Stephen Hubbard, a retired teacher from Michigan, who was wrongfully detained in Russia for four-and-a-half years is home in the United States.
Bart Marcois, president of Marcois Partners International Corporation (MPIC) and a former State Department official, joined NTD’s Steve Lance to discuss President Donald Trump’s negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin for Hubbard’s release.
He also addressed the media’s criticism of Trump for recently waiving a major bipartisan congressional sanctions package on Russia, noting that the media understood the president was handling a serious issue with Putin.
Marcois also said Europe has to put its troops on lines that are agreed upon, so that their troops are the tripwire.
