The Isaiah Factor
Uncensored starts now.
And welcome to The Factor Uncensored.
Thank you for joining us tonight.
We have another great show planned for you just around the corner,
November 3rd, Election Day.
So how about active shooter training,
panic buttons in place, surveillance cameras everywhere?
What are we talking about?
How some states are preparing for the big day, fortifying the vote.
But will it scare some voters off?
Let's talk about it tonight with our guests.
And our guests are here on The Factor Uncensored
talking about fortifying the vote around the
country as we approach the midterms.
And of course, many states, counties are taking all
kinds of precautions, things that we have never seen before.
For example, nationwide bulletproof
glass being installed, ballistic doors, cameras, panic buttons.
And we're showing you a list of
some of the things that we're seeing around
the country where they've gone and taken extraordinary
Extraordinary measures like Georgia.
South Carolina, Michigan, Minnesota,
New Jersey will have this graphic up showing some of the
things that they're doing to ensure that the vote is safe
and secure. And of course,
we've had the Trump administration saying there's massive fraud
that has gone on in the 2020
election. There's massive fraud potentially happening in this election.
So these counties
counties and states are taking as many precautions to satisfy.
President Trump and many of the voters out there.
So we have the experts to talk about it,
looking at these extraordinary measures we're seeing
at the polls this year.
We have with us political consultant Dallas Jones
and Dr. Dietrich von Biedenfeld, our political
expert. So first of all, Dallas,
when you see this growing list of precautions that
are being taken around the country, your thoughts about this?
Well, I think it's extraordinary,
but it's also necessary and based in precedent.
I mean, what we saw after the 2020 election,
we saw in states like Georgia, where federal
agents came in and seized ballots.
In many of these places, when ballots are, when ballots.
Box or tabulation machines are touched.
It can put the entire integrity of the whole election in question.
And so these preventative measures are really a sign
of the times that we're living in, where elected officials,
election officials, rather, don't want to be accused of.
Of being fraudulent or having fraudulent activity
or any of the things that come with it.
And so, you know, some of these extraordinary measures
are based on the times that we're living in.
And many people believe that, you know,
pending the result of this election, we are going to see
an onslaught of federal intervention in states across the country.
Incredible. And Dr. Dietrich von Biedenfeld,
let's take a look at Georgia really quick.
Active shooter training for the staff at the voters offices there.
Panic buttons installed.
Martin Doors. Your thoughts about
the extraordinary measures we're seeing around
the country when it comes to the midterms
and the latest election votes?
Absolutely. These are preventative measures that are taken
into account. A lot of vitriol, the climate of our polling
and our political system has taken a very negative tone.
We've seen people, candidates attacking each other's parents.
We've seen them attacking their spouses. And so when you create
that vitriol and that sort of hostility, it's natural to
presumed that this sort of antagonism could translate
into supporters of those candidates.
And so just like we had
the Kosarek Act here after some attacks on state judges,
where courthouse security was then hardened
as a preventative measure in anticipation of
a more probable occurrence.
Similarly, what we see at these polling stations
is, of course, very extraordinary.
I would agree with Dallas on that. But
also we see it across the country, Colorado, the Carolinas.
And so these panic buttons, the additional training, the secure
rooms that certain places are instituting
and bulletproof glass is not cheap.
So these are anticipating possible concerns of active shooters
and hostile individuals trying to disrupt polling.
And Dallas, how do we prevent
though with all of these measures being taken? How do we prevent
the average voter out there from being intimidated?
And do you think in some instance,
that is the purpose to intimidate voters
and keep them away from the polls.
Well, the Secretary of Homeland Security,
Mark Mullins, has said that there will be
no ICE intervention in the election,
of course, unless it's needed and unless
they are serving a warrant.
And so part of the efforts that Dietrich talked about is that it's
preventative to assure people, voters,
that they are safe to come to the ballot. Let me also point
This is a bipartisan issue.
You know, this is happening in red states
and blue states where they are in preparation,
Thank you very much.
where they are preparing for anything to happen.
And so I think at the end of the day, everybody wants safe elections.
Everybody wants their voters
to feel safe going to the polling locations.
Now, to your question, we have to wait to see how this all pans out.
There have been reports in some locations
of unmarked cars in near polling locations
in highly immigrant areas.
There have been reports of intimidation tactics
that are taking place at varying polling locations.
And so, you know, we'll have to wait to see how this all plays out.
But at this point, you know,
people do not expect a federal intervention or seizure of
ballots.
All right, and Dr. von Biedenfeld,
for those who feel like they're intimidated,
what recourse, if any, do they have?
Or should they just say, well, this is for my protection.
Let me just go vote, get the process over with,
and let my voice be heard and call it a day.
For those who may be feeling a bit intimidated with
all of these measures that have
been taken, really quick and wrap us up.
And I recommend people go in groups, go with
Groups of trusted people so that you have witnesses.
And that can also add to your
security because a lot of this is also
to make sure that these polling workers show up.
Because we want to create an environment where
just like people don't show up for jury service,
we want to make sure that our election officials
are there to make sure that this runs smoothly.
We'll be back with more Factor On Sense
and talking about some New Orleans Saints fans
who found themselves in the middle of chaos in France,
of all places. We'll be back.
