James Kaufman will news report today.
I bet you can guess where the billionaires are moving.
If you watch my channel,
the country-fied city with $35 million estates and Lamborghinis
and barns to put them in,
America's wealthiest residents are increasingly abandoning traditional
luxury enclaves in New York, Los Angeles,
Chicago, and other, well, wonderful places
fueling an extraordinary real estate boom
in an unlikely corner of the world.
Yes, you guessed it. As usual, I was right again.
South Nashville, Tennessee,
once best known for country music and southern hospitality,
is rapidly transforming into the playground for the multi-millionaires,
complete with sprawling estates,
exotic supercars, and exclusive private clubs.
And again, barns for those supercars, right?
One particular extravagant estate near Franklin,
just south of Nashville, Tennessee,
recently hit the market for a staggering $34.8 million.
The sprawling estate features more than 122 acres,
a 13,000-square-foot mansion,
four barns, and extensive equestrian facilities.
that's a lot of property for your money period we
also saw a 33.5 million dollar penthouse
at nashville's four seasons towers with buyers bidding
on it from as far away as dubai according
to bloomberg you know to get 122 acres
in a mansion for 34.8 million dollars well that's
chump change where I come from.
We have homes here in Houston on a few acres that sell for
over $100 million. So, quote, prices have just jumped.
Jamie Parson, a high-flying real estate
agent said, I know a property that sold in 2021
for just under $6 million. It just closed for
over 18 million dollars and if they did any work
to it it wasn't much at all the flood of new easy
money is also reportedly supercharging Nashville's luxury scene
the super rich are displacing the
merely affluent this is well one of the professors
at Vanderbilt that has been doing surveys that
makes them merely affluent, at least to themselves, seem poor.
They're saying, I used to be on top of
the world, now I'm just a schmo.
That translates into a jerk trying to make a living, believe it or
not. I didn't look it up.
To the outsider, of course, they all look rich.
Tennessee's lack of a state
income tax, abundance of land, and booming corporate
economy have turned the region into an increasingly
irresistible destination for wealthy Americans seeking
to escape the high cost and heavy tax
burdens associated with major coastal cities.
But that's really not all, is it? They're all
trying to escape the social influencers that don't like the country,
the social influencers
that ruined all the big cities.
Yes, we all know who I'm talking about, and no one wants to be a
part of any of these big blue sanctuary cities.
Now, I'm the only one that's going to say it.
No one else will, but they're trying to escape
the disenfranchised losers that have taken over
every large city in the U.S. This is why I always told you
when my daughter becomes 17,
I'm out of Texas, which is less than 18 months,
and on my way to South Nashville. I guess I nailed
it. Now Bloomberg knows. I guess that ruins everything as usual.
I'll have a line of disenfranchised
losers behind me. God bless, folks. Enjoy the show.
Please give us a thumbs up and share.
