Billy Bush CALLS OUT Christa Pike's Legal Demands After Surviving Execution
Nov 4, 2026
To the meanest woman in Tennessee,
so mean I named a raccoon trapped in my yard right now
after her, Krista Pike. Holy ----, it's a hard knock life for her.
Little Annie right there,
redheaded Annie, Krista Pike.
Her lawyers are asking a federal judge to intervene because they
say Tennessee prison officials have returned
her to indefinite isolation following her failed
execution violating a settlement agreement, you see.
There was an agreement September 30th of 2024,
in 2024 they agreed that Krista Pike
would not be in isolation,
she'd be allowed to live amongst other prisoners and socialize
and do all that.
And now since her failed execution on September 30th,
2024, just a month ago, since that she's
been returned to isolation.
And Krista says she's still very seriously injured.
She describes severe burns, nerve damage,
difficulty sleeping, severe psychological trauma.
So she went back to the ER after being discharged
from the hospital on October 9th.
She says she went back to the emergency department,
but she was not admitted.
Pike says she had to clean an insect infested shower all by herself,
putting her at risk of infection and further injury.
There's a lot of complaining for someone who's supposed to be dead.
She describes being held in isolation in the prison infirmary
with only limited contact with staff, medical personnel,
her spiritual advisor, and her legal team.
Oh, I'm sorry.
Do you want your yoga instructor to come in too?
And how about your nutritionist?
Would you like your nutritionist here?
How about a little Botox while you're at it, Krista?
You might, you know, you were a kid
when you committed one of the most heinous crimes
the state of Tennessee has ever seen
by at 18 years old, by carving a...
Pentagram into the chest of a 19-year-old girl named Colleen Slemmer
and dismembering her in a
park and then coming back to your dormitory
and telling everybody about it, laughing and giggling.
Yeah, she complains about the psychological toll
that this is taking on her. After spending 28
years in solitary confinement,
Krista says being isolated again is causing trauma. It's PTSD for her
She warns that every additional day is making the trauma worse.
She fears returning to her old unit, she said,
you know, because her lawyers say she's
too physically weakened to defend herself
if attacked by some big, nasty man.
So to this end, Krista Pike released a statement.
Let's see if you're in a sympathetic mood here.
Her statement released on Friday.
It reads this.
One month ago on September 30th,
I walked into the execution chamber at Riverbend Men's Prison
prepared to die. I'd made my peace.
I told the people who loved me, supported me, and stood by
me, who are these people? You're in isolation.
Through the years that I was grateful for them,
I'd also told the people in the room
and who were there to witness my execution that I was leaving
Leaving them in loving kindness.
Several days later.
I woke up alone in a hospital, confused and in pain.
There hasn't been a moment since that night
when I haven't been in pain.
My body hurts, my arms hurt, my hands hurt,
my throat hurts, struggle to speak.
You know who else struggles to speak, Krista?
Colleen Slemmer.
She can't speak and hasn't been able to
for 33 years or something like that.
Krista says the pain isn't just physical.
There's pain in my mind and in my soul.
Huh?
You got mind pain, soul pain.
That's the worst kind.
I had not contemplated life beyond that night.
And I'm deeply, but now that I'm here,
I'm contemplating a little Chick-fil-A.
And I'm deeply hurt by the incompetence
that has put so many people in this terrible position.
I continue to think about my victim.
This is the greatest non sequitur in her statement.
I continue to think about my victim's family
and the terrible pain and loss they have endured.
Like a removable sentence.
Moving on, I am recovering
and I know that I'm getting stronger,
but healing is not the same as being okay.
Since that night, I've been largely isolated
in the prison's medical ward,
away from the other people and the human connections
that mean so much to me.
That isolation brings its own kind of pain.
I spent 28 years in solitary
and much of what I'm experiencing today
is a repeat of that condition.
I'm searching for meaning in what happened to me.
I'll tell you what happened to you.
You're Satan.
One thing that has given me strength
is the extraordinary love and support
I've received from people around the world.
Okay, okay.
These are called true crime fanatics.
These are the people who put up posters of like Luigi
Mangione and get aroused by him.
These are the people who go and marry a incarcerated man of
25 years so they can have wild state prisons.
You can have, excuse me, federal prisons conjugal
Talk about a weird kink.
Krista says to know that so many people care about me,
that they see me as a human being
whose life matters is something I cannot fully put into words.
What the doing wasting their
time with this woman? She is a cold blooded murderer.
It's humbling. It's touched me more
deeply than I can explain.
Governor Bill Lee, finish what you started, sir. It is time to put
Put her away if this is you don't get to go from the electric chair.
To the yoga mat, okay?
Now to the strangest case.
The case, this is a wild story,
and we're getting closer to figuring out who the players are,
but this case takes place at the High Court in London,
and it's called PPT versus ITN and Guardian News.
