Bam, Bill, Alex and Mike on the airways giving what you like, topics on fleek,
eleven o'clock every day of the week, sweet on Fox local conversations and
it's
BAM.
Look at that.
Do you see your graphic?
I love it.
Do you see it, Jake?
Can we pull that back up?
Yeah.
The shirt I'm wearing, it says John.
Oh, yeah.
Wawa.
It's a Wawa John.
Oh, yeah?
But it just says John.
So we should have had them go ahead and put it.
Can we have that over my face now?
Is that possible?
It's your picture.
It's a great picture.
I'd like it to cover my face.
I feel shiny.
I'm happy shiny people today.
I said shiny.
You're glowing.
I just shine.
I have the Anderson 4x4 head, so there's just a lot of area to shine.
I have a big forehead, too.
Oh, my gosh.
My dad used to call it a knowledge knot.
Knowledge knot.
My brother used to call it a billboard.
And then sometimes if I fell asleep,
they'd write stuff on there and advertise.
Oh, my gosh.
That's not cool.
Boys are fun.
a lot of fun i don't know
if you're familiar Eleanor Carrigan joins us today on Bam you saw
the graphic today it's Bay Bay yeah
that's you Bill Alexander oh my goodness okay it's Bay
Bay i'm sorry you're talking about the the guys writing
on your forehead yeah you were telling
me down in the green room these stories we're down
in the green room you got you got
you're one of ten yeah i have nine brothers
and sisters i have six brothers and three sisters
okay crazy so the boys six outnumbered yeah i
was at the bottom i'm number eight so we go by numbers
that's how we sound off it's great
and then um so i was at the bottom so i got you know picked
on a lot whatever you want to call it but i
also didn't know i was a girl till like a week ago like
i'm not good how did you not know do they tell like i'm
a dude like i i forget i forget things
i'm just i i don't know i'm more we have we have some
of those yeah yeah around here as well my mom
makes fun of me she goes you always wanted
to be a boy i get it i didn't cook you long enough
so we have to i have told people alex's co-host
on Good Day okay is Karen Hepp uh and karen is is
you know she is mom
and she's all those things that but when people used to describe the
conversations that karen
and I would have that would get a little gritty I used to tell people
that Karen's just a dude in a skirt like you can sit there
and have that conversation and I don't
mean only in that yeah yeah you can go back
and forth with her Karen is not the yeah my feelings
got hurt because of the conversation
and also doesn't expect that yours will you know when she
but it's like having a sister I could do good hair
or I could throw a perfect spiral
it's a great combo I'm in there yeah all in there yeah yeah all right
so so you're on tour yes okay
tell us what you're doing you got
a minute we're selling tickets now but you're on tour a lot of
places you're not in this area I'm in I'm
in Fishtown you mean right this second I'm in
I'm working a punch line on yeah November 25th
which I'm very excited about that's right here
before Thanksgiving.
I know people are cooking, whatever.
Some people go out.
Come out, laugh, have fun.
It's me and Keith Robinson and Ralph Harris
and we're all Philly kids.
Keith and I are South Philly kids.
We're looking.
If you even want to come out and heckle,
come on out because we're ready.
You're welcome there.
They don't want to do that.
That's the Philly in you, huh?
Yeah, they don't want to do that.
And then on the 28th, November 28th,
I'll be at Soul Joel's out in Pottstown.
