A train derailed Tuesday afternoon near Gordon in Palo Pinto County, Texas, with 35 cars coming off the tracks around 1.45 p.m. on a bridge over Colville Road. Some cars reportedly carrying hazardous materials. Emergency crews are responding and no injuries or evacuations have been reported at this time. They're basically having no evacuations, folks, as this is in the middle of nowhere. Just FYI. Emergency crews are responding to a large train derailment that occurred Tuesday afternoon east of Gordon in Palo Pinto County, Texas. The incident happened around 1.45 p.m. On a railroad bridge over Colville Road, just north of State Highway 183, according to officials, 35 train cars derailed and some are carrying potentially hazardous materials. The full extent of the cargo and its danger is still being assessed. At this time, no injuries or evacuations have been reported.
