What Is Really Going On Between The FBI And UFO Hunters
Nov 4, 2026
Some of the FBI orb files
and the Pentagon's UFO releases may have started with two brothers in a
converted mobile home on Long Island.
John and Gary Tedesco of Nightcrawler Research claim their
work with the FBI fed into that material.
They also report that the partnership is growing into
areas they're not allowed to discuss just yet.
And that matters for anyone who is watching these releases
and wondering where the evidence actually comes from.
For years, the public has looked to independent researchers
to push the government towards openness.
Now, a well-equipped civilian team is working on the inside.
The data they collect could help settle what these objects are
or end up behind the same closed doors as everything else.
Hey Ufologists, I'm Christina Gomez and this is your UFO News Update.
So John and Gary Tedesco returned to that UFO podcast
and they were asked what the agencies
actually want from them. The answer points
to the FBI files inside Pursue and two red orbs moving
alongside a pond.
The pond case was part of the third Pursue release on June 12,
2026, and a resident in the northeastern
U.S. reported orbs near a secluded
to the FBI in October of 2024,
and the Bureau rated them highly credible.
In November of that year,
two FBI agents went to his home and saw lights themselves,
including a white light that moved side to side for a few seconds
and then just vanished.
The residents handed over four cell phone videos
that were recorded between 2021 and 2025.
He also logs spikes in gamma radiation that lined up
with the sightings, plus unusual effects of electronics and GPS data.
Now, the brothers didn't claim they collected that case,
but their claim is that.
Part of what the public saw came out of their partnership
with the Bureau, alongside the FBI's own work.
And the partnership has only grown since then.
That partnership is still ongoing
and it's actually expanding in certain areas.
Some of it we can't.
We can't really discuss at this time.
According to the brothers, the work now involves more than one agency.
They describe the FBI as focused on this subject
and assign staff to it,
while Nightcrawler supplies expertise in instruments.
Instruments.
One of the brothers describes something he caught on his own camera.
And we will get into that in just a little bit.
The next agency that they named was Arrow.
A representative came out to inspect Nightcrawler in person.
We did have a representative from Arrow out there.
That went well. They were impressed with our system out there.
They thought it was the highest-end system in the civilian world,
which was a nice compliment.
We probably will be talking with them a little bit,
see where that goes.
The brothers expect further talks with Arrow,
and they also stress that they will remain
independent of an agency and answer to the public.
Andy pushed them to that point,
asking how they square calls for transparency
with work they just can't discuss.
And their work was that the partnership has
not changed their commitment.
Most UFO evidence comes from a phone camera, and a phone
records only what the eye can see, and even that, just barely.
The Tedesco brothers are trying to capture what the eye cannot see.
Their lab, Nightcrawler 3.0, is a large motorhome
with every sensor wired into one screen at the front.
Their newest tool is a camera that costs close to $90,000
and it sees a kind of ultra
Ultraviolet light and sunlight barely produces
so anything glowing in that range stands out
right away.
Power companies use the same type of camera
to find electrical sparks on high voltage
lines.
It's interesting that the brothers didn't buy this on a guess.
Their older detectors had already picked up this ultraviolet light
from a glowing plasma-like object off the coast.
The older detectors could only show whether the light was there.
This new camera can show the glow itself
and its shape around the object
They also added a camera that sees sound, and it has 124 microphones
that pick up tones far too high for people to hear.
This is some kind of a high-voltage discharge.
You know, then you're going to have frequencies
that are in excess of 100,000 cycles
and that can be easily measured with this camera and pinpointed
So knowing exactly where that sound is coming from
It's going to shed a lot more light on exactly what it
is that we're looking at and trying to analyze it
Witnesses often report a hum or a buzz
and this type of camera is meant to find the higher sound
underneath it and then mark its location on screen.
A new Simrad Marine radar with a bird
mode rounds out that upgrade
and it can track targets about the size of a basketball and then
completes a full sweep in half the time of their older unit.
So should civilian teams like Night
Nightcrawler, work with the FBI, and Arrow...
to get their data taken seriously,
or does that put this independence really at a risk here?
Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
Over the past 10 months,
the team tracked a sphere of light on the surface of the Atlantic
just off the coast, recorded on four cameras at once.
Local boaters running their own marine radar report similar returns,
at times within about five miles of the team.
Two surfers and two couples
also came forward with accounts of glowing spheres
moving in a way that they couldn't match to an aircraft.
Sightings have dropped since a dredging project along
the Robert Moses State Park shoreline,
and the objects that still appear sit farther out.
The brothers are studying.
Studying whether the environment is a factor in this
and the radar data has kept coming
in.
Yeah, that's that's been persistent, you know
the radar tracks that we've been getting
some of the oddities with the
even some of the spectral stuff that we've been seeing
on the cameras, too
The brothers call it the hitchhiker effect,
where researchers report experiences that
continue after they leave the field.
Nearly everyone who has worked with them regularly has reported one,
mostly during the middle
stretch of their study.
Team member Donna Leonardo woke to a dim, dusty-colored orb
hovering in her bedroom before it faded
A former Navy man who works as an amateur astronomer on weekends
watched three points of light merge into the telescope view.
The middle one dropped out and then headed toward his property.
And then one of the brothers describes
what he caught on his own camera
It was those sorts of light that would have produced it, you know.
But it was a very...
Large shadow mass that I actually was able to record
on my camera that moved between me and the mobile laboratory.
That footage has not been made public, and Andy asked for a copy
to air, and the brothers also describe a feedback loop where
the activity seems to respond to people actively watching it.
And that has led them to run experiments with remote viewers
and people they call psychic sensitives, which they compare
to the psionic work Skywatcher promoted and used in a different way.
The brothers are proposing what they call
a red team open field audit, borrowed from
engineering.
Outside experts watch the equipment working
in real time instead of trusting a written
paper.
Nightcrawler has already hosted scientists,
science journalists, forensic and emergency
management experts, psychologists, federal agents, and Aero.
They applied that test to Skywatcher,
and Andy noted that the group had promised to
to present data within a.
eight to 12 weeks back in October of 2025.
And then they went silent and it reportedly worked
back inside the government.
One of the brothers who held a security clearance for 15 years
rejects classification as a reason to share nothing.
In their view, FBI files carry better
quality and more detail,
while Pentagon videos arrive heavily redacted with image quality they
They believe was lowered on purpose.
What would convince you more?
Civilian data checked in real time by outside observers
or files released by the government?
