James Kaufman,
World News Report Today: China's air combat stealth GJ-11 drone is
combat operational,
the first of its kind pilotless air combat drone. The GJ-11,
also called the Mysterious Dragon, soars out of the shadows.
We do have several videos.
The GJ-11 unmanned combat air vehicle has a new name,
and has been officially shown flying alongside a J-20
and J-16D fighter.
A month after the emergence of satellite imagery that showed the GJ-11
sharp sword, stealth flying wing, uncrewed combat air vehicle,
in apparently semi-operational state, China has released
the first air-to-air video of the drone in operation.
China also revealed
that the official People's Liberation Army Air Force, the PLAAF, named
for the GJ-11, is a mysterious dragon.
Among the emergence of satellite imagery
that showed the GJ-11 stealthy flying wing on a
crewed combat vehicle, or UCAV,
in at least a semi-operational state, China has released
the first air-to-air video of the drone.
And as far as we know,
the first official imagery of any kind showing the real aircraft.
China also revealed
that the official People's Liberation Army Air Force, the PLAAF,
the new name for this GJ-11 is Mysterious Dragon,
alternatively translated as Fantasy Dragon.
This name appears to have superseded the sharp sword name.
It was previously applied,
which likely referred to a prototype and pre-production aircraft.
The development comes a little over a year after
the Warzone reported in detail on growing evidence
that the GJ-11 was moving even closer to operational status.
No pilots needed.
The GJ-11 entered development more than a decade ago.
It is widely assessed to be designed
to perform both penetrating air-to-surface strikes and intelligence,
surveillance, and reconnaissance missions.
It may also well be expected to take on other roles,
including air-to-air combat and electronic warfare.
You see, AVs of this size have long endurance.
Much longer than crewed tactical jet counterparts
while still carrying relevant payloads.
This gentleman will show you a few
of the flights that they have released.
The U.S. is saying this is real footage.
It doesn't look real to me, but they're calling it CCTV footage.
Three unmanned air combat vehicles
with one man vehicle here.
Looks like CGI.
They're also developing
The GJ-21 and GJ-7,
I will show you the larger one in just a moment.
Very maneuverable, very long range.
This is their 20th anniversary film here.
You'll see that the pride
and joy is this new unmanned air combat drone at the end.
I didn't know they had female pilots, but evidently they do.
They're trying to convince us they do, one of the two.
Remember, the GJ-11 is what we're talking about now.
They also have the GJ-21, I believe, or 20.
And they are treating
these as their pride and joy.
It's kind of their anniversary film here.
Y'all can see that this is no country
the U.S. wants to be messing with whatsoever.
Here she comes, the mysterious dragon, or the fantasy dragon.
There it goes, right there.
Look, it's leading the pack, folks.
Here's the GJ-21, a much larger aircraft.
Same idea.
There's also a GJ-7, a much smaller aircraft.
Same idea.
And for my subscribers that kept insisting
that their flat-top aircraft carrier was not nuclear,
well, the United States has flown over a satellite
and found that they're building two nuclear carriers currently.
And they show us why they know they're nuclear carriers.
That, I'm not addressing right now.
But, this is an awful lot of unmanned air combat drones
and air-to-ground combat zones.
God bless you guys.
Hang in there.
We're way behind, as usual.
Please, share, subscribe, and always remember,
anything's possible in the Zorro world.
