Woman shot 11 times in North Philadelphia triple shooting

Scott, thank you. We are following breaking news. Great to have you with us here live at noon. As we look from Sky Fox, this is a very active scene, a triple shooting in North Philadelphia. This is on North 20th Street. Three victims sent to the hospital. At least 20 shots were fired just before 10 a.m. It's just a lot of things happen overnight or in the dark. But this was in broad daylight. Kelly Rule is on the scene for us. Good afternoon to you. Good afternoon, Jen and Thomas. Yes, the investigation is still happening behind me. You can see North 20th Street. at Somerset Street still blocked off as police continue to investigate. You can see there are some white chairs on the sidewalk and one in the middle of the street as well. Police tell us that this shooting happened possibly inside and outside a home on this block. So again, this happened just before 10 this morning and there were three victims. A 29-year-old man was shot three times in the leg, according to police. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition. A 49-year-old woman was shot 11 times throughout her body, according to police. She was taken to the hospital, and she is in critical condition at this time. Another woman, 27 years old, was shot six times. She is stable at the hospital. So, again, circumstances still unclear. We were able to speak with a woman who said she's a family member of the victims, and she said those that were hurt are her sister, her niece, and her nephew. So they appear to be family members. Police have not confirmed that, and they really haven't confirmed the circumstances either. They just said this is an active and ongoing investigation with the shooting investigation group. Jen and Thomas will bring you any updates as we have them. That family member did say that she believes that somebody might have run up on the victims and shot at them but we have not had that confirmed by police just yet. Yeah about an hour and a half now it's been an active scene as you mentioned Kelly simply stunning the 29 year old you noted three times 27 year old six times in the 49 year old woman shot 11 times you have to wonder if this was in fact an ambush.
