We are going to be watching for clouds increasing by tonight.
But if you're headed out and about, early is the time to do it.
This is a live look at Kalaloch Lodge right now.
Some of those clouds starting to roll in with the front
as well as that approaching storm system.
We haven't seen really any official rainfall in those buckets just yet.
Most of the rain that's been showing up on the radar
so far this morning has been so light that it's
not even really coming in as official rainfall totals.
You can see on the Doppler radar some of the rain showers
that are trying to stream on in here.
Some of this is evaporating before it hits the ground,
and some of it is coming down as such that fine mist that it is.
That's why we're not seeing anything officially yet,
but that will change in the next few hours.
Temperatures have been cool.
In fact, we've got still upper 30s around parts
of Shelton as well as Olympia.
Look at the temperatures, though.
Once you get to the east side of the mountains,
we're talking 20s and 30s.
And that's where we've got some frost advisories posted, especially
for Wenatchee early this morning, down south toward Kelso as well.
And then how about this?
Freeze warnings for areas around Yakima all
the way over into Walla Walla.
This is going to be in effect for around another half hour or so.
They'll let that expire right around 10 o'clock.
Okay, let's time out the rainfall.
So we do have that front on the way as well as that disturbance.
So we will start to see
the rainfall increasing toward the evening hours.
The best chance that window for the rainfall will
be late tonight into early Sunday morning.
So we're talking overnight hours.
That's where we'll start to see
the rain really filling in around the I-5 corridor.
Generally very light here, but you can see we do have some pockets
of some moderate to heavier downpours of rain.
Breezy winds as well with some of those pockets there off to the south.
And then the other thing we're watching
is that the snow levels will be coming down a bit.
So right around 4,000 to 5,000 feet,
a dusting of snow up in those higher elevations will be
possible right around game time.
So I paused this close to 5.30, so that's pretty close to
kickoff time at Lumen Field down at the SoDo District there.
Now, there are going to be
plenty of clouds and it will be cool, but a stray shower,
I'm not going to totally rule it out only
because we do still have some activity in and around the area.
I do think the game is going
to be more dry than wet chances as we look ahead
at that sunset tracker we are gearing up for that
time change it is just around a week away now hard
to believe we're going to fall back on november
1st and then there comes a pacific standard time
with those sunsets coming in in the four o'clock
hour highs today will remain cool lots
of low 50s up there around everett bellingham 54 in bremerton
and 56 degrees in Shelton.
Temperatures over toward the east side underneath partly to mostly
cloudy skies, 57 in Issaquah, 56 in Kent.
Off to the south, we'll look for temperatures close to
54 in Lakewood. Seven-day forecast will show unsettled weather
for the week ahead. Now,
this is a huge change from what we've been seeing in October so far.
We've got at least a small
chance for rain almost each and every day through Thursday.
It does look like it should clear out
in time for Halloween coming up next weekend.
