Man killed, others injured in mobile home fire in Monroe

So tonight, a man is found dead in a burning home. Several other people have been hurt. Fox 2's Camila Miri is live tonight in Monroe with the story tonight. Camila, just a devastating scene. Yeah, a really bizarre story. Let me step out of the way so we can show you the mobile home in question. You can see it's boarded up right now, and on the ground you can see some debris that's burnt. So this all happened here on Raintree in this mobile home park here in Monroe. So police were called to the scene approximately 5.37 a.m. We do have some video from a little bit earlier today. So when they got to the mobile home park, they discovered multiple people injured, one male dead, and the mobile home in question on fire. The wounded were all rushed to area hospitals, Michigan State Police, Monroe County Sheriff's Office, and Monroe Township Fire Department all investigating. Now, they're not releasing a lot of information. We don't know what led up to this. We don't know how the person died. We don't know the extent of the injuries. But back again live here. So we do, according to police, they say that they believe this to be an isolated incident. And they say that there is no threat to the public. Again, we just don't have a lot of information. But we know that multiple people injured here at this mobile home park in this mobile home early this morning. One man dead. And then, of course, the mobile home itself, a fire inside. Of course, we will continue to follow the story and bring you more information as soon as we get it. Reporting live in Monroe, Camille O'Meary, Fox 2 News. Yeah, Camille, we see the fire hydrant there pretty close to the house. So I guess hopefully that gave fire crews some kind of advantage in getting those flames knocked down. Yeah, I mean, we can only hope. Again, I wish that we had more information to give you. We've tried to talk to neighbors. They don't really know a lot. They don't really want to get involved. So hopefully police will release more information when it becomes available. All right, Fox 2's Camila Miri live in Monroe tonight. Thank you so much.