So I say out in Pottstown
Because I have no idea where that is
But because you're South Philly
You're authentic Philly
You're not like the person who says I'm from Philly
What bridges act
Thank you
I had a clip
I was doing a show
And a guy said
He said he's from Philly
I'm like oh what part
And he goes
215 Bucks County
Like all cocky
I'm like hold on a second buddy
You're like is that even 215
215 Bucks County
Yeah so I made fun of him
like he was a cheerleader like do you have
because i love like especially in south philly it's like
my family's on this block my aunt lives across
the street someone else is one block over i'm
the only one that left so they either
my brother jimmy lives up the street billy's around the
corner he's around the corner yeah we're all just
right all right there all that in fact somebody
dropped off a package the other day
and he goes oh are you related to the kerrigans around the
corner i go we're all related i just shut the door i love it
so then when you moved to la people
like do you ever because a lot of people talk about
the philly accent oh yeah yeah when you
moved to la were they like what
is that no i feel like it stripped me of it a little i'll be honest
like it's just because you you know people
were like i can't understand you you know like i had
to take american standard english here
because i was going to temple and my theater teacher was
like professor whatever you want
to call it i'll say teacher some teacher works my teacher no but
i was doing philly i was in a philly lawsuit doing shakespeare
in north philly and the lady goes you
i can't understand you you got to take american standard english wow
and i'm like wait a minute
i'm a problem shakespeare's shakespeare school
this dumping i'm one of the witches and you know
where out thou you know i'm like he sounds a little nutty
so they made me take american
standard english and i remember like practicing
and at the time i was a lifeguard in south philly
at uh johnson's field barry playground whatever
and so i was working and i was practicing in my
head and i blew the whistle and i went get out of the water
and the whole pool was like are you
They're having a stroke.
They're like, what?
Water?
Get out of the water.
It hurts to say it.
Yeah.
It's water.
We know that.
Yeah.
It's water.
We're trying to teach the rest of the world
the right way to say these things.
Say things properly.
Water.
All right.
So they can follow you on social.
Get tickets as you're touring.
We want to make sure that you know all different shows.
And were you here when Keith Robinson was here?
Keith is so funny.
I don't know.
He was here.
I know that.
I don't think you were because mike and i were.
I like how you're doing.
Now, you know, if you were here when he was here, you would know.
It was one of those.
Oh, I hope he's not a fit.
It's not that.
This is, you know, my third show.
I have like the forgotten one.
No.
Oh, my gosh.
No.
Then that was we have a lot of people who come in.
So if I showed you that as soon as you saw Keith Robinson,
you'd go, oh, yeah, I'd remember that.
And the reason I'm saying it is because that was the day that Mike
and I were convinced we were about to get fired.
Oh, then I get it.
I wasn't here.
he was here and Keith goes all in and you're laughing
and you're not sure whether or not it's
okay to be laughing and because he's Keith has a has had a stroke
and has continued to perform
and recovers and spends a lot of time talking about him
and those experiences and we were like
are we allowed to yeah his Netflix special is called different strokes
so it's hysterical
yeah it's nuts so i say all that to say don't go to their show
and try to heckle
she just said she welcomes it because she's from south philly
and she's gonna put a beating on
somebody who does that don't do that to yourself yeah don't
do that to yourself all right we're
gonna get into the topics the question
of the day gonna break some things down see what's going on
and you travel a lot yes
so people ever ask you to give up your seat no not on the plane
Is this scary to you?
Yeah.
We're going to break it down.
We will talk about it in 15 seconds.
Stay put.
At Courtler Madness, we eat, sleep, and breathe personal injury.
Our clients are our family, and we protect our family.
People can rely on us as if they could rely on a family member.
We know exactly what to do.
That's why people call us.
All right.
Thank you, Courtler Madness.
And yes, Keith Robinson will be here on Monday.
So we have a chance to get fired again?
No, it was very funny.
Okay, you said y'all almost got fired
I'm like, listen, I got bills
So I can't be having them coming in and messing up this thing
I was practicing being good
I'll be honest
It actually went viral
The clips went viral because Mike was
Literally in tears
And I'm sitting across going
I don't know if we're allowed to laugh
At everything he said
It was nuts, so it will be fun
Alright, so you travel a lot
You vacation a lot
Some might say.
Do I feel like I vacation a lot?
Not enough.
I'd like one now.
That would be great.
Well, we might get one.
Let's see.
Oh my gosh, what?
Not that kind of vacation.
All I want, I can come back from.
It's a four-season vacation.
All right, so the latest person to go viral
is an influencer named Tamiko Harvey.
Tamiko Harvey.
She was taking a 10-hour flight.
I feel like we hear about these types of things a lot.
Yeah.
Taking a 10-hour flight.
And, Jay, you can pull up the video.
Just don't turn down our microphones.
So she's taking a 10-hour flight.
And you see she posted.
So there is a woman sitting next to her, has the middle seat.
Her husband is two rows up.
