James Kaufman, World News Report today.
Ladies and gentlemen, look at all
the earthquakes we've had in the last hour,
especially on the U.S. West Coast.
That is far from the story of the day.
The story of the day is this experimental explosion.
Very, very strange.
What we have here is something at zero kilometers,
which means on the surface,
and that's how it's being reported by the USGS,
My first thoughts were submarine,
the U.S. taking out a foreign country's submarine that was right there
on our continental shelf just off the coast of Florida.
I have found nothing, nothing to indicate,
well, really any additional information,
except for it was an experimental explosion,
and we can't seem to get any more information on it.
very very strange but definitely in an area
that well you might suspect a foreign submarine to be
operating in the other story of the day
and we are seeing a lot of activity today we have six
total earthquakes in the Yellowstone caldera here there's three here
on top of each other
The biggest one being only a 3.3,
but it's right on the caldera here, and a total of six here.
So we've got to keep our eyes on that.
That's at least a bit of action with that 3.3 at 6.5 kilometers.
But that experimental explosion is,
well, worrying me, to say the least.
It is being covered
on volcanoesandearthquakes.com and probably Volcano Discovery as well.
It's being reported as an earthquake,
a 3.9 magnitude earthquake, also at zero kilometers.
It should be the surface of the water.
Now, it looks like the Europeans
also came in with actual information on this.
The Europeans came in at 3.9, also at zero kilometers.
Zero kilometers is what has me.
Again, it registered as a earthquake here.
Let's get some detailed information.
About one hour ago, a 3.9 earthquake.
I hope there's a seismogram on it
so we can see exactly what it looks like.
If it's man-made, we'll know it.
Now, a 3.9 magnitude is nothing to play around with.
They said it's equivalent
to about 10.7 tons of TNT going off.
And, well, zero reports of folks feeling it.
I'll have to look at the shake map.
The USGS is reporting this.
Let's see what else we can find.
All right, only the USGS and the Europeans are reporting this quake.
So we have no additional information.
Their information matches perfectly as far as time,
depth, and magnitude.
How many times I've tried here, the seismic signature,
which would tell me everything I needed to know.
Well, it refuses to load.
Never seen this occur before.
Remember, if it's man-made,
the first line will be by far the longest, the highest.
And from there, it would dwindle off.
If it was an earthquake,
we'd have a smaller line moving into the peak of the quake.
but we'll never know what it looks like folks
so i'm left with nothing but questions we have the
six earthquakes in the Yellowstone Caldera nothing
that's well two out of the ordinary and then we
have this experimental explosion that came in at 3.9
which to me is completely out of the ordinary
i know what you guys think's going
on in the comments below please give us a thumbs up and
share if you can
and god bless you all remember anything's possible bizarro world
