Not a bad day of weather.
I was out there earlier, actually in the afternoon,
and it's so nice, I would say.
Yes, it's warm, but we're not experiencing
the humidity, and we've got sunshine.
We're seeing a little bit of that on our Mac
Hike forward camera behind me here.
Definitely some cloud coverage, too,
but overall, it's been a pretty pleasant day.
Our temperatures have gone up, though,
compared to what they were doing when that cold front came in,
and we actually got to experience a few days more in the 70s,
and then now we're back in the 80s,
And today we hit 87 degrees for our high.
Part of what's also making it nice with the lower humidity,
we're able to get cooler at night.
So we had some 40s.
Now we're back in the 50s.
So we started at 56 degrees for our day today.
It's been a bit of a roller coaster
ride, though, from these cold fronts.
So we get warm, we get cold, we get warm, we get cold.
We are technically, though, going to kind of stay at the same range,
at least for now, as we head through the rest of the week.
If you're stepping outside currently,
we're dropping down to those low 80s mostly.
It's 82 in Burnet right now, 82 in Mason.
It is 84 in La Grange, 89 in Bastrop, 83 here in Austin,
84 in Round Rock, 81 over in Lago Vista.
We also have a nice little wind around 5 miles
per hour that's coming through.
No big changes there. It's going to stay that way,
so no picking up in the wind speeds.
And then for tonight and tomorrow,
almost a repeat of what we did today.
So, kind of getting a bit repetitive, but same idea.
Dropping into those upper 50s for our morning low,
back in the mid-80s for our afternoon high.
All of that, again, coming with sunshine.
And then your dew points,
still where we like them, right in the dry zone.
So they're staying in the 40s at this point.
They're going to be there through the rest of the week,
which means it's going to feel nice.
Your allergy report also hasn't seen a lot of changes for today.
Either ragweed still high, mold moderate, and then grass is low.
Skywise, looking at our satellite radar,
we do have a few spots seeing some of those clouds.
It's probably a little bit of what we
were seeing on that Mac Hike Ford camera.
So you might get some clouds moving in,
but overall, it's still pretty quiet.
Yesterday, I was showing you Arizona and New Mexico
and how they're seeing some severe weather.
They're still doing that today, so it's another active day for them.
This giant red square here is a tornado watch.
They've got severe thunderstorm watches,
and then all of this orange, those are severe thunderstorm warnings.
So for them, it's another day where they're experiencing a lot.
But back here at home, it's quiet, and we're actually going to stay
pretty quiet as far as the skies go through the rest of the week.
We do have some small chances
for rain coming Monday night into Tuesday, it looks like.
small chances in total and actually at this point I
was showing this for the last couple days and
I told you since it was a ways out the numbers were going to change
and they did and unfortunately
they went down so now it doesn't look like we're going
to see a ton of rain from this coming
through but we still need anything we can get we'll take it
because our drought monitor does
show a lot of us under some type of drought condition it's
been getting a little bit worse
since we had that last rainfall event
so we want to see more of this rain now up until the rain
comes in we'll stay in those mid 80s by the time we get
to the work week we start to see those
temperatures go down a little bit, we'll have some moisture
a little more moisture in the air too
still staying around average though
which is the low 80s, that moisture that I mentioned we're kind
of fluctuating up and down with these dew points
but overall in general we are staying in the
comfortable zone, so that's the good news, it should
still feel pretty refreshing out there as we head
through the rest of the week, that's the case
for tonight, except we might be in more of the low 60s
in the upper 50s for our morning low, mid 80s sticking through
then they start to go down to
low 80s with that small opportunity for rainfall
and in general just kind of staying quiet, there's
not a lot happening but at least it's
not our summer quiet where it's hot and it's sweaty
it's at least pleasant
and fall, I think I'd call it that, that's pretty good right there
and then Friday with the World Series starting
60, yeah, you can sit outside watch the game, right
Hoodie, game, well, we'll be here
I don't know about hoodie.
But other people, that'll be out and about
hopefully watching us on Friday.
Yeah, perfect.
Exactly.
Perfect fall weather, the Fall Classic
Thank you, Leslie.
