Will Hardy after Utah Jazz Drop Opener to Memphis: 'It's a Pretty Ugly Game'

Alright, it's a pretty ugly game. It's never quite as bad as it feels, but we talked about pregame. The possession game is huge in our league now. They got 17 more shots than we did. You can almost end the discussion there. They beat us up on the glass pretty hard. I thought 18 turnovers was a product of not moving the ball not making simple plays um you know there's sometimes basketball truly is as simple as shoot it when you're open and pass it when you're not um i felt like tonight we over dribbled we played in the crowd and it put us in some really bad spots um credit to Memphis they played really hard i think uh you know Ty Jerome had a big night made 12 two-point baskets. I don't think our guards did a good enough job of squaring the ball back up and contesting with their length, but we'll get back to work tomorrow and try to be ready for Friday.
