Jalayshia Alford missing: Search underway for missing Philly 10-year-old

And Philadelphia police are also looking for a 10-year-old girl who's been missing for more than a week now. Morgan is at police headquarters this morning. Morgan. Jason, Alex, good morning. Yeah, so Philadelphia police, they are asking for the public's help in finding 10-year-old Jalasia Malaysia Alford. We know that she was last seen last Monday on October 26, around 7.30 in the morning. That was in the 500 block of North Simpson Street. Police say that she's about 4'11 and weighs about 70 pounds. And she was last seen wearing a blue uniform, right? So a blue button-up shirt, a polo, blue skirt, blue pullover, blue stockings. And then either Crocs or black sneakers and police say that she she also wears glasses. Now we do know that police use at least one cadaver dog during a search in West Philly yesterday. And although there is no evidence that police are looking for a body, we are told that there are questions about the timeline leading up to her disappearance. Because again, she was seen more than a week ago and we are just hearing about it. So again, she lives on the 500 block of North Simpson Street. Police are urging anyone with any information at all to contact the Southwest Detective Division. So just a nightmare for her and her family. We're praying that she is found safely. And we know everybody is advocating, you know, social media on TikTok. Her 15-year-old brother has been making posts, and we've seen it have over 1,000 shares right now. So the community is really coming together to help in this search. I'm sure he's worried sick about his sister. All right, we'll stay on top of the story, Morgan.
