Ace Bailey's Impact in Utah Jazz's Opener vs. Grizzlies and Playing for 48 Minutes

I think his defense is standing out. He's super active, length, pursuing. His conditioning is so much better than it was last year. He worked hard this summer on his body. I thought Ace had a good all-around game tonight. That's what we want from him. We want Ace to be a player who can impact winning on two sides of the ball. Yeah, it's a 48-minute game. And the best players, the best teams are the ones that can focus for longer. And I think sometimes when your offense gets a little bit disjointed, as much as coaches don't want it to be that way, that can lead to your brain getting a little bit scrambled in general in terms of what's important. And I thought that our defense sort of went with our offense there in the second quarter. We've got a group of guys that are still trying to find their identity in terms of who's going to do what on the offensive side. It's something we're going to have to continue to work at every single day. But I believe in the group. I believe in their ability to learn each other and make some adjustments tomorrow.