She asked them, she asked to switch seats.
So she wanted the plush aisle seat,
and she wanted this woman to move into a middle seat.
Yeah.
The woman said no,
and the woman next to her commenced to cry for three hours straight,
trying to press her and guilt her into going ahead and switching seats.
Like actual crying?
She had the video, look, hour one, hour two,
like she took the video of the woman sitting there actually crying.
Is that a white woman crying?
I'm asking a question, because that's a problem, this crying like that.
a grown white woman on the plane just crying we
don't have enough problems Karen you want to cry
how many hours uh she cried for three we know
of the flight was 10 okay all right any circumstance
you're giving up your seat absolutely not well i'll say
this i will say this because when you
said it i said no but i remembered a woman asked
if we could switch her daughter was in the middle
seat i was on the window she was in the window ahead of us
so i just switched the window seat
okay that's equal right yeah i'm a window person
because i fly like a keg of beer like i you put
me in a corner i'm out like a light we take off we land i take
no drugs i can just do that is it
fear is it psychotic behavior absolutely i cover my face
and i fall asleep no people are like i
don't know if she's still alive like it's crazy
but anyway i wouldn't switch i wouldn't take an
aisle for a window and i certainly wouldn't take a middle
and i certainly wouldn't sit there and cry
for three hours and it's for her husband like she's
not with him all day every day so the
interesting part about that is her husband
was two rows up asleep like her husband apparently
according to the post her husband
was completely unbothered by this whole scenario can
we please catch up they're unbothered just take
it they don't care chill all right so you're not
giving up your seat unless it's an even trade
and you're certainly not going to get cried into
doing it yeah yeah all right you giving up
your seat uh no because the other part that we're not
talking about is a lot of times people pay extra
for to have that window seat it is not just like
oh i love to pay extra yeah
so like if i paid extra are you gonna give me the money that i paid
extra or man you see every day all day
and at night like i don't i'm gonna cry yeah i'm with
you and you're gonna cry and i have headphones
so we're good did the crying work no she posted
about it oh my god she gave
the influence how embarrassing maybe they were going for a funeral
or something and she needed to be comforted i don't know why
are you switching sides i just
feel like i can't imagine why you know it's south philly
that's a ridiculous thing to cry like that
i can't think of just you know look life
is hard get used to it get over it she must really be in
love i don't think i've had a love like that where i want
to cry just because i can't sit next to him
on a plane that's not love that must be some good loving
if not love is loving it's not love or
loving it's needy wacko behavior i was trying
to censor myself thank you i'm not ready for that
vacation yet i want it we do need to take
a quick break you hear the palm trees in the wind
eagles fan sure
well hold on now this week this season we'll take a break
and we'll come back and explore this
i was expecting a quick yes
but let's take a quick break and we will come back
it's bae or today it's bae bill alex eleanor kerrigan in the building
and you will be right
back bill alex and mike on the airwaves giving
what you like topics on fleek 11 o'clock every
day of the week sweet on fox local conversation
and welcome back to bae bill alex eleanor kerrigan
on tour you can check her out at punchline you can check
her out at soul jules check you out
on social media, at EJ Kerrigan.
Yes.
I think, right?
EJ Kerrigan, yep.
On social media.
And don't pick a fight.
You don't want that smoke.
All right, so I was about to,
I assumed you were an Eagles fan.
Everybody assumes.
Listen, I'll always root for the Birds.
I love the Eagles.
I will always do that.
But I do have a second team.
I do have another team.
Is it a second team, or is it the team?
See, I did switch that up.
Yeah, you're right.
Good catch.
I'm on it.
I like that you're up.
I like that you're up.
But as a kid, we watched a lot of sports.
Like, my brothers all were, you know,
bettors, gamblers, whatever the words are.
And we watched college.
We watched everything.
So we watched Eric Dickerson at SMU.
And when he went to the Rams, we kind of became Rams fans.
Not all of us.
Just me and my brother Bobby for the most part.
My brother Johnny until they stopped winning.
And then he went back to the Eagles.
And then he switched to whoever else
was winning because he's a family guy.
He's a problem.
Okay.
He's a problem.
All right, so your loyalty is,
so you don't, you're not a passionate fan.
