Apple Caramel Lava Cake is just a perfect autumn dessert. This warm, gooey caramel apple lava cake is a show stopper. More decadent than molten chocolate cake: one filled with warm caramel and spiced apples. This is my favourite apple caramel recipe. They are pretty quick to make and this recipe serves 3-4 people depending on your ramekins.

Welcome to my channel, Alice's Yummy Food.
So, I've got a special surprise for you today.
I'm making caramel apple lava cake, which is so, so good, guys.
It's perfect for this autumn,
and if you fancy something small and kind of like warm and fuzzy,
so it gives you that kind of nice feeling,
this is the perfect recipe for you.
And I've got loads of other lava cakes coming up,
because I've got so many requests,
and I'm just making sure that you guys enjoy it.
And yeah, let's get baking!
Add your biscuits into a ziplock bag
and crush them with your rolling pin until it resembles
nice and sandy consistency.
Into your ramekins, spray your cooking oil or use butter,
then add your crushed biscuits
and roll around until it's all covered.
Next we're going to peel our apples.
You can use any apples that you like
and chop them up into small pieces.
Add butter into your pan and then add your chopped apples,
then add your spices and sugar
and mix everything together.
We're going to cook this for about five to eight minutes
until the apples soften. Set the apples aside to cool down.
In a different bowl, add your
eggs and whisk them for about five
to eight minutes until they double in size. Then add
your caramel, mix everything together
and then add more caramel and mix it again. We
don't want to lose the volume in the mixture.
Then add your plain sifted flour and mix until
it's all incorporated.
The mixture should be nice and runny. Add your caramel
mixture into your prepared tins
then add more caramelized apples in the middle
and if you want add more caramel inside
and top it up with more mixture. Cook
your lava cakes for about 15 to 20 minutes at 200 Celsius or 400
Fahrenheit. Once they're done take them out,
leave them for two minutes to cool
down and loosen the edges around with your knife.
To serve it add some icing
sugar and some whipped caramel cream and more cookies on top and enjoy!
