Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly jetted out of the UK with their kids as her dad, Thomas Markle, remains under investigation for child pornography allegations. A friend close to the Suits alum told Hello Magazine, she's just really, really upset, explaining that she and Harry took their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, somewhere overseas. Though it's unclear where exactly they're headed. The insider told the publication, she keeps on looking at Lily, and she's in tears, and thinking about all the children, the alleged victims. According to Markle's pal, the actress decided a while ago, before the news made headlines, that she was going to take herself away from the media and not look at anything for her own mental health. However, the Duchess of Sussex has been bombarded with messages from her friends saying how sorry they are. But it's just been an emotional rollercoaster for her, the insider claimed. A rep for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry wasn't immediately available to Page Six for comment. The couple traveled out of town after news broke that Thomas Sr. was being investigated for hundreds, if not thousands, of child sex abuse images, which were allegedly recently discovered at his home in the Philippines by his son, Thomas Jr. According to a report by The Sun, Thomas Jr. claimed he found the images in boxes and gave them to local authorities. Meghan addressed the allegations against the patriarch in a statement to Page Six, saying she was deeply distressed by the claims and shared that she learned about her father's alleged wrongdoings back in 2018, the same year she married Prince Harry. At the time, the businesswoman was told the allegations were being investigated, leading to her estrangement from Thomas Sr., who was notably not at the royal wedding. Thomas Sr., however, denied the allegations against him, referring to them as sick lies, in an interview with the Daily Mail. His daughter, Samantha, has also defended her father, claiming Thomas Jr. made up the claims as revenge for being cut off financially.