Not a passionate fan.
I have gone to an Eagles-Rams game in L.A.,
and there's more Eagles fans than Rams fans.
I'll grant you that.
And I've gotten into a lot of fights,
and I always tell people, bring it on.
I've been locked up at that stadium.
Let's do it.
You go back to, like, the old 700 level.
I got no problem.
Getting locked up at that stadium.
Were you wearing a Rams jersey then when you went to, like, what?
No, I don't even think there was a game.
I got to be honest.
we used to skateboard in there we used to try to break
and whatever listen this is not
there's so many great stories there
when there's a story of a guy who was like living in it for a
while and he wrote a book in the vet yeah like there's some great
that was a mess i hate that
our names in there yeah it was it was a mess they tore it down anyway
so there was another
influencer who was asking
the stinking desperate cowboys fans yeah how much money they would take
if you could guarantee a cow like would you take a thousand dollars
or guarantee a cowboy super bowl
right and they kept doubling the money yeah how much
do you think it would take for a desperate
cowboys fan to give up the super bowl in exchange
for cash for a thousand dollars no it kept doubling
until they got to a number that people were willing to take.
Oh, so what was the number that they were willing to take?
They've been waiting a long time.
I was going to say, it's a fantasy all around.
That's true.
So they probably couldn't pick a number
because it's not a realistic discussion.
Right, right.
All right, so Ice Sports Official was asking the question,
the results might surprise you.
$1,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Super Bowl.
$2,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Super Bowl, easy.
$4,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Super Bowl.
$828,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Super Bowl.
My man, okay.
He's loyal.
Yes.
$256,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
I need a Super Bowl.
It's been forever since we got one.
$512,000 or a guaranteed Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Super Bowl.
$1,024,000 or a guaranteed Cowboys Super Bowl?
That's hard to say because I got to go the Cowboys to the bowl.
Cowboys to the bowl for sure.
$2,048,000 or a guaranteed Cowboys Super Bowl?
Guaranteed Cowboys Super Bowl.
If it went a little higher,
they could actually pay to be in the Super Bowl.
If they keep going.
Somebody could take the money and be like,
all right, I'm going to bribe all the officials.
Well, Jerry Jones has it.
I don't know why.
He keeps it in his pocket.
Yes, he does.
What's your number?
You're not a loyal, passionate fan.
Where would they have cut you off?
For right now, we need that money for the injuries.
we need
nah you talking about Eagles or you talking about Rams
no but you're a Rams fan
don't switch it up
I'm sorry I
thought we
were talking
Eagles
who's your team
the Rams put me
And the Eagles and the Rams have both
been in the Super Bowl in the past 10 years.
So that's, you know, it's not unfathomable.
Would you have checked out at $1,000?
No, I would have taken some money.
Because to be honest, at the end of the day,
they don't care about me, so I don't care about them.
Listen, I was watching it and watching it jump up.
And when it got to, like, $5,000, I'm sitting there going.
$5,000?
$500,000 or $5,000?
Just $5,000.
$5,000.
Oh, at five, you would have cashed out.
Wow.
You're just guaranteeing a Super Bowl
That was two years ago
And they're going to get back
at some point in the future.
Well, it's different for them
because obviously they have not been there.
That's what I mean.
So what's the number?
Ten?
Would you do it at ten?
Well, I'm just saying you can't equate.
We've been there three times in eight years.
That's what I'm saying.
I feel like it's not the same
as someone who hasn't seen it in decades.
Some of them probably in their lifetime
who was on there.
Most of them.
I thought that was Emmitt Smith for a second.
I was like, hey, Emma, what you doing?
It's not the same thing
Would you do it for 10?
Like 5 years ago
When the Eagles had not won them
Let's go back 10 years
Because I would have taken a thousand
To be honest
We just want money
That's what we're kind of broke
What's the PGW bill do when they ask me this question?
What's the inflation like this?
Right now
There's zero chance it would have gotten up
When they were like 256,000
Yeah
Yeah, I would have never.
I'd be like, oh, yeah, okay, I'll take the money.
Play for the team?
Like, you got cash right now?
Yeah.
Then I would have put season tickets to a losing season.
