BOB-O-WEEN: Merchantville Transforms Into Monsterville

Normally, we call it Merchantville, but today, it's Monsterville. The entire town re-transforms themselves into a Halloween spectacular. Merchantville, New Jersey, there's the main entrance into the town. Welcome to Monsterville. The town of Merchantville turns into Monsterville. Take a look at this home right here, the little smoky cauldron. We think that that could be body parts. You know, Dr. Mike has his body shoppers body parts segment some dr Mike body parts in there and that's just the beginning of it. Take a look at this. So the entire town Decorates for Halloween and they transform they even changed the name to Monsterville This is just one of the really cool homes. They got Skeletons and they're all dressed and we're trying to figure out look one looks like it's a in a pirate outfit one looks like it's a clown maybe from the circus uh and then even the second the second floor which is a really cool like second floor deck balcony style uh all decorated so i love the smoky cauldron out front to kind of welcome you to west walnut street just off of chestnut so again we're going to be driving through the town they gave us all the addresses and i'll tell you what every other house looks like it's decorated so this is going to be a cool town to not only drive through with this this morning but maybe put the kids in a car yeah zoom in on the zoom in on that this one right here real quick as we wrap up this is across the street and i just noticed in the windows they got i'm gonna be some spooky characters it's gonna be cool i got the lights. They really go all out. All right, Monsterville here in Merchantville, part of Halloween. We're on the road all morning long. Karen, back over to you. Again, Halloween, Merchantville turns into Monsterville. This is one of the hundreds of homes in the entire town here that is just decorated to the hilt for Halloween. I think this gentleman here just left for work. We saw somebody coming out of the house, but I like how he's got like the leaves kind of all around the top of his black wrought iron fence that kind of borders the property here. All kinds of good things on the inside there. Tough to see with the lights out. But again, if you live here in Merchantville, flip your lights on. We're coming through town, and we're going to go to the corner here and check out straight in. It looks like this is really, really cool. this has got to be a fun neighborhood to go trick-or-treating in, not like that you know just to pop the kids in a car and drive around the neighborhood just like we are is pretty cool and of course giving out the candy you know straight ahead there's a little slime jumping out of the uh out of the pumpkin there so again all day long all morning long Merchantville turns into Monsterville as we drive through the neighborhood they gave us all the addresses that are all decorated so we'll be checking in with you all morning long Babaween Karen back over to you we're still looking for candy i haven't found my first candy bar yet Merchantville New Jersey turns into Monsterville take a look at this home uh Brian right correct Brian tell me tell me all about it man how many years have you lived here uh we've been here for about 10 years uh and it's as you know Halloween's a big deal here so yeah uh you know everybody point out the house okay now you're saying that's all done from a projection correct so hit your button there show us how you can change up the projection really cool you got the witch in the top window and then Bam, that is so cool! Wow, how many pieces of candy do you think they give out? Uh, last year we gave out 6,000 pieces, 6,000 pieces. Now you got the animatronics on the front lawn, you keep adding each and every year, but take a look at the giant clown. Would you call it a clown or what would you you call that? Uh, like a joker scientist, that's an inflatable. Where the heck did you get that? I had it made overseas. Oh my gosh and that's the walkthrough here. Can we move up a little bit? Are we allowed to move yet? Can we move? We're gonna try come walking with us Brian, I'm gonna walk up because this is the entrance to the property, whether you're the mailman or the kids are coming over for a play date or for a trick or treat you get the walk through the giant mouth Man, you have gone way. This is cool. I'm coming here for Halloween. All right. And then also back here, I got to say thanks to Brian. Because look, he was the first guy to bring us candy. So we're good to go.
