Alright, welcome back. We're still,
if you are still having trouble transitioning from your fashion
in the summer to fall, don't worry, we have got you covered.
Our good friend Matt Dillon here to help us break down
the season's standout colors, how to wear them for fall as well
and kind of transition that summer wardrobe.
Smart and great introduction
because what this segment is about and what we've created here.
is the transition and easy-to-follow colorways.
Okay.
So your aubergines, deep maroons, chocolate browns.
Yes.
So we'd use this as a base, because this is kind of the expected.
So the blacks, the bones, that kind of gives you that warm texture.
The texture on this, if you can get a close-up of Jacqueline on here,
it gives that full.
But then we would coat it up with some pop of color,
so you could bring in like that really deep purple,
something where it's like, and you...
Crush into it with the lip and the whole thing.
Okay.
So I think transitioning your wardrobe
is all about picking the colorways.
Makes it super simple.
You don't have to think about, will this work?
Will this work?
Yeah.
Pick your colors.
I love it.
Including pink.
Light pink, which is not something I would normally pick up.
Light pink and antique pink.
Okay.
And that leads us into our first model.
So let's bring it out, Sasha.
She's wearing Diana Kasabov, which is a Miami-based designer.
What I love about this is that the shimmer and sheen on it.
It feels like you've taken sandpaper and give it like,
taken it from that like suggested pink, that nylons,
into something a little bit more subdued and amazing.
I love the structure here.
We can transition and put a little pantyhose on her
for the evening.
I love the boots here.
These are Lindsay boots here.
If we can get a good close-up on those boots.
Chocolate brown boots.
Great chunky heel.
Comfort is key, especially as the nights get cooler.
Absolutely.
And get yourself a structured coat.
Doesn't have to be tigress, but, you know, Sasha always gives me...
I love a structured coat.
It feels like you're making that entrance,
and the shoulders is a whole detail.
Absolutely.
Just elevates it.
Sasha's ready to glam it out.
Get it, girl.
Thank you, darling.
Eve from Poppy Lash, the founder of Poppy Lash.
So what I'm obsessed here with, obviously,
Poppy Lash is known for fusing shapewear and fashion.
So Eve is really transcending the market and really pushing.
This dress has shapewear in it.
This dress has shapewear in it.
Wow.
The layering here, the shawl here really gives it that.
What I'm getting here is Eve is Julia Roberts in pretty well.
Oh, my goodness, yes.
Woo, woo, woo.
You don't need a Halloween.
We're doing the juxtaposition of the beautiful pleating
on the negligee here and the polka dots.
A polka dot, I think, is eternal across all seasons.
And then we've just buckled up a bell and really gotten this happen.
You know, haphazard with it.
You know, Eve, we love you.
Thank you, darling.
I'm loving this very fall life.
All right, my love.
This one as well.
This is a Diana Mirage from New York City.
I love some.
I love her.
We love her.
So what I love here is that your expected colors,
car keys, different things.
This is like a sheen, like a lower end of the green spectrum here.
What I love here is we've clashed it with a black tie.
And the color shoe is how we bring it all together.
So we have another Lindsay boot here.
And I just love like the subtle tones here.
It is like, again, probably right for this weather right now,
moving in probably the next four to six weeks.
And then we're going to add on top of this.
But I think this is super chic.
It's covered, it's very elegant, and I love it.
It's like, you know, we're on an expedition.
And I like the use of-
Minus the snakes.
Minus the snakes.
We have been on an expedition today
with the wild reptiles, have we not?
But you look incredible.
This is great. I think it's super chic.
I love big buttons and textures and colors.
Thank you, my darling.
Yes, I love the different combinations
of the colors too. Don't forget about
the men, darling.
With hands, of course not.
Okay, so what I'm loving here,
obviously plaid is an eternal thing.
Every man needs one good suit.
in their closet.
If we go deep here and look at the piping here with the colours,
it is the tonals of
the blue, it's got shades of purple in it,
and a tinge of the orange here.
So here is the blue and purple, which are the trending colours here.
I think this is just a really nice men's suit.
It goes, people could, depending if you're
colour blind, you're not sure what's going
on, it could be Hound's suit, or it's actually plaid.
Again, a simple, simple budget-friendly
sweater underneath, a great shoe.
My brother is popping.
Again, you have those different combinations
with the green, the burgundy, the browns,
and kind of putting it all together.
That's a good-looking lad.
All right, come on, my little lady.
Ooh, this is fun.
We got a little shade right here.
So royal blue.
If you're looking for a jean, this is the color of the season.
Okay.
Not washed out, not skinny.
You want this royal blue color that can go into a great boot like that.
So we're taking it back.
It's almost that 80s puffer vibe here.
This is a puppy lash.
Full, so this, she is all together, honey.
This is literally shapewear underneath here.
Super cute.
So let's look at the way we color comboed this.
The deep dark chocolate brown,
the royal blue chocolate brown boots, and here.
Well, I recognize that first.
Do you know what this bag is?
Oh, I know what this bag is.
Let's have a look at this bag.
Mixed in five, baby.
Mixed in five.
Woods by Jordan.
Obviously, Jordan Woods.
This is the lucky bag that won the championship, so they say.
The best marketing campaign.
That was for free.
She's incredible.
Absolutely.
Shout out to Elizabeth Woods, the mommy.
Look at the way this just finishes everything.
Perfect.
Yeah, just a pop of, a different version of a pop of color hair.
My girl's got attitude for days, girl.
Last but not least.
Come on, Serena.
All right, here, again, another beautiful...
So this is the Aubergine Deeper Rich Purple
that I was talking about.
So obviously here,
we've got the beautiful pleating into the lace here.
Beautiful negligee up here.
I put the puffer coat on it.
So let's look at what the tone was here.
We have the great slingback.
Those are really nice.
Courtesy of Serena Harney.
And then I'm loving this.
This is just great for the shoulders.
Again, this is shapewear.
So Serena's feeling empowered.
She's ready to walk the runway, honey.
Give us a twirl, baby.
Show me what you're working with.
Ooh, okay.
I mean, look at her.
These are the colors of the season.
Every color here is rich.
So don't be afraid to play with the colors, right?
But listen, we're not talking fluro, girl.
Okay, okay.
We're talking those rich, elevated, elegant vibes.
Can we bring everybody back on so we can see all the colors together?
And you'll really get the vibe of how...
When you think, when I was putting this together and I was like,
you know, what colors am I seeing?
This is where I find my patterns.
At every fashion week, you look to the street style fashion
and you start to see what people
are experimenting with and what they're wearing.
Because us, as connoisseurs, we actually set the trends.
So these are the trends.
MD Effect it, baby.
Pops of Royal Blue.
A really off green.
Shapewear is a tonal one, thanks to Miss Poppy Lush Eve.
And obviously, the dark chocolate browns.
And I really want to see you in the Diana Casablanca dress.
That looks beautiful.
I know.
I think you, especially with this, with the bangs, baby.
I love it.
I had a snack and we're ready to go.
There you go.
It could be my next Halloween costume, maybe.
There you go.
For 30 seconds.
For 30 seconds.
All right, there's where you can find Matt on social media.
Give him a follow.
He's always got great content on there as well.
We'll have more after a quick break when we come back.
