DeKalb Jail death probe, missing teen & Austell home shooting

Alright, want to bring in our Sasha Stevens at the assignment desk. Sasha, I know we have all been rooting for the Atlanta Dream here, but good to see you on this Sunday. Walk us through what the desk is looking out for this weekend. All right, so the first story we're going to dive into is out of McDonough. McDonough police need the public's help in finding 17-year-old Dahlia James. She is considered a critical missing juvenile. Officials say she was last seen yesterday around 6.30 p.m. She was wearing a black shirt, black pants, and a red skirt with a pink Hello Kitty blanket wrapped around her. So police are asking the public if anyone has seen her to please contact police as soon as possible. Hopefully, we're able to find where she is. I haven't seen any updates or anything about them being found safely. Walk us through. And, Estelle, the woman shoots her husband. Yes, crazy story and also an Austin woman is behind bars after police say she shot her husband at their home. Officials did not release the address but they did say it happened Saturday morning around one o'clock. Officers say that man was shot in the abdomen but is expected to survive. In addition to the shooting, investigators seized cocaine, marijuana and more than $34,000 in cash from the home. So far no word on what led to the shooting but we're continuing to check with police to see if they have any details throughout the day. All right, before we go, there is a family in DeKalb County. They want answers. Their loved one was found dead in a jail cell there. Walk us through this and their call for answers. So the community came together yesterday in Decatur, the family of David Addo Wright calling for answers in his death. Family says Wright was attacked on September 24th while in custody at the DeKalb County Jail. Deputies later found him unconscious. He died at the hospital. This all happened the day after he posted bond. Five men are now charged in connection with his death, but Wright's family says they want accountability from jail officials. After he was brutally attacked, for over 40 minutes, no one came to his assistance. What is the protocols in the jail? Who looks at the cameras? How are people supervised? Why was he not held in a different pod if his bond had posted, even if he was waiting to be transferred somewhere else? So our officials tell us Amir Andrews, DeJuan Bryant, Triante Brantley, Messiah Henson, and Jada... King, all face murder charges. The GBI is investigating this case, but so far has not released any details about what led up to this attack. All right, Sasha, thanks so much. I have to ask you before I let you go. What are you watching this weekend? If you don't know at home, Sasha is our movie guru, television empress. I don't know. You know it all and you always give such good suggestions. What are you watching? What are the people watching at home? One thing I've started from my list from Friday is Nocturne on Apple TV. It's about a man who left the military, trying to have a quiet life, but he runs into a town where there's a serial killer. So his peace is not peaceful. So definitely started watching that. The first episode really has me hooked, so I'm going to continue to watch it throughout the week. All right, Sasha, thanks so much. We appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
