US President Donald Trump received several scenarios for a military attack on Iran for consideration, according to US officials and other informed sources. The Wall Street Journal reports this. The meeting with the American leader was attended by the head of the US Central Command Admiral Brad Cooper, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan Kaine.

It is noted that Admiral Cooper rarely meets with the president in person. The previous face-to-face meeting took place in July.

As previously reported, fears are growing in the Middle East about a new major conflict involving Israel, the United States, and Iran. Amid reports of preparations for a joint operation against Tehran, three factors have been identified that could influence the timing of a possible strike and the decisions of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu. For the US president, midterm elections are of particular importance: their results will determine the balance of power in Congress and affect the White House's ability to implement domestic and foreign policy during the remaining two years of the presidential term. Iran received a message that US Vice President J.D. Vance conveyed to Supreme National Security Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaei , but there has been no response yet .

Tehran insists that Washington fulfill all seven conditions put forward by Iran and considers any actions that could violate the established framework unacceptable.

As previously reported, Qatar, along with other mediators, is attempting to persuade Tehran to make concessions on its nuclear program in exchange for a partial easing of sanctions. These diplomatic efforts are aimed at preventing a potential week-long military campaign by the US and Israel, which is reportedly expected to take place after the US midterm elections.

US President Donald Trump confirmed that Washington is maintaining indirect contact with Iran through intermediaries. However, it remains unclear whether the parties will be able to reach an agreement.

The United States has warned several Middle Eastern countries and regional partners of the likely resumption of military operations against Iran following the midterm elections scheduled for November 3. At the same time, allies have been advised to consider the risk of retaliatory action from Tehran, The Times of Israel reports. According to two diplomats familiar with the situation, US officials transmitted the warnings through diplomatic and defense channels. The sources agreed to speak on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to publicly disclose the contents of such messages. The Wall Street Journal previously reported that Washington had notified several unnamed Gulf Arab states to prepare for a possible short-term but intense military operation against Iran after the elections. Washington's warnings are escalating tensions in the region. Middle Eastern countries are forced to consider the possibility of a new round of confrontation, which could be accompanied by Iranian retalia
