Hard to believe that the first week of November,
we're not talking about a freeze, we're talking about temperatures back
in the 70s, feeling more like September by midweek.
Take a look outside. It's a pretty night across the Delaware Valley.
Philadelphia, 51 degrees. There is absolutely no wind out there.
And before we go charging into November,
let's take a look at October in review.
It was a warm month with the average monthly
temperature 3 degrees above average, which is a lot.
for a whole month. Precipitation
a little bit more than six tenths of an inch below average,
so it was on the dry side.
And 26 days were sunny or partly sunny. That means only
five days were cloudy.
So if you thought it was a mild and sunny month...
You're absolutely correct.
Temperatures right now in the 40s and 50s across the region.
And Millville sinking to 38 already.
The wind speeds calm through much of the area.
And that's why later tonight these temperatures are going to sink.
38 Doylestown, 36 Allentown, 37 in Reading.
And Millville in the 30s as well.
That's why we have a frost advisory for Lower Bucks, Montgomery,
and even the lower portion of Chester County in through South Jersey
with temperatures as low as 35.
So if you have any annuals that are still out there,
Any tomatoes you haven't harvested yet,
it might be a good time to cover them up or bring them in.
Tomorrow, we're back in the 60s with more afternoon sunshine,
and that's just the beginning of the warmth.
Tuesday, upper 60s to around 70, and then Wednesday,
really warming up before the rain comes in.
And then Thursday afternoon,
We'll see a chance of showers,
a greater chance Thursday night into Friday,
and then Saturday just a chance of some showers.
This is how it's going to play out.
High pressure bringing us the sunshine the next couple of days,
the peak of the warmth Wednesday,
and then here comes our next front that will
be bringing us that shower activity.
Low off the coast of the Carolinas.
Doesn't look like it's going to be bothering us.
Maybe some extra wave action down the shore this week.
Here's a look at that seven-day forecast.
You can see the 70s begin on Tuesday.
The peak of the warmth, as I mentioned,
Wednesday but Thursday and Friday despite the rain still mild
and then the weekend dry but temperatures beginning to trend cooler.
Jeff, we'll send it back to you.
