And this morning, a driver is facing several charges
for a crash at a Brooklyn Halloween event.
It injured six people.
It happened outside of the 83rd Precinct
on Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick
just before 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Police say Michael Marsh, 56 years old,
drove onto the sidewalk and hit a parked ambulance
and some people who were just walking by.
Investigators say three children, six...
Eight and 11, as well as three women, are in the hospital.
Thank goodness they're in stable condition.
A witness says she saw the driver flying towards the crowded sidewalk.
All I saw was the little black boy, he got hit.
The lady, the Cinderella lady got hit with the object
cause there was a garbage right there
and it flew up and the object like hit her.
So her whole back of her head was like bleeding really bad.
So they had to like cut the hair
and then they had to wrap it.
It was really bad.
And then they had to remove her shoes.
And then the other older lady, she was like an old lady.
She was on the floor laying there.
Well, Mr. Marsh is now charged with vehicular assault,
several DWI charges,
and driving on a sidewalk, the passenger,
46 years old, has not been charged.
