Hozier makes surprise appearance at Macklemore's 'Free Palestine' tour
Oct 27, 2026
I couldn't tell you what an honour it is to be here this evening.
I want to thank each and every single one
of you for being here with us.
Thank you so much to Macklemore
for inviting us to be part of it.
This moment into something as beautiful as tonight and I'm so proud.
I'm so proud of my country and the way they're showing up.
Palestinian humanity and just
showing solidarity from here.
I also just want to take a minute if I can.
I know there's incredible causes that a lot
of the funds raised tonight are going towards.
towards I just wanted to offer just two minutes
to an issue you might be aware
of 55 students in Gaza
who are awaiting for their visas to be approved for
scholarship places that they have earned
and scholarship places that are waiting for them
here in Ireland and the government has
not approved their visa applications
code if you just want to take a photo of it
if you just want to save the link you
want to follow it that is for a petition
that is to pressure the government to
expedite these visa applications.
This has happened before, it happened last year and
this can be solved with ministerial discretion.
It's an absolute wonder, it's baffling why it
hasn't been solved yet
but if you want to sign a petition there it is behind me there.
