James Kaufman, World News Report today.
Remember, red lines in the sand are for fools only.
Trump got played big time.
The whole world is laughing.
His two-week ceasefire did not exactly work out.
Iran has been bombing multiple countries,
including hitting Kuwait's oil facilities, power plants,
and desalination plants, just hours into the ceasefire.
They've also been hitting Israel, Saudi Arabia,
and several other countries in the Middle East.
I'm afraid the only deal really made
was a ceasefire between Donald Trump and the President of Pakistan,
who was the only person at the meeting.
I assume that Trump needed a few weeks
to restock missiles since we gave them all to the Ukraine and Israel?
since the so-called ceasefire attacks have increased tenfold
with Iran hitting its Middle
Eastern neighbors and Israel hard.
I guess they called Trump's bluff and he was doing just that.
At least if he attacks them now they may not know exactly
when it's going to occur so they won't
have children and old ladies surrounding their petroleum
and electrical infrastructure. It's the
only good part I can think of. How embarrassing.
Iran launched a massive attack against Kuwait
hours after the announcement of a two-week ceasefire.
Trump is really influencing people
and making friends.
It appears they did not get the memo or they could care less.
According to the Kuwait Army,
air defense intercepted an intense wave of enemy drones
starting at around 8 a.m. local time for 5 GMT time,
although several managed to strike strategic targets.
The Kuwaiti armed forces confirmed
that they intercepted at least 28 Iranian drones
and that some were specifically targeted against vital oil facilities,
power plants,
and water desalination plants in the southern part of the country.
The Ministry of Defense detailed that the impacts caused significant
material damage to the energy infrastructure of the country.
The good news, no fatalities have been reported so far.
This new episode occurs in the midst of a fragile truce announced
by President Donald Trump and accepted by Tehran,
supposedly mediated by Pakistan.
Iranian state media, such as IRIB,
justify the attacks as retaliation for alleged previous bombings
on the oil island of Lavan on Iranian territory.
The Kuwaiti Minister of Foreign Affairs reacted firmly and demanded
that Iran and its proxies immediately cease all hostilities.
Diplomatic sources consulted by Reuters
and Al Jazeera agree that the attacks highlight
the low credibility of any agreement with the Ayatollah's regime.
The official statement from Kuwait Army said on X,
Clearly, since 8 a.m., we have been responding to intense,
hostile Iranian attacks. They are ongoing.
And let's not forget, Iran has also reclosed the Hormuz Straits.
Up tight.
Way to go, Trump.
Let's listen to what the update is.
of the missiles and it's always quite dramatic
when you see those interceptors going after it
and these ones might disappear behind
our building here we're going to lose sight of them
but they're still quite lethal and coming into Tel Aviv
and I didn't see an interception in this
case should be able to hear it in a second
or so and it's still quite lethal when there's an
interception most of what we see out here
are those cluster bombs in recent days but when you
get a conventional warhead with that powerful
explosive, obviously
you hope that the interceptors can get it. And the interceptors
are about 90% effective.
But that means 10% get through.
And those conventional warheads we've seen are quite
powerful. They leave great craters
in the ground. Still waiting to hear the
impact on this one, which should
come any second. But we saw
two lights in the sky.
There. And there was another flash off in the
distance there. So there was quite a
big explosion. So that sounded like more
of a conventional warhead
that got through. I can't really tell you if that was an impact
or an interception because
we lost sight of that one, Jesse. Yeah,
you could definitely hear that. Real quick,
how long does it take for an Iranian missile
to travel to Tel Aviv? What did you say?
I'd say about 10 minutes usually. 10 minutes?
Yeah, about 10 minutes from when we first get
the alert till I'm hearing more impacts off
in the distance from when we first get the alert to
when the sirens start wailing.
Well, maybe the remnants of the Iranian regime either didn't get
the memo or they did and they don't care
so we'll uh obviously keep a close jesse i'm afraid they
did get the memo and could care less that's
the game they play i thought i explained that to y'all
trying to make a deal with someone
from the middle east doesn't always work out the way you think it
is remember these people commit mass genocide against
their own citizens i think they care
about a piece of paper or something agreed
to on a telephone come on man since the ceasefire began
iran has attacked israel qatar the uae kuwait
and bahrain and i know that they attacked qatar the uae
kuwait and bahrain heavily
and it looked like they continue to attack israel very heavily as well
Obviously, they're telling Orange Man to go F himself
and see if he has any missiles left
or if he's going to do anything about it
and how long it's going to take.
They didn't stick to any of the rules, any of them.
I think it's laughable that he, well,
bragged several times yesterday about how close they were to a deal
and then announced that they had a deal
the minute he was supposed to start bombing them.
And, of course, Iran never stopped bombing all these countries,
including Israel, for even one moment.
And those ships went through the Hormuz Straits.
You know, people were really excited this morning,
really dumb, and stock markets were shooting up.
But now they're realizing that, well, everything
is not as Trump and his administration laid it out, period.
It's more so that we're on the defensive here, big time.
God bless you guys.
Let me know what y'all think.

We can trust nothing the Iranians tell us
and very little that our own government tells us.
