Police in Fairfield are searching for a gunman this morning after a deadly shooting inside a Spirit Halloween store. It happened at the Solano Town Center shopping mall around 8.30 last night. One person was killed inside the store. Six others were shot. One woman says she was out shopping to get a last-minute costume for her two-year-old son when the gunfire suddenly erupted inside the store. Another witness says his wife was shopping at that Spirit Halloween when the violence broke out She just told me she heard some shots and people running, yelling and crying already because when, I don't know how many, I think she told me that she heard like five, six, seven shots when people started running. Terrified shoppers scrambled to safety. Some hid inside store dressing rooms and in the mall food court. Fairfield Police Chief Dan Marshall says detectives are reviewing security video and interviewing witnesses to find the person or people responsible. I believe there's an immediate threat right now.