PPT is the court-ordered pseudonym for the claimant here,
and described as a well-known man.
A mystery man, a well-known man
who sought an injunction to stop ITN and The Guardian,
two media publishing companies,
from printing allegations that he abused his fame and status
to pursue inappropriate
and exploitative sexual activity with a large number of girls and young
women over many, many years, including an alleged sexual offense.
You know, a rape, perhaps.
This guy is well-known, apparently.
He denies the allegations.
And the judge, by the way, denied his injunction.
So his identity will be revealed.
But not yet.
They're leaving room for an appeal.
So the news organizations, both of them,
say they contacted more than 100 people on this story.
They spoke with about 30 witnesses.
I don't know what the results are, but they say it backs up
Claims that this guy was abusive.
His argument comes through his lawyer, Sarah Mansouri.
She said publication of this man's identity would very likely lead him
to take his own life.
Wow.
And that the state's duty to protect life under
the European Convention on Human Rights
requires that the court block it.
So the court heard that he has twice attempted
suicide since receiving letters from the Guardian
and ITN in May. He's been hospitalized.
He's literally coming apart at the seams over this
thing. Strange behavior for a man
who I'm assuming claims he's wrongly accused.
The outlet's argument is they say they have
a duty to the public and their sources,
The people who, you know, spoke to them.
To publish the man's name.
Look, by the way, they have a duty to their sources.
I would say this.
I hope your sources are, some of them at least, on the record.
These can't be like, you know, blind sources.
You know, a person close to so-and-so says, no,
no, no, you got to have some names in here.
If his name, if you want his name out there,
you got to provide names of your sources.
They argue that the risk can be reduced,
the media is arguing the risk can be reduced with treatment
and that no precedent requires blocking publication
because it might trigger suicidal impulses.
They're basically saying that's a dirty play, it's a dirty play.
Now, in an earlier ruling, the judge kept this man,
this mystery man anonymous for now, right?
Right. But but he required that the two news organizations.
To be named that they, when they come out, it will be told by him.
He was warned that the press and the public,
he warned the press and the public not to
speculate about the guy's identity.
Who the hell is not going to speculate?
We're all speculating right now.
It's not Russell Brand
because he's actually down the street in this exact situation defending
himself.
Um, but they don't want any speculation.
They say the reporting restrictions, uh, stays fully
enforced even when, uh, online guesses start spreading around.
Was this judge born yesterday?
You don't think people are speculating as we speak?
Here's my prediction. It's not like a big,
you know, English actor or something.
I, you know, it's not like a, you know,
you know, the one, it's not him or the other one, him.
I think it's, you know, someone that the Brits all know,
like a Lord Stephen Billingsley or one of these,
you know, one of these Randy MPs or something, right?
It's not a big movie actor, is it?
A rock star, do we think?
Because I'm speculating right now.
If you have that many sources, right,
and they go on the record with their name,
I don't see how you can keep the guy's name, you know, under wraps.
Although he does make a point that even
the mention of his name is going to put some type
of cloud on the guy forever.
Look, the speculation has begun in the chat section.
The judge told you
don't speculate and here you go.
Someone says it's a TV star. Okay, possibly. We know it's
not Russell Brand. I'll say that. Billy, you have been the best.
Following. You have the best following and live chat.
It's like having a coffee and chatting with
friends. That's right. Guess what?
Sometimes you can even get together with those people in person
in the chat section, right? They say, I'm going to look, look at this.
Oh my God. There's, is that,
that's Shmehar and that's Pauline. Yeah.
Well, bang. Who's in there, Harry?
Harry. Oh, there we go. They're downtown Boston, right?
Who's in there? Give me my line up. Harry, where are you? Come in.
Harry, come in. Put your stuff on the camera. Who is that?
I don't know everyone. I know, obviously, Joy.
I think Pamela. It's Pamela and Hippie Chick.
Hippie Chick, Pamela, and Joy. Oh, my God. That is exciting.
And I see everyone. Oh, my God. That is so cute. I love you all.
I love you all.
Please, if anyone else does this,
if you get together in a city somewhere,
please make sure you send that.
Jenny Lulu, I thought you were going to be joining them.
I thought Jenny Lulu was coming down to join Joy,
Pamela, and Hippie Chick.
Isn't that adorable?
Guys, makes me happy.
All right, this mystery suit is incredible.
So they're giving this guy a window to appeal
and then his name's going to come out
and then he's on suicide watch or something.
I just think it is.
If you've been accused of something horrible, right?
I just don't understand.
Like, I will do that to you.
That is not a way to react.
The way to react is, I absolutely did not do this.
And I am going to countersue everyone.
I am going to vigorously defend.
And you're going to pay my damn legal fees.
Bullshit.
That's the way you respond.
No other way.
Who's with me now?
