A look inside Westland's Eloise Asylum

This will be the busiest night of the year for haunted houses like Eloise Asylum in Westland. I was going to make a joke about seeing a ghost of a news anchor pass, but I'm not going to do that here. The site has a deep history and was actually a real psychiatric asylum for decades. Fox News' Scott Wolchek had an appointment with costumed characters inside the surgery room. Happy Halloween, everybody. Ooh, I'm a scary dinosaur rider, and I am actually at some place very, very scary. Eloise Asylum, you need some... Oh, there's some body parts flying at me over here, and oh, oh, oh. Oh, this is what they said they were going to do to me. We're in the surgery room right here. Well, you know, they treat their patients so well here at Eloise Asylum. Fist bump for that wonderful patient right there. I got Mike right here. Obviously, we got Crazy Carl or whatever that guy's name is. I don't know. But let's talk about this super awesome weekend for you guys. Halloween on a Saturday night and you're open all weekend. How awesome has it been? Oh, it's been fantastic. We've had a great season. Looking forward to this weekend. Just putting on a great show for everybody. I forgot that I had this on me. Can we get a nice look at your beautiful dental work and a little bit of goo dripping down there? Mmm, tasty! Very tasty. They said that they're going to give me a special treatment coming here. So this place is in Westland. Obviously got not only a scary haunted house part, but the upstairs, the paranormal rooms are pretty scary. Because this place actually used to be a mental asylum. Yes, we are the ninth most paranormal building in the country and one of America's oldest and sanest albums. Wow. Okay, what would you say to someone who's never been out here? Oh, definitely come out and, you know, have a great time. We're here all weekend and looking forward to having you down here. Oh, that's great. You might want to get out here while I'm still around.
