You just moved back to the UK. How come?
Opportunities for the family,
being able to put the kids in a British school, has meant a lot to me.
Prince Harry is finally coming clean about why he
and Meghan packed up the minivan,
actually it was a private jet,
and moved back to the UK with their kids and their two dogs.
Harry said it was opportunities for the family.
It's one of several revelations in his sit-down with GQ.
Harry revealed that giving their kids, Prince Archie,
age 7, and Princess Lilibet, who is 5,
the experience of going to a British school was important to him.
The move across the pond also allows them to be closer to family,
friends, and what he called endless playdates.
His wife Meghan Markle has also been finding social time thanks
to Pilates at the members-only club Soho Farmhouse.
Chic.
An insider told The Sun that Markle is using
the classes to unwind and make new friends,
calling the former Suits actress chatty and polite.
Last week, the mom of two was also heard saying,
'It's great to be back,' while hugging supporters
and smiling for selfies
in the couple's first official joint
public appearance in Nottingham, UK."
As for the elephant in the room, the royal family,
Page Six exclusively reported that the move is all about King Charles.
Harry wanted to be closer to his father, who is 77 and battling cancer.
Harry also opened up to GQ about the estrangement
with his older brother Prince William,
describing it as a massively relatable issue
that so many families can relate to.
— How are you going to work it out?
— Well, some people don't want it to work out. I want it to work out.
— You do?
— Of course I do.
There's no—again, with everything else that's going on in the world,
the most important thing is to reconcile. That's the key point.
You hear that? Harry wants to bury the hatchet with William.
While he said scars stick around forever,
he also encouraged others to let go of the past.
Why? Because he said there's enough drama in the
world. Hear, hear. And speaking of William,
the heir to the UK throne recently stepped up for his
dad to welcome the Sultan of Oman at the start of his state visit.
William greeted the Sultan in
London before they went to Windsor,
where they were joined by the rest of the royal family,
including King Charles III,
who looked dashing in a top hat and tails, and the future queen,
Kate Middleton, aka Catherine, Princess of Wales,
in a dark emerald green. Since Charles' cancer
diagnosis in 2024, William has taken
on more prominent duties as he prepares to be king.
But the question on all of our minds is,
will he have room in his heart for Harry and Meghan?