Right.
Now, do you look at that and go, wow, they're loyal?
Or look at that and go, wow, that's pathetic?
Pathetic.
It's pathetic.
But even in the, just wearing the outfit looks pathetic.
Just seeing them in their costumes.
Yeah, they didn't even have to talk.
Their scary Halloween costumes.
I say it's loyal.
Only because, like, it's hilarious every year.
how it's like this is our year you know they say
that this is it this is the year excuse me
i was trying to fight it but um yeah every year it's like this is it
and then you know and it's
not for a really long time they might be cursed
when jerry moved the palace in dallas you know
that might be it because it used to be you know a different part
and bearing the lead here i i grew
up in that oh yes yes why'd you whisper that all
of a sudden here those are i can get shamed and
You can't?
Well, I never said that I was.
Shame.
Are you an Eagles fan?
Yes.
Okay.
All right.
We got to take another break,
and then we will come back, stinking Cowboys fans.
I got another question for you after the break.
Okay.
Are you obligated to pay significant amounts
of money when you go to a wedding?
Is there a limit on the wedding gift, a minimum that you should give?
Oh, I think people think there's a minimum.
Think about it.
All right, it's Fay today.
Bill, Alex, Eleanor Kerrigan here with us on tour.
Make sure you follow her on social and get tickets.
Please.
She's at Punchline, November 25th,
and then Souljoels later on that weekend.
Yes.
All right, we only have a couple minutes.
I want to get another question up.
Let's do it.
Jay, if you can cycle through the pictures as we talk about this.
So this person, I blurred their name,
went to a friend's wedding, flights, hotel, suit, everything,
spent over a thousand dollars or pounds i guess
so this is overseas yeah spent that money so a
week later after the wedding their friend messaged them
that it cost them 165 dollars or pounds
you only sent 150 as your gift shouldn't you
at least cover the cost of your plate to attend the
wedding. The person wrote back, listen,
it cost me over a thousand dollars. I spent the money. I gave
you an envelope of cash. Like I did what I could.
We're friends, blah, blah, blah. And the person
wrote back, I didn't get any of the money
that you spent to come to the wedding. Can you at least
cover the minimum cost? He sent him the $15,
but it apparently ended a 15 year friendship because
They haven't spoken since he messaged him back
and Venmoed him the money.
Is there a minimum?
Who's the jerk in this scenario?
The groom, I guess.
I mean, honestly, we don't have to pay for your mistakes.
I'm not going to be here for, like, I'm going out of my way
to come to your wedding, pay the money to get there.
I decline every invitation.
I don't go to any weddings.
Really?
Even family.
I don't care.
do it yourself go on i don't want
to be involved nothing's ever good enough you can't get a gift
that's gonna they have a registry you still pick
from it's oh that's all you got i know right i
got you want to see what else i got i got
that and sometimes they just ask for money and then
i'm like well now you don't know how much i get yeah
because they're like contribute to our
honeymoon or contribute to our first home
which is beautiful but like it's do we have to contribute
when they get divorced, too?
Yeah, here, can you pay for this?
Legal fees.
So no, there's no minimum.
You don't feel obligated to go,
I at least have to cover my plate.
I mean, if you look at etiquette experts,
they do say that is the rule.
That's all I've heard.
You have to pay for what would be your plate.
Oh, I see what you mean.
I never thought of that,
but I go by their registry.
Yeah, and that works
because that's what they put out.
And if you just put some napkins on it,
then that's on you.
I could have gone to dinner
if I wanted to pay the cost of going to dinner
and I would have picked the place I wanted to go.
I would have had a better meal.
It's not just dinner.
A better time.
It might be open bar.
You might get entertainment.
You get dinner, dancing, a show.
Like, technically, it's a little more than dinner.
She's nicer than both of us.
No, I'm just saying, you do spend a lot of time.
I do struggle with that, like how much you're supposed to give.
Yeah, it's frustrating.
Alex would do the right thing.
We would be at the bar in South Philly not going to the wedding.
Quick break.
We're back to wrap it all up on Bingham.
Stay tuned.
And some people leave if you have an invite.
Alex and Mike on the Airwaves giving what you like topics
