh yeah, that's definitely Aberdeen Angus beef,
that's for sure, but we'll see what they're like first.
Oh, they are lovely. Wow. God, they're so juicy as well.
The casing is a little bit on the tough side,
but it doesn't bother me.
It doesn't bother me at all. God, they're lovely.
Them herbs are coming through as well.
It's definitely hitting my taste buds in a good way.
Now the bone marrow, I'm not going to say,
oh, that's definitely bone marrow.
They are lovely and juicy and fatty and tasty.
Yeah, absolutely.
No gristle, well seasoned.
I do like the pepper in them as well.
That pepper's lovely.
The herbs that are coming through as well and picking them up.
Not too overpowering, but just doing it for me.
They're lovely.
I'm having
a little
moment here.
I've got four of them, four of them.
My wife and nippers have nipped out and she said,
save us a couple, will you?
Yeah, I'm going to have to restrain myself.
The other one's going in a butty.
This one's getting eaten now and the other one's going in a butty.
Oh, they're tasty, they are.
Thanks for the recommendation.
You were right.
I do appreciate it.
Yeah, the beef in there, it's all adding to the flavour of the sausage.
It's lovely, it really is.
And also the bone marrow.
I'm not going to say, like, oh, I can
definitely taste beef in there and bone marrow,
because I can't.
All I can taste is a lovely, meaty, juicy,
fatty sausage, and that's all I want.
So I'm going to give these a good 9 out of 10.
A good 9 out of 10.
Yeah, for taste.
Lovely.
I might even go 9.5.
Yeah, 9.5.
I like them.
So thanks for the recommendations.
If you've got any more, please keep them my way.
I've got a community tab on the front of my YouTube page,
if you can send us a picture of the food there.
And a message wherever you got it from.
And it makes it easy for me to go and get, doesn't it?
So that's, yeah, thanks.
Whatever you're doing on a Sunday, this video is Sunday.
I hope you've had a good weekend.
So take care, all the best.
And I'll get back to you on the next one.
