7 Things To Take Away From The Congressman's Dr. Phil UFO Interview
Oct 19, 2026
I wasn't much of a believer.
I have friends that are like, that's all they can talk about.
But you know.
And, well, I do know we see some pretty strange things.
I've interviewed pilots.
That is President Trump on Newsmax.
When Newsmax asked if he would be the president
who finally discloses the truth, Trump didn't commit,
but he pointed to the files already
coming out. But two people working this issue from inside
and outside Congress describe a
very different situation below the president.
Congressman Eric Burlison believes federal
agencies are actively blocking the White House.
And he has also revealed new details about a
government operation over a U.S. military base where dozens
of glowing objects appeared,
and he is now exploring public testimony
from the intelligence officers who were there.
Hey UFOlogers, I'm Christina Gomez and this is your UFO News Update.
Trump repeated what he spoke with five
or six Air Force pilots and believes them.
He was also asked about Area 51, and he described it
as a little more than a rusting fence that draws crowds of tourists.
Then came his answer on UFO disclosure.
No president has ever been willing to step to the microphone
and finally disclose the truth.
Are aliens real? Have we been visited?
Are we reverse engineering their technology?
So are you going to be the president that does this?
Well, I'm looking.
I'm looking.
Again, I'm not high on the list of that particular subject.
Yeah.
Releasing everything is a very big claim.
The lawmakers pushing hardest
on this do not believe everything is reaching the president.
In a recent interview with Dr. Phil
and Jordan Flowers of the Disclosure Foundation,
Burlison was asked about a report involving Congressman Tim Burchett.
According to Burchette,
White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller called him at home and
warned that people inside the agencies
are blocking the releases of UFO files.
Burlison has not yet heard that from Miller directly,
but he definitely agrees with it.
But I wouldn't be surprised.
And it's from my observation, it is true. I think that the
agencies are blocking this administration.
I think that previous administrations
set up deliberately set up scenarios where
that information was not going to be passed on to the
next administration Burlison
also pointed to missing records from the Advanced Aerospace
Threat Identification Program also known as AATP
and these records date to the 2010s and he believes
they appear to have been deleted he wants
the administration to push harder or he expects these
groups to keep holding back and possibly stop looking altogether.
Burleson first met with the
Office of the Director of National Intelligence,
referred to as the ODNI, in the fall of 2025.
Officials were closing out a years-long investigation
that had found very little
information. Then they called him back
to the same office for a new briefing,
because some things had changed.
Members of ODNI, you had members of the CIA, FBI,
and and the department of war intelligence
that were all on site at western military installation
and and they saw for themselves these these uh glowing orbs
um that they they moved intelligently
they were interacting with them
and in some places in some aspects they would either be
sitting hovering not not making a sound not doing anything
not appearing to be using propellers or
other conventional flight technology,
and then they would go from zero to instantaneous speed.
Some split from one to two,
and an FBI interview record describes the orbs moving within about 10
feet of a helicopter carrying the intelligence team.
Dr. Phil, who flies his own helicopter,
noted that 10 feet puts them inside the reach of a rotor blade.
When Dr. Phil asked how many
orb showed up, the number really surprised him.
I don't know if they had the exact number of
orbs, but there was at least three or four
or more dozen of them that showed up.
Three or four dozen? Yes, or more.
You're talking about 50 of these things show up? Yes.
Okay. And there was also observed phenomena,
that were filmed, and again, this is from the
government's own release uh an fbi 302 form
a sworn affidavit effectively burleson was very
careful about using the word luring he compared it more
to deer hunting you know where the animals
travel and you can use scent to draw them
but nothing is guaranteed the site was already known
as a hot spot and the objects tend
to appear during certain activity on that range according
According to Burleson,
it had happened there more than once since late 2025,
and the released files themselves do not use the word lure at all.
And that idea comes from the classified briefing and from Flowers'
reading of a blacked-out line that refers to a successful test.
Do you think officials found a way to draw these objects in,
or did they simply just show up where the orbs were already appearing?
Well, you tell me.
Flowers explained that about six journalists have asked the Pentagon,
the White House and other agencies
to comment on this particular operation.
Not a single one of these journalists has even gotten a response,
not even a thanks for the email. We'll get back to you.
Complete radio silence when asked about this particular luring
operations, this particular luring operation that we're describing.
And when they're asked questions about other things,
they will get a response within a day.
On other topics, those offices answer within a day.
On this one, months have passed without a response.
Flowers Group has filed a Freedom of Information Act request
to get the briefings on the record.
Burleson added one more detail on this as well.
FBI agents responding to calls about strange activity have filmed
the same type of glowing orbs in public places across
the country with their own phones.
He saw that footage before he learned about the base events,
and to him, it shows a pattern that has spread across the country.
Burleson now believes past administrations did
not pass full knowledge of these programs to the next one,
so over time, no one at the top was in charge.
In his view, the work moved down to federally funded research
and development centers, known as FFRDCs,
which split it up and then sent pieces
to contractors like Lockheed and Northrop.
That means a contractor could receive material
and never be told that it came from a crashed vehicle.
Someone higher up once knew, and the people doing the work may not,
and here we're referring to the late Dick Cheney.
Allegedly, he was the person on top
of these legacy programs that knew all this information,
but since his passing in November of last year,
no one really seems to have the whole picture as to what's going on.
Burleson believes someone in the middle layer still has some answers,
and he is ready to use
subpoenas to bring them in.
The question is, why hasn't he used subpoenas already? Flowers believes
current law already requires those research centers
to hand over UAP information from
government-funded programs.
If they hold it back, he argues, they are out of step with the law.
On whether the U.S. has recovered craft, Flowers would be surprised
if it has not, though he can't confirm it without a clearance.
Burleson has not seen physical evidence,
but he believes if craft exists, pilots likely come with them.
And this is where the newest step comes in,
because Burleson told the New York Post he is exploring whether
the intelligence officers from the orb operation can testify publicly.
Some have already met lawmakers privately,
but they have not shared all of the video from that
mission. One of them is a career ODNI official
who is not publicly known, and Burleson worries
that bringing agency employees
into public view could expose other sensitive work, so no hearing
has been set yet. The location is still unclear,
and Burleson calls it a Western installation as
to where this operation happened.
Flowers' group leads towards White Sands in New Mexico,
but cannot confirm it,
and the New York Post described a West Coast base.
Avi Loeb, who leads the UAP Science Advisory Council,
told the Post his team has not seen the footage
or spoken with witnesses,
and he wants the location so scientists can gather better data.
Burleson has also asked several times
to be on site the next time activity
is expected. Jordan Flowers
also wants a national intelligence estimate, a formal report where
agencies can reach a joint conclusion on what these objects are,
along with a fund to protect
whistleblowers who lose income or face threats.
But Burleson went even further on that.
I think that the topic of alien life should not be classified, period.
And if the president could
simply say i'm going to declassify any knowledge of alien life
then that would go a long ways
he supports keeping technology secrets that give
the U.S. an edge over its rivals but contact itself
in his view should never be classified Flowers added
that agencies often hide behind the word
extraterrestrial, and he wants the law
to use non-human intelligence instead. If these intelligence
officers testify in public,
what one question would you want them to answer under oath? And for
more on the idea that the government can draw these objects in,
go back to one of my earlier
videos on Jay Stratton's interview with Brett Baer.
Stratton described a submarine mission used
as bait to attract non-human craft
and explained how admirals were blocked from reporting what
they saw.
Watch this video next.
I'm Christina Gomez, that is it for today.
I will see you again next time for another UFO News update.
Be safe and remember, keep your eyes on the skies.
