James Kaufman will news report today. Ladies and gentlemen, the White House has indicated that J.D. Vance is leading virtual negotiations with Iran. Yes, I'm kind of on their side. There's such a small chance that they're going to agree to any of our demands. Why waste the jet fuel? However, they are in negotiations all day today. and into tomorrow and we should start seeing bombs drop about four o'clock our time uh it should be dark by about then so tomorrow really is the big day although so many people mention wednesday well it will be wednesday at that time in iran we'll hear a little bit about what jd vance is up to right now again virtual talks being led by the Pakistani government and well my belief is that this is just more stall tactics and iran would ask for extra days to try to prepare even more thoroughly for any type of land invasion or additional bombing as promised trump did say he is taking out all of the bridges, all of the electrical infrastructure. I say, play hardball. Take out the desalination plants. Instead of just leaving them without electricity, let's leave them without water, too. Now, I know it sounds harsh, but unless we play hardball, nothing will get done. These people are in a religious war, something that most Americans don't understand, and we have to use everything we have, every resource we have, to get them to agree to any of our demands. We haven't changed our demands one bit, and they have indicated that they have no interest in agreeing to them. It's another huge waste of time. I believe J.D. will be negotiating via zoom although the u.s has sent a party to pakistan out of respect well that said but the bombs and missiles to start flying at some point midday tomorrow into tomorrow evening uh let's listen to what cbs has to say about reports coming out of the white house country will send negotiators to Pakistan. The vice president is expected to lead those talks, but the White House has not said when he will leave. We're talking to them. With just days until a ceasefire with Iran is scheduled to end, President Trump told multiple news outlets on Sunday morning that J.D. Vance would not be going. But shortly after, the White House said Vance would, in fact, lead the talks, along with President's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. The vice president leading shows the level of engagement from the U.S. side, that we are absolutely serious. On Face the Nation, U.N. Ambassador Mike Waltz said the U.S. will present the same deal that led to negotiations collapsing last week. Democrat Tim Kaine's Vance presence adds weight to the negotiation. Using Witkoff and Kushner doesn't really make sense. Vance or Rubio or Walz is a different matter. They are the kinds of folks who should be doing this. But questions remain about who from the Iranian side is authorized to make a deal. Who's in charge? Well, look, again, the Iranian regime, we've put them in chaos. Any deal that comes out of this will have to absolutely be verifiable and be enforceable. The bottom line is these two countries do not trust each other and haven't for decades. The first marathon round of talks lasted for 21 hours and no deal was reached, signaling there may be many more hours of negotiations ahead to establish a lasting peace deal.
